And while I might consider myself thorough, "anal" might be a more accurate descriptor. We consider our pet family as well, and when our old vet/groomer retired I went looking. We don't look for the closest, or by zip code, but I do look for the best. My dog is a rescue. Skittish somewhat, but a superb judge of people. A skill responsible for keeping her alive before she found her forever home I'd guess. She likes precious paws. I like precious paws. My family likes precious paws. Ask around. Go visit.
