Danny and David installed our Lutron battery operated smart shades as well as vertical blinds. They were prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. The vertical blinds were tricky because they're at an angle but they came out great. They helped me program the smart shades and showed me how to change the batteries and how to remove the shades if ever necessary. They even cleaned up after themselves . I had a Roman shade that needed to be repaired but it was not made by Alro and when I inquired Nancy, the owner, was quick to respond that she would do the repair. We had great communication over email with pictures and an agreed upon price( which was very fair) and then Danny the technician came to do the work. Unfortunately there were additional parts that were needed to complete the repair and Nancy kindly sent Danny back another day to finish the repair at no additional cost. HIGHLY Recommend installer Helio and Arlo Custom Drapery Installation for Helio EXCELLENCE in installing my Hunter Douglas Duette Blinds! Helio is excellent in his professionalism. He is an expert in installing and operating Hunter Douglas blinds to ensure they meet his excellent expectations. He displayed: 1) patience by showing me and letting me practice using the blinds and 2) care and respect for my residence. He requested to wash his hands before touching anything in my house and the new blinds and wore shoe covers. Helio also straightened the Hunter Douglas Duettes Blinds in my living room which I purchased 10 years previously from another vendor (I don't recommend that vendor). Straightening them was tricky since they were old-style, and Helio had to manually pull and tighten the strings in the blinds to straighten them out. read more

Unfortunately, although we have had success in the past with this company, our last interaction was very negative. We asked them to install a curtain over our screen room and a few weeks after the job was done, part of one of the drywall bolts strangely pulled out when opening the curtain. However, after having a retired licensed contractor look at the damage, it appeared to be a problem with the installation of one of the drywall bolts. When we contacted customer support, we were told that either that we had pulled hard on the curtain (we hadn't), that there was water damage (there isn't), or something that was beyond their responsibility. We then sent then multiple pictures of the damage, complete with the contractor's analysis and the answer they came back with was "Our lead technician has reviewed the pictures and it appears it was pulled on". But they never sent somebody to look at the wall and assess the damage (or even explain how we could have caused the damage described). Excellent Service. I just had these guys install Skylift shades on seven skylights. It wasn't an easy job, as each frame had to be individually assembled and each skylight had a slightly different measurement. Danny and Ricardo were personable, professional and did a great job. They were also very careful with my delicate Saltillo tile floor. I couldn't be happier with the final result and the look of the shades. Nancy in the office was also extremely nice and worked hard to accommodate my schedule as well since I needed it done in a short time frame.
