I recently had my mom's house remodeled and wanted to replace all the laminate in our home with LVP. I got several quotes and went with Aram from 1StopFloors. Not only did he give the best rates, he was also very thorough and professional during the quote walk around. I ordered the material myself (CoreTec Aurora Oak ) with Aram's help on deciding. In total it took two weeks for the full job on the 2 story 1600sqft home. The houses staircase was in terrible shape and Aram worked with me to redo the entire staircase frame at an extremely reasonable rate, basically at cost for the whole thing. I am quite picky so I had a lot of nit-picks though the process that Aram has no issues or complaints with my requests and he made sure at the end I was happy. We ended up being short one stair nose from the original and Aram sourced and paid for the piece himself, which I really appreciated. He has also been awesome with any questions and followups I had afterwards which shows that he really cares about the quality and condition of his work. I reached out to several companies through Yelp and met with them to ascertain who would be the best fit for us. We had carpeting that needed to be removed after suffering through several foster puppies accidents. No amount of professional carpet cleaning was solving the problem of stains. Aram from 1StopFloors responded and came over to meet us. Most of our house has hardwood floors and some have wood finish veneer. We wanted a color match to the hardwood sections of the house. As luck would have it, Aram had a perfect match. I will say, these guys came back the most expensive of all the quotes we got, but there were some aspects of his thought process that made the most sense. He has a keen eye for aesthetics and what works best. When you're not sure, it helps to have someone with a good grasp of what is needed to make a decision. Once we identified what needed to be done, the process began. We chose pre finished wood for the floors that matched our existing flooring in the main part of the house. Aram and his guys delivered the wood the week before, leaving it to acclimate in the house. As we have younger kids and pets, we decided to not be around while the work was getting done. They came in on Monday morning to start the work and I was kept updated with the progress through it all. We did two large rooms and two corridors. By Friday evening they were done, cleaned up and out. Only issue we had, through no fault of theirs was an unsightly connection between the brick fireplace and the floor. There was a gap that really wasn't aesthetically pleasing, which Aram and his guys agreed with. One of them came back the next morning and finished it off with caulking and paint to look absolutely perfect. I fell for the impressive sales pitch but regretted it. They made a significant mistake on my job and did everything possible to avoid taking responsibility, including blaming me and trying to convince me to live with a gently sloping floor after spending thousands of dollars to improve my home. They were hostile to the point that I told them I would stop the job if they couldn't speak to me respectfully. They fixed the mistake, but were grumpy and hostile through the rest of the process and still cannot speak to me respectfully. The floors are pretty nice but sag and squeak right in front of the sink where I will stand often. Do not recommend. read more

We hired 1Stop Floors to replace the laminate/carpet in our 2 story house with manufactured hardwood. They did the installation work back in late August/early September. I cannot recommend this company enough when it comes to floor installation services. From the start what I appreciated was Aram took the time to inspect our house and patiently answer our questions about hardwood floor installation. He provided great advice & insights which helped us when it came to wood selection. And out of all the installers that provided quotes for our job, Aram was the only one to identify an issue with our subfloor that would require extra work before flooring could be installed. Knowing this upfront was much better than being surprised later on. The quote they provided for our job was transparent & detailed. Once the installation work began, the 1StopFloor Team moved fairly fast however I never got the sense they were rushing just to get to another job. This project was to replace our old (over 25 years) linoleum kitchen flooring with more attractive and durable quality vinyl flooring -- approximately 250 sq ft of flooring. Aram Harutyunyan responded promptly to our request for quote, visiting our home to size up the job and giving us a competitive price quote. He also provided useful suggestions on type of flooring and trim (baseboard, quarter round molding) that we used to select our flooring. 1StopFloor installers Mauricio and Temo showed up promptly for our scheduled appointment and got immediately to work, finishing the flooring in a single day and then coming back the following day for a few hours to install and touch up and baseboard and quarter round. The workmanship on the flooring and baseboard/quarter round installation is excellent. Typically, I need to follow up a contractor job in our home to do the detail work myself, but not on this job by 1StopFloors. The workmanship exceeded my expectations. I chose 1 Stop Floors, because Aram, the owner, pointed out potential issues (e.g. my new floor cannot be lower than existing laminate or the gap with the door will be obvious and likely new baseboard will be needed) and answered all my concerns with a perfect solution (e.g. how to handle the stairnose, the molding, and the existing closet). Some other contractors do not show same level of professionalism and perfectionism during their inspection. The price is competitive compared to other contractors, and Aram did a small reasonable adjustment after leveling work was done. Arman is the installer. He is absolutely the most knowledgable person, not only pro at leveling, floor installation, but also extremely good at caulking, painting, and knows how to best maintain a floor. He gives decent estimation on the work ETA and did the job with amazing quality. Given the severe unlevelness of my floor, I am extremly happy with the subfloor after leveling and the floor installation quality. It took Arman 6 days to finish all these job, which is quite impressive given the high quality and the inevitable wait for leveling material to dry. Regarding personality, he is very calm and focused during work. He will never do something without consent or discussion. He will analyze the pros and cons of different options and do not push for your decision. When I ask him to do me a favor on caulking my closet which is out of the scope of this project, he did not hesitate and quickly did it with amazing quality. I used to suffer from tripping myself because the floor was not flat. But now it is enjoyable and safe to walk on the floor. When Aram, the owner, came to my home for the quote, he spent lots of time answering all of my questions thoroughly and giving me recommendations. He is very knowledgeable. 1 Stop Floors was able to install hickory flooring and stair treads that I ordered from Vermont Plank Flooring. Arman was the lead installer. He is also very knowledgeable. And he is a perfectionist, which is a great quality for a hardwood flooring installer to have. Arman and his helper Mauricio installed everything perfectly, although it took longer than estimated. The extended schedule wasn't just because of Arman's perfectionism. It was also because we encountered two problems. The first problem, which Aram had warned us could happen, was that the plywood subfloor under our carpet was in poor condition and required leveling. The second problem, which was a surprise to everyone, is that we had a wall leak which caused the plywood subfloor to get wet during heavy rain that occurred during the installation.
