They only get one star because there is no zero. Treated me horribly, and wouldn't take my "vicious" greyhounds. They brought out a cat, and a chihuahua after I stood, alone at first, with my two dogs. My dogs didn't drool or anything... My dogs are extremely gentle and well-trained. I stood at the counter, in a surgical boot, with 150 lbs of dogs on leashes. I had an appt, which was taken over the phone. The receptionist told me I had booked shaving services.... really? Told me it was my fault they had taken the appt incorrectly. I would NEVER request a shave of my nearly-naked dogs! Am I missing something here, or are these folks completely ignorant about breeds of dogs? "Rude" and "ignorant" are almost complimentary. read more

The employees were very friendly and helpful. I got my dog groomed, and was happy with how things went; however, when I got home my dog was having some concerning issues (excessive licking/incontinence). I called back to the store, and all the managers I spoke to were very understanding, willing to pay for an initial vet visit, and (if the issues were related to the grooming) any other medical expenses. Fortunately, my pup is doing better the next day, and there was no need for a vet visit. I think she simply was not used to being shaved around her genitalia which caused the irritation/licking, and the excessive licking caused her temporary incontinence. The managers and employees at this store truly want to take care of their customers, and they are doing a fantastic job. I highly recommend this store. read more

I'm very upset, Michelle who works in the grooming department at the Goodyear store. She was very disrespectful. I guess petsmart changed there policy on grooming that you charge an extra $3 more on the weekend. I told Michelle' that she should inform customers of the new charge. She got very defensive with me and said if $3 is a big deal then talk to the manager. I informed her it wasn't about the money just the courtesy of letting a long time customer know. I let her know she was speaking to me very rude and she said well I didn't check her in go talk to the manager and just walked away. And was very patronizing and said have a great day. read more

This store is always so clean and stocked well! We regularly get our shitzu puppy groomed here by Marisa for the last 2 years and love her!! Having a shitzu it's very easy to mess up their hair but we have never been let down. If you're looking for a great haircut for your pup then I 100% recommend Marisa F! read more

We had our 2 large dogs groomed last week and both got the FURminator. We were told that the shedding would continue for about 24 hours after the groom and then as long as we bring them back within 4-6 weeks for more FURminator treatment it would decrease the shedding by 90%. I could live with that. BUT... 8 days later and they are STILL shedding like we never even took them to get groomed. 2 dogs for $130. For practically nothing. In fact our shepherd is almost shedding worse than when we took her in. A little would have been understandable but this is unacceptable. Feel like we were ripped off and maybe paid for a 2 hour dog sitting session instead of a groom. read more

I have gone in to this location twice in the past month to buy food for my Shih Tzu and I am not impressed. This second visit, a couple of days ago, I had asked for help from a young woman by the name of Kayla or Kaylee (I don't remember which one it was- but was a K name) and she had an attitude about her, as if my husband and I were bothering her and inconveniencing her. She was not very friendly. We did not interact with the other staff, but that was enough to turn us off from returning. We will make the longer trip to go to a different store. read more

I recently got a rescue dog and we go here a couple times a week for socializating, training classes, advice, fun toys, food treats, you name it. The entire team has been so incredibly helpful and I'm thankful to have a place to bring my pup. She's a bit of a crazy pup, but the team at this petsmart are always understanding, helpful and sweet. read more

Fairly empty store and since it's so empty you'd think there would be more workers there to help you, but I was standing by this fish area for 10 min and no one came, so I went to the cashier to have someone come help me. This has happened every single time I am there. Kinda frustrating. read more

Made appointment to get out dog bathed and brushed. Told the girl she didn't like the driers and they would have to clip her nails, not grind. Dropped her off and again, no driers, no grinder. If she won't let you clip her nails don't worry about it. After 3+ hours, no call back. I called, girl said she freaked over the driers (really??) and it would be another 30 min. Show up 30 min later and they are wheeling her out in a kennel to take her to emergency vet. While trying to grind (yep, ignored me again) her nails she got a bit nippy so they muzzled her. Being pissed about the driers and having them attempt to grind her nails, she tried to claw off the muzzle and scratched her face near her eye. Their policy is they have to take them to the vet. They got her there, said NOTHING to me. Confirmed the store would pay, and left... after sitting at Blue Pearl for 45 min (that will be another review) and only seeing 1 other dog make it in back, we left.. will take her to our vet this morning... thanks for not listening to the people that know the most about their animals. read more

