The video shows how my blind has delaminated. And instead of asking Hunter Douglas to repair it PkS chooses to humiliate me by calling me dishonest and uses my profession to vent out their anger. Delamination is covered under warranty irrespective of there being a tear on the other side unless they just need some lame excuse not to cover it. read more

Yesterday I entered the store around 4:30pm. I could hear that the staff person was engaged with customers, so I went through to the back where the Hunter Douglas samples were and next to where he sat with the customers. He didn't look up to acknowledge me, even though I walked quite close to him and the customers, definitely in their line of vision. I walked all the way into the area where customers shouldn't go, I touched several of the samples within, say, 6-8' of them, and then wandered throughout the aisles, just marking time until I hoped he would say something to me. When I eventually made it back up to the front door, I left. Apparently my business was not wanted. Edited to add: The "Amenities" part of the Yelp page says: "Masks required" and "Staff wears masks". During my visit neither the customers nor the staff member were wearing masks. read more

They helped us with an old Hunter Douglas blind we had that our contractor broken. Shipped the Hunter Douglas blind to the manufacturer facility and once it is fixed it will be mailed to our home. The owner were very nice, informative and helpful. Got a great selection on flooring too. Plan to go back to them when we decide to update our home floors. read more

I had the same experience as the other lady's who gave a 1 star. I don't know if it's the way I dressed or how young I looked. I had requested quotes for some highend stuff they had on the floor and the owner was telling me they're too expensive. How can he tell that I can't afford it just by looking at my appearance? He's discriminating approach is outdated, no one does that anymore. Disappointing. read more

If possible I would have given a negative rating. Most deplorable customer service. I went into their showroom this afternoon to take a look at their engineered wood floorings. Right from the get go, I was treated like a second class citizen. Any enquiry I made was given very similar responses. Like either the stuff I was enquiring about is too cheap and/or made in China . And they did not carry cheap products . And that I would be better off shopping in home depot. They did not bother to show me a single thing. I would like yelp to start keeping negative ratings for businesses like this one that definitely don't deserve anything better than a negative rating. Unfortunately I was forced to give a 1 star, when I really wanted to give at a maximum, a negative i.e. -10 star rating. read more

We needed new window coverings installed, and we stopped by their showroom. It is vast, you can get lost in there on window coverings alone. We talked to Paiman (the owner) and scheduled an appointment to measure the windows. He was very fast and efficient with the tape measure, and was able to identify when windows were slanted. Afterward, in the showroom, we talked to him about fabrics, light control, insulation, and other features. He was very knowledgeable about them and even recommended color schemes based on what he saw when he came to do the measurements. At the end, he was able to run several scenarios for us to give us a price estimate with slightly different configurations. We ended up going with Hunter-Douglas window coverings which took a little time to build, but they were able to install some of them as soon as they arrived. The first installer, Suman?, installed the first set. She was careful not to scratch the floor, and demonstrated how to use the window covering as well as troubleshoot it. There were several situations where the top of the window frame was slightly concave, making it difficult to mount the window covering into the center brackets. Rather than forcing it and possibly damaging the window covering, she used only the edge brackets, tested it gently, and notified us of the issue. The second installer, Mark, came to install the Vertiglide coverings for the sliding doors, a much more complex installation. He was a consummate professional and he seemed to have a lot of experience doing window covering installations. One of the initial measurements wasn't entirely correct because the ground was slanted, but he was able to compensate by measuring off the ceiling, and installed it without a hitch. Overall, we would use their services again for window covering installation and would definitely try them out for other interior design issues. Note: Because window coverings are custom built for each window, it takes some time for them to finish. You might be waiting for up to a month depending on how many windows you have and complex your window covering are. read more

We are very disappointed in the way Mr. Paiman Sadigh, proprietor of PKS, conducts his business. I chose PKS as it is a Diamond Certified vendor. We prepaid and ordered a window covering with a major brand which PKS represents. The contract included the window covering, delivery and installation. After a three-week wait the installer brought the window covering to our home. After inspecting the window covering the installer told us that it was not properly made. Another window covering was ordered. After another 3-week period, the installer came to our home with the new window covering and as before, the window covering was found to be improperly made. Again the installer left with the window covering. I called Mr. Sadigh and requested that he cancel our order and that he immediately refund our money. Mr. Sadigh accepted no responsibility for the problem and blamed the manufacturer. I told him that the contract we had was between his company and us, not between us and the manufacturer. I found it bizarre that that despite the fact that Mr. Sadigh provided no service or product to us, he still maintained that he had fulfilled his legal obligation to us. Fortunately, I used my Visa credit card and used the credit card company as a third party to dispute the charges. I submitted a grievance to my credit card company and after many weeks had elapsed PKS finally gave us a refund. PKS should have responded to our grievance immediately with an apology and a prompt refund. Instead, the proprietor of PKS attempted to skirt his contractural obligation to his clients with childlike finger-pointing to a manufacturer with which he routinely does business and which he endorses to his clients by giving it space in his showroom. The proprietor only agreed to a refund after his hand was forced by a grievance process, which I initiated with the credit card company. I had to expend much energy and time dealing with this matter, in order to achieve this favorable outcome. read more

We used PKS interiors to replace all the blinds and curtains in our house. The owner, Mr Sadigh, was patient and explained all the options. They had many samples in the store which made it easier to decide on how they look compared to looking at images online or in catalogs. After we placed our order, someone came to our house and did the measurements. After about 2 weeks, our order was delivered and an installer installed all of them in less than an hour. The installer was a 3rd party installer which was working with several other stores and mentioned that measurements which were done with PKS interiors were very accurate and he had an easy job. Overall we had a good experience and would recommend PKS interiors to our friends. read more

Paiman Sadigh helped us order a replacement pull cord for our Hunter Douglas blind, thereby saving an $800 replacement fee for a new blind. He also arranged to have a vendor come out to our house and replace the cord. Installation was very important to us as we knew this was not a task we could do by ourselves. Paiman was extremely detail oriented and helped us understand our options. We appreciated his thoroughness and assistance. If we had to replace any blinds in the future, we would not hesitate to seek out PKS Interiors for help. read more

We loved our experience at PKS Interiors on El Camino. I've ordered from discount online places before for basic mini-blinds to replace broken ones. But the last time we wanted something nicer, and didn't like our choices online, or didn't really love the choices at Lowes & Home Depot. We tried another local place (that I will not name here) that was such a waste of our time in the end. Then we ended up at PKS Interiors and they have a *huge* selection, personal advice, they can set you up with an installer (we used one, and glad we did, just got it done).
