I LOVE this place! I have been bringing my husky here to be groomed for years. They do an excellent job of deshedding the winter coat when it starts falling off. I always recommend this place to everyone. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonably priced and much lower than competitor chain pet store grooming. When I schedule an appointment they usu get you in fairly quickly. They also have self service walk in tubs where you can bring your dog in to wash yourself. I like to take advantage of this option in between grooming appointments. read more

I would give See Spot Clean a 0 if it was possible. As a customer for many years for my dogs, I am sorry to say that things have changed. DONOT TRUST TAKING YOUR DOGS TO SEE SPOT CLEAN. UNPROFESSIONAL GROOMER AMBER AND FRONT DESK. In addition, dog groomer, Amber has anger issues and is the most unprofessional groomer I have ever dealt with in 30 years. She really needs to address her anger issues and find a different line of work.. I called Friday late afternoon, around 4 o'clock, to schedule dog grooming for my miniature poodles. Initially, the appointments were going to be next week; however, I was told that they could fit me in on Saturday with Amber. They mentioned 730, bringing the dogs in so that they could bathe them all at the same time and go through their process. I'm not paying for them to use their process only. I pay big money for dog grooming so that they cut their hair, do it right, and in a professional manner. Unfortunately, my house lost power last night, so the alarms did not go off until 8:30. I called and they said we could get you in if you can be here in 15 minutes. which traditionally is not an issue. I called multiple times to say I'm on my way and I've heard Interstate 10 can always be a surprise. I get a call as I'm two blocks from See Spot Clean stating I will need to reschedule. So my question is, if they were gonna spend the four hours on five dogs, and I offered to only bring two dogs in based on the timing and the receptionist said no. I get a highly aggressive text from Amber saying that she is on "COMMISSION" and she had to give up clients which she did not as i was two blocks away, According to her she had the two appointments already scheduled from last week, because they told me she was fitting me in. I hate when people in the service industry lie to manipulate the narrative . Therefore, she lied to me about that, and then goes on to say that because the power outage and not making it in 15 minutes, that she missed out on clients is false because they told me she was leaving immediately. It is obvious that the front desk and the groomers are not in sync, and that is a management issue that they need to resolve. When I bring five dogs in between paying the fees and giving hundred-dollar gratuities or tips to the groomers, that's $1000, plus I've been doing this for years. I'm a retired chief information officer and have managed employees in 40 countries. If I had employees treat what should be clients but not as customers, I would fire them. Any employ in a customer facing role should try to find common ground and not be aggressive and throw a tantrum and punish the customer who is paying their salary. I would've happily scheduled my appointment next week, and I had no way to control APS and whether it provided power to my area or lack of power, and I definitely can't control traffic on the I-10. I hope the owner reads this because I am making it a mission now as a former good customer that should've been a client telling everybody I meet about the horrible service that I've received from See Spot Clean and definitely never take their dogs to the groomer Amber. The other problem I have is when I try to explain some of these issues to the person at the front desk, she didn't say, let me escalate to a manager or let me let you talk to Amber right away. She just said OK. I'll tell the owner. If that is the business model for resolving customer issues, it's broken You've made a long-term customer angry. resulting in lost revenue, not just to the owner of the grooming company but to the other groomers that do a good job. I blame Amber specifically for her unprofessionalism and the front desk staff I will be leaving feedback on See Spot Clean on all the social media spots, i.e. Yelp, Facebook, HOA Management Community Boards, Google, Instagram, Twitter or X. Specifically on groomer Amber and front desk. read more

They used to be so good but litterly the last three times I ask them to leave my doodle longer and give her a teddy bear cut and keep It longer they have totally shaved her even when she had no matting and charge me 150! I'm Over it, the last time I pay that much to have her coming back shaved looking like a ratty poodle. They even asked me multiple times and said she didn't need to be shaved because there were no mats. Picked her up and she was shaved to the skin. ;/ do better read more

