Overall, this communication is a textbook example of poor customer communication, where instead of offering to fix the holes (I would politely decline, but would appreciate the gesture and update the review), the business took "it's not us, you are lying" stance (obviously, because google shows the image of the previous house at this address, and the owner had no idea it had been rebuilt from ground-up).

Having plantation shutters at home is truly wonderful. If I could give ShutterMark of San Mateo 100 stars , I absolutely would. Before deciding on window treatments, I did extensive research. I learned that plantation shutters are easy to clean, help reduce noise, keep the house warmer in winter and cooler in summer, and even increase property value . That said, shutters are definitely a premium investment, so choosing the right company really matters. I was incredibly lucky to find Eli on Yelp. He was the very first person who came to my home to measure and provide a quote. Normally, I always compare multiple vendors--but this time, I decided to go with him immediately. WhyBecause Eli is not only the owner, but also the salesperson and the person who personally came to install the shutters once the materials arrived. That level of accountability is rare. By contrast, my experience last year with Lowe's was absolutely terrible. It really proved that "big companies are always better" is a myth. They often make the process far more complicated, their so-called lifetime warranties are mostly marketing gimmicks, and the prices are usually higher as well. Originally, I planned to install shutters on only three street-facing windows. But after seeing the quality and the pricing, I changed my mind and decided to do my entire home. When we arrived at the showroom during their posted hours, a blinking "open" sign greeted us. However, the door was locked and had a piece of paper taped up instructing to call for an appointment to see the showroom. I called, no one answered and it went to Mr. Le's voicemail. From the reviews I have no doubt about the proprietor's domain expertise, and it's perfectly legitimate to have a "by appointment only" showroom, but from my perspective a shop should actually be open when they claim to be. Mr. Le, please send me 10 bucks for the frustration and wasted time you imposed on my family today.
