    Just ordered a tiger shovel nose from. These guys today they were extremely helpful and I'm coming back with my girlfriend tomrrow!!!!!

    I took my 3 rescues to Vera at Grooming Tails. She did an amazing job with each dog and was very through. We'll definitely be back!

    After reading rave reviews of a certain type of dog shampoo, I ordered a bottle online for store…read morepickup. My order was placed at about 1:14 pm on Tues. Jan. 13, and I received a confirmation "We have received your order" showing 1:16 p.m. I saw nothing indicating a window of time for order processing, just the note "You'll receive an email when your order is ready to pick up." After waiting 1-1/2 hours and hearing nothing, I called the store at 2:45 p.m. and asked what the holdup was. The person who answered told me that they allow a two-hour window for processing online orders. She looked at the records and told me she saw the order, would fill it, and email me when it was ready. After waiting nearly 30 more minutes with no email notification, I drove to the store. The nice young lady at the front counter found the order and handed it to me. When I asked her if it was standard practice to take that long to fill an online order for a single item, she said it was not and she couldn't explain it. After I left the store and checked my email again, I found an email telling me the order was ready. Although it indicated a sent time of 2:51 p.m., it did not show up in my in box until after 3:00 p.m., about the time I got to the store. When I got to the store, there was only one other car there, and that customer left the store just as I arrived. I say that to indicate that they were certainly not busy. So I am at a loss to explain why it would take nearly two hours to fill an order for a single bottle of shampoo -- and that happened only after I called.

We have been here twice because they always have availability, and sometimes you can get an appointment on the same day of service! Perhaps there is a reason no one is going here, but when your dog stinks, your high expectations will fly out the window just to restore order to your senses. I recommend booking the first appointment of the day. If you wait until later, you will see your dog travel through a room full of hair clippings. It's quite disgusting. They really should spend some time cleaning up between clients, putting a screen up so customers don't see the mess, and have a tidy path for dogs who have completed their service to be able to travel to the desk without collecting the fur on the floor around them. Yuck! I have a large dog that sheds quite a bit. Usually I do a de-shed or furminator type service at the groomer twice a year at a different groomer and that generally cuts down on the puffs around my house. Unfortunately, the Petco service doesn't seem to be effective at all. I brought my dog home yesterday and puffs of fur were still plucking off of him when I pet him. Had they actually done the service correctly, this would not be happening. I brushed him and was able to pull enough hair off of him to create another "dog". He was also supposed to get trimmed, but he still had grinch feet that I will have to tidy up myself. My appointment was at 9:00 am, and they called to let me know he was ready for pickup at 10:40 am. It only took an hour and a half to wash, dry, brush, and trim him? This is a dog with a double coat of long hair. I don't think so! It seems to me they are skimping on services and it shows in the results. Two other things that I would like for Petco to improve are the payment and tipping process. When booking the appointment online, I'm asked to input my credit card information. However, when picking up my dog, I'm given an invoice and told to go to the front counter of the retail store to pay. I have take out my credit card and swipe it, which begs the question, "Why did I have to input my credit card when booking the appointment online?" I'm asked if I want to pay a tip. Mind you, I haven't seen my dog yet. I have no idea how he looks or if the groomer has done a decent job. Tips used to be given for exceptional service, but now they seem to be expected whether services were delivered or not. My dog seemed happy when he was returned to me. Also, he didn't seem too traumatized when we arrived for the appointment even though he had been bathed here before. That leads me to believe that the staff are kind and gentle with him. Will I come back? Probably. However, I may not get the furminator or haircut because why pay for services when they aren't being delivered as promised? The first groomer I had did a much better job. Perhaps the real trick is to book a specific groomer that will provide the level of service for which I paid.

One of the other stores was out and I called this one and they had the cat litter i needed. So I asked if they could hold it up frount for me till i could get there they did. I was so happy they did. I also just tried local delivery for the first time as they had the huge 28lb bags of Worlds Best Cat litter on sale, and instead of trying to lug those home myself, I thought why not have them delivered? I ordered them at 319pm which is after the 1pm cutoff for same day delivery. I wasn't in a rush so next day totally fine. Bags were at my door 35 minutes later at 403pm. Wow!! Granted I live 1 mile from the store, but still! That's amazing service! I wouldn't expect that every time, could have had a lull in business or extra help then etc, so that shouldn't be what one would expect every time in the future, but this is the kind of service I'm referring to. Never had a problem with this store, been going for over 10 years and realized I have never written a review for them. Overdue! You can also do curb pick up or order ahead and pick up in the store, but most of the time I'm in the store shopping. Never overly crowded, and as I stated earlier usually always plenty of help. Even when backed up I don't think I've ever waited more than a minute or so. I prefer this smaller chain over the bigger box stores. Their rewards program just got easier last month and the discounts are legit. If you have a lot of pets especially, this is the place to go!

    I hope corperate takes a closer look at this location and fixes the culture here. I end up having…read moreto drive miles in another direction to get food for my dogs cause they're so unfriendly at this location. It's an all white staff, has been for years, and none of them want to help you if you're ethnic. Every other spot I've been to is great, the most friendly staff, but this location is horrid. It's been like this for years now. You are only welcome there if you're white. Today I had a really rude large white lady with black hair snap at me for asking questions about my dogs snacks. She had total attitude from start to finish like I had bothered her whole day or something. Then, when I went to check out (cause apparently they removed the counters so employees could spend more time helping customers ironically HAHAHAHAHA) I asked for a bag and she snapped "we have none sorry" with this evil smirk on her face..... it's crazy how different literally ALL THE OTHER SPOTS ARE except this ONE. They need to recycle their entire staff and management and make a point to diversify, this neighborhood is becoming predominantly colored people, it's not right to have a location like this that promotes racial profiling and such grotesque behavior. ***UPDATE*** I have spoken to Sharon W directly myself and she was completely defensive and biased to the entire situation. So people know, most owners use AI to respond to us, this is just some blanket comment the "owner" left to cover their tracks. This company has gotten so big they do not care anymore about the culture of their stores or maintaining good customer service. This was really disappointing how corporate decided to handle this. I am wearing my meta glasses everytime I walk in now and hope I can catch this on film and blast this place.