First , I want to say I have been a loyal customer since See Spot clean first location in Litchfield. I traveled from South Phoenix with my dog Kingston a Lhasa Apso for over 8 years by choice because of the excellent grooming service. Sadly kingston passed away 2 years ago from old age at 16 years old. Kingstons last grooming I was not happy with however I blamed it on old age. Maybe the groomer did the best they could with him. I now have two shih Tzu's boy puppies. I decided to take the two boys for a grooming both are under 4 pounds same price as kingston $70 for each plus tip. I took my friend along for the ride to the groomer knowing its always at least 5 hours before See Spot Clean calls to tell me the boys are ready for pick up. I praised See Spot Clean to my friend about the excellent service and why I choose to drive 45 min to Goodyear. My friend and I had lunch did some shopping. After 5 or 6 hours I got the call for pick up. The girls brings my two Shih Tzu's out. Just a hair cut. No precise cut . No fluffy tail . Nothing at all a very Mediocre cut. No bandana scarf for my boys. I asked the girl at the front desk for the bandanas. She replied we have them for purchase if you want them???? The 8 years I've been coming here it has been complimentary. 80.00 dollars for each dog plus some other added fee. I was not only embarrassed in front of my friend but feeling foolish . I will not be returning to See Spot Clean. I can save my Gas, Time, and money for such mediocre service. read more

I went somewhere else to try them for awhile (which was cheaper )BUT came back. Its worth the money and the service. The Girls/ ladies here are so sweet, good customer service and they love my dogs. Grooming was awesome. The last time i took them ( i dont know who did them )but they looked great. They even gave me tips when i attempted to bathe them myself there. Provide all the tools you need. read more

I paid - they bright out my dog and then told me he had a different cut and needed more money. I thought that was very tacky! Especially that they have screwed up and shaved him when he was only there for a bath before! They just can't get it right! I have tried to give them another chance! I just can't - the girl was so rude about it too. It's not my fault! read more

Brought our 4 year old Pomeranian in today for her grooming appointment. She's been getting groomed here over a year. Check in person asked if we wanted the same trim as last time and we said yes. Get a call an hour later they completely shaved my dog. We have told them and there are notes to NEVER shave her. Gave some horrible "systems issue" excuse. BUYER BEWARE. read more

I brought my Odie here for the first time, came to this spot opposed to the other I had been to recently only because it is much closer to where I live. I like the idea of it having like separate rooms for you to wash your dog yourself. Odie does his best around other dogs but gets anxiety if there are quite a few or if they are barking a lot. It was pretty empty when we got there it was right after they opened. The area is spacious, they provide everything you need. The only thing which wasn't even a big deal to me is the tables didn't adjust, at least not the one I was at. It did cost 5 bucks more than the wash I've been to previously. I guess if I wanted to treat Odie with bakery treats I'd go to the spot, but because this is closer to me I'd probably go to this spot. read more

I don't like to review but because of my last experience with a different pet groomer See Spot Clean is a 5 star experience for me. I don't go in for services beyond a nail trim so I can't offer insight past that, but the care the team gives my animals is very reassuring to me & it never takes me too long there at all. read more

I've brought my pup here a few times. They do a great job cleaning her up. Plus they offer pup hair coloring which I might try later. The only thing I wish they'd improve is letting you know when your dog is ready. I had to call a few times after 3-4 hours when she had been done already. But I would recommend this place the prices are reasonable for quality of work. And my dog loves going they are sweet to her. And she smells so good after. read more

This was a couple of years ago, but I took my dog in for a standard bath - no fancy add-ons or extra services - and was charged $80. I have a 16lb schnoodle, not a large dog by any means. His coat is always brushed out so no mats or tangles. Where I went wrong was not asking when I made the appointment how much a bath would cost, but I figured it couldn't possibly be more than $45-$50. I dropped him off on my way to work, so I had no choice but to leave him since I wouldn't have had time to take him back home. I paid for it upfront because I didn't want my husband to know what it cost when he picked him up. I didn't want to hear his mouth. That was the first and last time I ever took my baby there. I don't even want to know what a full groom costs if that's what they charge just for a bath. Found a mobile groomer right after that who only charged $85 for a full groom, and she's the best ever! read more

