Had a really great expirence at this place. A rainy day at the dog park left us in a last minute search for a groomer who wasn't booked. We were long overdue so the mud was a blessing in disguise! We called 4 places with no luck until we found this place. They were already booked but they took pity and took our pup in. Yetti is a rescue who is gentle but is very timid. The staff took GREAT care of him, and he looks AMAZING. They even gave him a little stuffy he happily carried out in his mouth... he's even resting his head on it now! My dogs are 8 years old and I took them here a couple of months ago for the first time. When I picked them up that afternoon, my dog, Elton's side of his butt was bleeding. In eight years he had never had razor burn. He had to wear a cone for a week, and it was strenuous on me with work. In the process of them saying that they would accommodate my next appointment, even after I had to miss due to an emergency, they did not. I've been taking my boy August here for several years now and every time he comes home he looks sooo good and acts like he feels good too after a good grooming. I have a bad habit of waiting way too long to schedule appointments, but when I call they are usually able to get me in for an appointment within the next day or two and are very flexible. Groomers are always friendly and they recognize him when we come in for his appointments. Prices are very fair as well. I recently moved pretty far from their salon but we still make the drive over for them. August always gets excited when we say we're going to Snazzy Dogz (he actually learned where it means we're going when we say their name now haha). Took my Dachshund boy here for a bath but i was more interested in nail cutting. Still bought the whole packet (Bath, Ear cleaning and nails.) Picked him up ears were still dirty i noticed right there at the desk i could see the dirt with my own eyes, he still smelled dirty and they told me they couldn't cut his nails bc he didn't let them. The nails are justificable but the bath and the ears? Plus i got charged 6 dollars more than what i got estimated. Not recommended read more

seriously so disappointed. took my golden in yesterday & when the girl at the front desk told Amanda she had another appointment for her she said "another one?" excuse me? lol isn't that your job? I should have known then. I told them I didn't want any fur trimmed besides the privates & my pup comes home with the worst stomach trim. not to mention cuts on her tummy. her poor nails are so broken! after I even called to confirm she used the grinder. obviously not!! I was so worried when on the way home she kept dry heaving! & she's now constantly itching herself..... never taken my pup there again & if I were you, I would keep looking. read more

I took my two dogs to Snazzy Dogz after seeing the positive reviews here on Yelp, but that was the biggest mistake I've probably ever made. My dogs came out of this place traumatized and butchered, and I do not recommend you take your dogs here if you care about them. I specifically asked for teddy bear faces for my small dogs (8lbs-15lbs each), and asked that they not be shaved or cut short. I wanted a trim and had insisted that their hair not be cut short, even after the groomer continuously asked me if I wanted them to have a summer shave, shaved for the summer. I said several times that I wanted teddy bear faces and a slight trim for the rest of the body, and that was it, not shaved. After they took my dogs back, Jean made sure to tell me that if I didn't want to be charged a usage fee for using my debit card, she suggested I use cash, which I thought was strange. When I came to pick up my dogs, there were no dogs in sight. I waited for them to bring me my dogs, but instead they wanted me to pay first. I thought this was odd, since I've never been asked to pay until after I see my dogs, but I paid first, in cash as suspiciously suggested. Once I had paid, a groomer went back to get my dogs and initially came back with the wrong dog. She went back to try again, and came back with both dogs who were clearly traumatized and looked absolutely butchered. They dropped the dogs off in my arms and walked off to the back, the girl that groomed the dogs wasn't even around. My shih tzu/yorkie, Sophie, was shaking and practically scrambled to get over to me and away from the groomer; my schnauzer mix, Roxie, was not herself at all. These dogs were in shock, and even my husband who hates these dogs felt absolutely terrible when I brought them home. Sophie had styptic powder all over her paws which meant that her nails had been seriously bleeding when they got cut. Both dogs nails were jagged and cracked, they were uneven and sharp. It didn't look like the groomer even used an actual nail clippers! Both dogs were completely shaved, their underbellies were the shortest I've ever seen and in no way was this considered just a trim. Their faces were cut unevenly as well. It literally looked like a child was handed scissors and chopped these dogs up. My dogs were not handled with care, and my requests to get my dogs hair cut in a specific way were not taken seriously at all. They initially insisted that the dogs get a summer shave, and instead of doing what the customer wanted, they did what they thought was best and it wasn't even a professional job in the slightest. I paid $90 for both dogs plus a $10 tip per dog, cash, and ended up with what was the worst grooming experience I or either of my dogs have ever had. My dogs did not act themselves for at least a couple days afterwards. As a note, I have paid less money at other groomers including mobile groomers that come to my home. I am in no means getting my dogs groomed with ridiculously high expectations, but I believe that anyone in my position would feel as upset as I do. read more

First time at Snazzy Dogs and overall a wonderful experience. My German Shepard is nice and clean, and her groomer was awesome! Gosh darnit I wish I was good with names! Kelly and her team are amazing. My dog is not easy to groom or handle. What I love about Kelly is her deep compassion for animals and her ability to handle every dog like it was her own. Due to such a busy schedule, Snazzy Dogz was able to accommodate my schedule to get him in for his teeth cleaning on a Saturday which they don't normally do them then. I too was impressed at the "reviews" and chose to take my dachshunds in for grooming mine are long haired, one being an English cream I asked for short cut clean them up as it's been awhile since they have been professionally groomed. I received my dogs back Completely Shaved ! My cream looks ridiculous! And my other has razor burns all over her stomach area! They both are shaking head A lot and pawing at ears which look very irritated. I now have to visit our vet for answers to this! Very disappointed in my Shih Tzu's grooming today. We had specifically requested a teddy bear face with the face remaining full and fluffy--to be similar to how we took him in. The groomer stated she understood what a teddy bear cut was. However, when we got him, which was after payment and tip, his face was short short. His face was not even recognizable. Not at all what we asked for. Besides that there are areas that are lopsided...it was not cut evenly. I will not be returning to this shop. It will be months before his face is even grown out. The service was done in an hour. I wished they would have taken the time for what was requested and (seemed to be) understood. I would have rated zero stars if possible. Attached is a picture. The top pic is what we wanted (it is his face before the appointment) and the bottom pic is what we got. We only wanted it shaped up not totally cut down. He is a year and two months. As my dog has aged, he is becoming anxious leaving home, but becomes a big goofy happy guy when he realizes he is going there. While traveling over the holiday we found ourselves in need of having our pup's anal glands emptied and having her bathed. Kelly was able to take us with short notice and was so knowledgeable, friendly, and just awesome to work with. Our pup was itchy from a previous grooming at a place back home, Kelly washed her in a super gentle oatmeal bath and made a great suggestion for how to use coconut oil to cut down on the pup's itching.
