Floors were pre-finished bamboo installed by the previous owner - badly. They had nail holes, gaps, etc.. Thankfully, they were solid wood. The Elephant Floors team was able to sand them and fill the holes and gaps, and they looked awesome after refinishing! The front door was especially tricky because it was installed too low by someone else. He did some grinding on the high spots and used leveling compound on other areas and even managed to make things work around the door. The hardwood floors he installed are gorgeous and you would never know what a disaster we had started with. He is on the job himself much of the time supervising his employee and they both have positive attitudes and really care about craftsmanship. He charges a fair price and at the end he found that the square footage was a little less than either of us had measured so the bill was a little less. This level of honesty is really appreciated.
