She did have to go shorter because of the mats, but it was fine because his hair has grown out. It looks fantastic very even all over. She did a great job. My boys look amazing!…read more I have an Australian Shepherd and a Black Labrador Retriever. They're both big dogs, and neither one is exactly known for making a groomer's job easy. DHDC Mobile Pet Grooming absolutely knocked it out of the park. From the beginning, communication was excellent. I received text messages confirming my appointment window ahead of time, and on the day of my appointment they even let me know the groomer might be running a little behind. Ironically, he wasn't behind at all. I was given a two-hour arrival window of 3:00-5:00 p.m., and Corey arrived right around 4:00. That's about as perfect as you can ask for. The biggest reason we'll continue using DHDC, however, is Corey himself. My Australian Shepherd has previously been labeled as "aggressive" by other groomers when handling his paws and underbelly. Naturally, I asked Corey how he did. His response? "No aggression. He just got a little restless and wanted to lay down." That told me everything I needed to know. Waylon wasn't a problem dog. He just needed someone patient enough to work with him. Both of our boys look fantastic, but our Aussie required the most attention. Between the Grinch paws, the leg feathers, and enough rear-end fluff to qualify for its own ZIP code, he had plenty of work ahead of him. Corey cleaned him up beautifully while still keeping that classic Aussie look. All in all, the dogs are happy, I am happy, and our air purifiers are happy. UNPROFESSIONAL GROOMER AMBER AND FRONT DESK. In addition, dog groomer, Amber has anger issues and is the most unprofessional groomer I have ever dealt with in 30 years. She really needs to address her anger issues and find a different line of work.. I called Friday late afternoon, around 4 o'clock, to schedule dog grooming for my miniature poodles. Initially, the appointments were going to be next week; however, I was told that they could fit me in on Saturday with Amber. They mentioned 730, bringing the dogs in so that they could bathe them all at the same time and go through their process. I'm not paying for them to use their process only. I pay big money for dog grooming so that they cut their hair, do it right, and in a professional manner. Unfortunately, my house lost power last night, so the alarms did not go off until 8:30. I called and they said we could get you in if you can be here in 15 minutes. which traditionally is not an issue. I called multiple times to say I'm on my way and I've heard Interstate 10 can always be a surprise. I get a call as I'm two blocks from See Spot Clean stating I will need to reschedule. So my question is, if they were gonna spend the four hours on five dogs, and I offered to only bring two dogs in based on the timing and the receptionist said no. I get a highly aggressive text from Amber saying that she is on "COMMISSION" and she had to give up clients which she did not as i was two blocks away, According to her she had the two appointments already scheduled from last week, because they told me she was fitting me in. I hate when people in the service industry lie to manipulate the narrative . Therefore, she lied to me about that, and then goes on to say that because the power outage and not making it in 15 minutes, that she missed out on clients is false because they told me she was leaving immediately. It is obvious that the front desk and the groomers are not in sync, and that is a management issue that they need to resolve. When I bring five dogs in between paying the fees and giving hundred-dollar gratuities or tips to the groomers, that's $1000, plus I've been doing this for years. I'm a retired chief information officer and have managed employees in 40 countries. If I had employees treat what should be clients but not as customers, I would fire them. Any employ in a customer facing role should try to find common ground and not be aggressive and throw a tantrum and punish the customer who is paying their salary. I would've happily scheduled my appointment next week, and I had no way to control APS and whether it provided power to my area or lack of power, and I definitely can't control traffic on the I-10. I hope the owner reads this because I am making it a mission now as a former good customer that should've been a client telling everybody I meet about the horrible service that I've received from See Spot Clean and definitely never take their dogs to the groomer Amber. The other problem I have is when I try to explain some of these issues to the person at the front desk, she didn't say, let me escalate to a manager or let me let you talk to Amber right away. She just said OK. I'll tell the owner. If that is the business model for resolving customer issues, it's broken You've made a long-term customer angry. resulting in lost revenue, not just to the owner of the grooming company but to the other groomers that do a good job. I blame Amber specifically for her unprofessionalism and the front desk staff I will be leaving feedback on See Spot Clean on all the social media spots, i.e. Yelp, Facebook, HOA Management Community Boards, Google, Instagram, Twitter or X. To my astonishment, he interrupted me and said, "I don't F-ing care about your white car or anyone elses'." Pretty much the end of the story right there. I filed a police report and he dared ask me if I would come talk to him. Sounds like a threat to me. I highly advise you keeping your special dear friends away from this groomer.