Disclaimer: This is strictly about the "do it yourself" dog wash tubs. I hope this is received as constructive criticism. The staff was friendly, and perhaps the other services they offer are fantastic... However the self-serve tub set-ups are the most "non-user friendly" I've seen in my many years of owning dogs. Keep in mind I have a larger dog. Here are the highlights. - HIGH TUB w LOW WALL design (see pictures on their website) which means a lot of water outside the tub making you wet and the floor slippery. - NO BACK PANEL/RETURN WALL so your dog could literally get startled by the water, take a step or two backwards and fall 4ft or so out of the tub onto the hard floor. Unlikely, but very possible. Yes there is a tether provided to use, but I often don't use it in other places (aka tubs with 4 walls) so I didn't think about it at first ... in this case it's a safety concern if you don't. - NO STURDY STAIRS or STEP to get your bigger dog into the tub. They do offer some cheap plastic stairs you might find at a pre-school... and the nice young woman who was working there literally said to me that I need to be careful because they aren't very sturdy!? Respectfully, this tells me the establishment is aware of a problem but have made the choice not to address it. - SLIPPERY FLOORS both in and out of the tub. A couple of plastic matts would solve this problem. I used as many towels to dry up the wet floor as I did for the dog so I didn't slip... especially to get my footing to lift the kid back OUT of the tub because... as we've already covered... the stairs are unstable. In my humble conclusion, if you have a big dog, or a dog with joint issues (hard to stand in a slippery tub) perhaps this aint the place for you. Also... to the business owners, making changes to the tub itself might be financially unrealistic, however pointing out the hazard of not having a return wall behind the dog ("Be sure to use the tether"), a sturdy step-up system, and some rubber matts for the floor and in the tub would not cost much and (in my opinion) go a long way for function and safety. Namaste :-) read more

This is the coolest place to go to take your dog for self-servicing grooming. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful at check-in. There are multiple "private" rooms where you can bathe your dog and they provide everything you need: shampoo, conditioner, cotton balls for dog ears with witch hazel, brushes, towels and for the price of $15 even includes a nail trim by their technician! You can not beat this price. This is the best place for your fur babies to get cleaned up indoors. It's way too cold in AZ during the winter to bathe your pups outside!! read more

I took my golden retriever here and unfortunately had to leave in a rush without checking to see how well they groomed him we also gave very specific instructions on what we wanted done (ear hair trim and cleanup, ROUNDed butt fluffs, legs cleaned up and evened out, and even out the chest but not take off any length) I picked him up after about 2-3 hours and he looks like he got into a fight with the hair clippers his chest is all choppy, leg hair is still the same length, ears cleaned out but not trimmed, and his butt fluffs is also choppy and flat (not rounded at all) I called and was told they could only refund me the cost of the cut and tip and not my full service. Seriously do not know what happened to my dog while there but I am extremely unhappy and now my dog looks worse than when I took him in. read more

We have taken all of our pets to SEE SPOT CLEAN for 15 years, EMMA, SAM, and now Maizie. They will truly love your pet!

They're good with my girl and she feels comfortable with the staff. The people who work there are very friendly!

After doing some looking and reading of reviews, I was a bit hesitant to take my dog here. I had noticed the responses to the unsatisfactory reviews and none of them actually too accountability for any issues. There was an apology in the review response yet no accountability and mainly an excuse. I felt it could be a hit or miss so I thought I would give it a chance giving the See Spot Clean the benefit of the doubt. My dog was groomed on 4/24/25 and I wanted to give great consideration prior to my review. In discussion, I did inform the individual scheduling the appointment that my dog is an Akita but a bit more than that. She is part wooly and her hair can be like pulling a cotton ball apart. I was VERY transparent with how heavy a job I knew she was and was told 1-3 hours. When we arrived at 08:30 am, I was quoted the same timeframe and I fully expected to consume 3 hours. Please know, staff was very kind. I informed them we lived 29 miles away and would be doing errands. I returned at approximately 2 hours into the service, shown a video of her in a kennel with air on her after bathing, and was told she was doing well. I stated I would be waiting in the parking lot at that point. I came in at 3 hours of grooming to use the restroom and she was still not finished. At 12:30 pm, I reentered at stated it had now been four hours. Yes, my dog was clean (and staticky) when she was brought to me. The sani-cut was not as short as it should have been and her front legs had not been trimmed up as discussed. This was communicated and I was told they could take her back and it would be another 10-15 minutes. I stated we were done for the day as I felt this would be only add to the stress of my sweet dog. She said I could bring her back within 7 days for a recut at no charge. I explained I was not sure if I could budget that into my schedule with the consumption of travel time. There was no discount offered off the price but please know I did tip the groomer $50. However, there was nothing offered to make up for the extended amount of time or lack of communication regarding the inconvenience. We were unable to stay any longer as the fourth hour already encroached our schedule. If you have a dog with a double or triple coat, you may want to seek grooming elsewhere. read more