I had my standard poodle groomed here on the 4th of July. Not only was the haircut not the best, but the groomer was overly rough with my dog and this was when I could see her! I wonder what went on when I couldn't see her. I should have rescued him from the abuse and deeply regret that I didn't go in and remove him. Never again! read more

The grooming was great but they tried to steal my dogs collar. I called them 2 hours after my husband picked her up and asked if they had it,they said yes. When I went to pick it up her name tag had been removed from the collar which takes effort. They didn't have an explanation for that. I'm 100% sure it was on the collar when we dropped her off. read more

This is my favorite pet store and favorite Petsmart location. The employees are friendly and are truly animal lovers. This location has a fantastic cat adoption area. We have adopted from here three times and it was always a pleasant and easy experience. They also have full service grooming for dogs and cats. read more

I took my dog in for a grooming appointment. When I picked him up, the sky opened up and started raining. When I checked out, the worker told me to pull my car up and he would go get my dog for me. Three workers helped my giant great pyrenees out the store and into my car. One worker, took his jacket off and covered my dog with it and lifted him into the car when my dog started to lay down. Absolutely amazing service and I appreciate them taking into consideration the money I just paid for a clean dog. I will continue to take my dog to this PetSmart! read more

Going to Petsmart to get my Brussels Griffon groomed is sometime a hit or a total miss. Having never been to this location before, I took a gamble as my preferred Petsmart groomer at Dysart no longer works at that location. They gave me a so-called "salon manager" to handle my dog. It wasn't busy at that time. Usually they'd asked me how short I want him shaved but she didn't. So I thought that she'd got it figured out and have plenty of time to properly groomed him. When I got him back after 2-3 hrs later, he was extremely shaved to a point of bald and there was still some long fur left hanging on the side of his body that I had to trim myself. And she did an awful job on his face too... The only nice thing was that she managed to cut and grind down his nails, and he hates to get them cut. Can't imagine how she did that. Therefore two stars. All in all, getting groomed in Petsmart is a hit or miss depending on the groomer. So hard to find a good groomer who knows how to work with your breed! Petsmart (in general) is still my favorite pet store where everyone seems friendly and love animals (compare to Petco). read more

This review is for the grooming department only. I have no issues with the store or the staff in front, they have always been friendly. I have been taking my dogs here for the past several months and each time I have taken them in, I have had my doubts and suspicions that they were not getting fully serviced. Every single time I dropped them off I would specifically ask them to make sure they clean their anal glands (even though it is listed as part of the regular bath service, I was told they don't do it unless it is requested). I know for a fact the last 2 times they didn't because my dog comes home still licking and irritated from being full. I am the kind of person that will give the benefit of the doubt and go back and try someplace out again if the service was not great the first time. Hey, everybody has bad days, right? 4 times and several different people grooming my dogs later.. I will not be returning again! The staff was rude and clearly annoyed when we walked in (we have 1 basset and 1 beagle that do bark a lot when locked up) but they work with dogs and dogs bark! Don't hate on mine!! So I dropped them off at 6 pm and, yes they were scheduled appointments, it usually takes a couple of hours and they call when they are almost ready. The store closes at 9, so when I hadn't heard anything by 8:30 I decided to head over since it take about 15 minutes to drive there. My beagle was "ready" even though when I got home and checked him over, his ears weren't cleaned! My basset was getting dried off at 8:55.. They brushed her for about 2 minutes and still had to clip her nails.. We were in the car by 9:05. She was still very wet and full of hair and her ears weren't cleaned either!! The groomer had the nerve to tell me that both of the dogs had full anal glands and that I should just take them to the vet next time! Well lady.. They wouldn't be like that if you all did your job..
