A few days ago one of the internal springs broke. I called Ego and they told me to bring them in. Unfortunately, I had tried to fix them myself, so all the parts were scattered in a mess and I couldn't even put the parts back together. He told me he would fix them under warranty, even though I had made a mess of things (normally a 15 minute job, but it was going to take two hours because I made a mess of it... but he would still do under warranty). I can't thank him enough for repairing them. They work great, now. I definitely recommend Ego Blinds. And I definitely recommend looking at top-down/bottom-up blinds if you're not already familiar with them.

We found Ego Blinds through Yelp and met with Woo to review colors and cellular shades size. The whole process was smooth and pleasant. The shades arrived before we were ready and Woo was fine waiting until we were ready to have them installed. He came right on time and did a great job installing them. We're really happy with them and they allow us the privacy options we were looking for. Hunter Douglas (HD) is expensive, but we felt the pricing was fair within the realm of what you can expect with HD based solutions. We wouldn't hesitate to use Woo and Ego Blinds again.

We had a 20-foot automatic awning installed today by Sun Blinds. The blind extends over our back…read moredeck. The fabric is from Sunbrella. The arms supporting the blinds are driven by a remotely controlled motor that runs quietly and smoothly. We contacted SunBlinds initially through Costco, which is giving us 20% back on the total. Our interactions with the Sunblinds people have been great, from the rep who came out to our house for the quote to the installation crew led by Hunter. Hunter and his assistant did an excellent job on the installation and Hunter took the time to explain how to use all the features with very useful tips on using the blinds. The installed awning works perfectly, and we are thrilled to finally be able to sit comfortably on our south-facing deck during the midday sun. Overall, a 5-star experience.