This place was horrible. Service was lack luster and my dog left looking hideous and they completely ignored my notes. Jenna the supervisor was even worse. Would not recommend going to this place. When looking at the past reviews, they blamed it on their employees leaving false reviews, when in reality; they do not take accountability for their poor service and more than likely, poor management. read more

I called many groomers on a Sunday just because I couldn't stand how my boy looked anymore. His fur just grows too fast, and every time I cut his fur myself, it turns out super horrendous! I called See Spot Clean around 10 am and they said they were fully booked. Around two hours later, they messaged me saying that there was a cancellation and that I can take my little pupper in. I really appreciate their consideration and letting me know that there was a spot open! My boy Kai looked fresh as ever, and it was the best cut he's had ever. It was the second time I took my baby in and both times, they gave him cute little scarves too. :) For my little maltipoo, it cost me $55 for a full grooming which was less than the other ones I have gone to in Tempe. The lady who took care of us is very friendly as well. read more

So sad, been going to this groomer for the past 10 years. Their customer service has greatly deteriorated and my poor dogs are stuck there way too long, not even given a proper bathroom break. They really hate this place. And I do too, after it taking more than 7 hours to groom my dogs. No follow up on their timeline, they don't answer phones when you need them to, no grace for being 15 minutes late for the appointment. Done. read more

I had high hopes for this groomer since we left Bia's. Unfortunately we will not be returning. I didn't notice the cut until until we got home. This was actually the second time the cut was not right. Last time didn't even look like they trimmed our pups face or ears. I literally had to trim myself a week later then again before we took her this time so I can give example. This time she still had mats on her belly and she was uneven throughout. How can you miss the mats on belly?? I didn't bother to call which I should have but at this point we are done and on the search for a new groomer! read more

Moved to Goodyear from Peoria last year so we were looking for a go-to grooming place. We have 2 huskies (50lb and 70lb) and we wanted a good, quality grooming for an affordable price. Went to this place to try it out and I'm really pleased with the results. Both my pups came out really happy and well-groomed. They got the sanitary areas shaved just right, nails well done, and overall couldnt be more pleased. Prices are very affordable, paid $118 for full service for both. It only took 4hrs total for both my pups. There are a lot of other dogs there just free roam and everyone's very friendly. Finally found our go-to grooming place. read more

PLEASE BE CAUTIOU!!!!!! I've taken my dog here several times and was great at first, but they constantly gave my dog an ear infection. They would always leave hair residue in their ears as well as water causing irritation. I let them know about this every time I went to prevent it again and once again my dog would receive an ear infection. They would also never let me know about it which was strange considering they were supposed to be "cleaning and trimming their ears". read more

See Spot Clean used to be a five star dog groomer, but sadly it has gone downhill over the years. I took three of my dogs down to be bathed, brushed, nails clipped, and clean anal glands. After paying $200, what I got back in return was: -all dogs bathed (given) -one dog not brushed (German Shepherd) and the other two were brushed very poorly (Queensland heeler and black lab mix) - two dogs didn't get their nails clipped and one dog had her nails pretty much butchered by one of the groomers (photo attached) - Ears and anal glands were still dirty -Sorry excuses on why my dogs nails were cute shorter than usual and how it wasn't their fault they were bleeding. I ask one of the male assistant to clip one of my dogs nails since they missed it the first time around, and he acted like it was an inconvenience for him. He wasn't friendly and definitely wasn't kind with animals either. So overall, save your money or go somewhere else where they treat dogs with respect and don't leave them traumatized. But if you do take them the only person nice enough to understand what is going on is the nice young lady at the front desk, Victoria. Nothing I hate more than writing a negative review, but clearly something needs to change at this groomer. read more
