First time I have taken my little fur ball to a groomer. I called to schedule a nail trimming. They said $25 cash only. When I took him in, I was taken by the smell and dirtiness of the shop. I figured well maybe that's normal considering all the pets they take care of. The lady came and took my little guy to the back where I couldn't see what was being done. She brought him back out 5 minutes later, took my money, and I left. He seemed fine. We got home and not long after I noticed how sharp his nails were and he had tore wholes in the couch. They never filed his nails. The next morning he was acting sick. The next thing I know he had the runs and out came a solid hard piece of candy. I never said anything to the shop. I just had a a bad feeling from the beginning about that place. I don't ever walk my little guy due to large dogs unleashed in my complex and I have no hard candy in my home ever. So how he got ahold of it is very questionable. Now I'm reading all the other reviews and I felt the need to share. Especially if anyone else has had their pets come home and have similar issues with hard candy or stomach issues. read more

They did an uneven job on my dog's snout and the price for a bath/hygiene was significantly more than I've paid for a full groom. They said his coat was great, no mats (I brush and comb him almost daily) but there was no breakdown on how it was double from the last bath I had done at another local salon. Their website talks about discounts and when asked, I was told "no honey there aren't any" but they did ask for a tip. If you want to pay a $600 urgent care bill this is the perfect place. when i picked up dog she told me that his eye was irritated that maybe he had an infection or got something in his eye that he prob needed some eye drops and to keep an eye out on it. the next day in the morning my pups eye was completely shut. i called the groomer to see if by chance he was cut or to see what happened she told me no he was fine and explained everything to me the day prior. we took him to urgent care we're he was seen and they let us know that his eye had been severely cut. i called the groomers the next day to let the owner isabelle know and she said she wasn't there and she can't say and would have to talk to her daughter in law jessica to see what she said i let her know i had already talked to her and explained things but she told me his eye was closed prior to us dropping him off and that she called to let me know when i had explained she had never called me to notify me i didn't find out until i picked him up. i let her know if that was the case had me or my bf seen that his eye was such we would not have made an appt we would have taken him to the vet. she told me well i don't know what happened to your dogs eye or whatever i told her it's wasn't whatever and that as an owner and this being her place of business of something happens you think she would want to know about it or take it more serious than saying whatever. jessica called me later that day i explained what was said to me she asked if he had an infection i let her know that he did not they checked multiple things and it was said that his eye was severely cut and he had to be on medication and a cone for 7-10 days. she argued that she didn't cut him and that if she did he would be bleeding etc . and that she told me his eye was closed before she got to him which was not the case i was with him the whole day and when my bf dropped him off he was perfectly fine eyes opened and all. if she thought he had an infection or that his eye was closed why would she keep him? and not notify me? especially if she thought he was contagious. she said she did call me like she told me prior then she said she didn't call me cause why would she want to call me she didn't want to alarm me and stress me out. so her story changed from telling me that she called me to notify me then to not calling me. she told me that it seemed like i was trying to put the blame and fault on someone to get my bill paid . mind you i paid $600 for taking him to urgent care and $76 on top of a $15 dollar tip i gave her for a butchered hair cut she gave my dog. the haircut was not even a proper cut she just cut all his hair off she didn't properly trim his nails. we're she supposedly didn't cut him he has a cut exactly where his eye was cut!!! she left him a mess as you can clearly see in the pictures of his horrible hair cut short pieces and long pieces all over his body. his paws not even cut all the way. his tail not cut one side it short and the other has random long piece of hair. his ears not cut properly the whole cut was aweful and a complete mess. i understand that sometimes accidents happen but to be so defensive and argumentative about the whole situation and not even letting me speak i couldn't even barely get a word in cause she kept talking over me everything i try to explain something and to tell me i'm trying to blame someone. my dog was 100% fine when she took him and seems like when she cut him she put blame to cover herself from her mistake and try to say he was already like that. i was a becoming a regular customer and to be treated in such a way is very sad and unfortunate i would have understood of it was an accident but to try and cover yourself for cutting my dogs eye is not ok. no sympathy from the owner or her daughter in law no apologies nothing all we were told is that they couldn't serve ice our dog anymore. shame on them. hope this serves warning to others. protect your fur babies cause they will blame you and not take any responsibility for the damage and hurt they cause! read more

I cannot begin to explain how great Isabel's is!! Such a great experience each time we've taken our two dogs here over the past few years. My dogs always leave so happy, with treats and bows and a great haircut. if i could give this place a 0 i would, my doggy had an appointment at 12 am i took him in, they were "done" with him around 6 . had him limping on his left paw and had him wining. the lady got super mad when me and my sister confronted her about it, she started recording us trying to gaslight us. all i'm saying is please watch out if you're going to get your dog a haircut here . you might end up paying a whole hospital bill. read more

These are very nice ladies that work there, however I think Isabel did my dog and it did not go so well. My pup is sweet and easy to handle they even complemented how sweet and easy he is. I was happy to get a last minute appointment, however they stuck it to me in the price. I only wanted a neat and tidy and I got everything BUT. So be very clear with your directions to them. They told me 2.5 hours and it was 4. I was waiting as I had an hour drive home. He was wet when I took him and had to go right away as my 87 year old mom was in the car and others. I asked for Tidy, which means his parts are shaved and cleaned up. This did not happen at all. Nails were not as short as could have been and that is always helpful. Instead his face was butchered up and I can hardly look at him. I did ask them not to touch his ears and they did not do that however and she said she'd clean up his eyes, well she took his whole muzzle off and did not clean up his legs. It honestly looks like someone who does not have an eye at all for grooming did him including gashes in his nose hairs where they like did an oppps! Lastly a wet dog stinks, so there we were in the car with a stinky and MAN did the hair fly out of him, like what the heck????? Was way over priced and I was very unhappy. When I called to discuss, which I really wanted at least half my money back they wanted me to come have a redo. I would not even consider a hour drive each way, then a long wait only to have him butchered up more. There is nothing to fix, he just need to regrow. It was sad the way they handled it and so I feel like a review is a must. I see many good reviews and that was what gave me confidence in the first place. read more

They are so expensive. I took my labradoodle (~45lbs) in the other day and it cost me over $150 for that one dog. I also took in my havenese and she is only 11 lbs and it cost me $70. So for two dogs it cost me about $220. It was so expensive. My dogs ears still have hair in them and my dogs faces are not even at all. We asked for a little hair on their heads and from the picture you can see it's so much hair left on her head. I will be finishing my dogs haircut at home even though I paid $150 for this one dog to be done. We will be finding a better groomer for hopefully a cheaper price. We have been going here for two years and they were still expensive before but all of a sudden the prices have doubled. The results just don't match the price. read more

I've been coming here since I got my dog almost three years ago. My dog is scared of everything and everyone so he used to shake uncontrollably as soon as we got in the parking lot. Now that he's been going for so long he does great. I love that this is a small, family-owned business. You can tell that the people working here actually love animals.
