Now, Rockwall County Veterinary Clinic requires you to purchase from their pharmacy or obtain a paper prescription for any medication. If I ordered from their online pharmacy the cost is $37.04 plus shipping. However, with the 4th of July coming and all the fireworks, I wanted to obtain the medication immediately. I went to the clinic and purchased it for $56.95! What a scam! I did email the pharmacy at the address in the email on Saturday regarding picking the medication up at the clinic. NEVER received a response. Good thing it wasn't an emergency. I did request a paper prescription and was told it would take 24 to 48 hours to get it. The Vet I use was not in today and I was told only the Vet that sees your pet is able to issue a paper prescription. I was never overwhelmed by the office anyway, so this is just another reason to change veterinary clinics.

Also leaving the original post so this update actually makes sense*** I took my dog to this place over christmas this year and when I picked her up she was covered head to tail in a very serious staff infection. I am not sure where she picked her up and there was no way to be certain, but what I can say is that there is no way that they could have over looked this. If they had contacted me we might have been able to start meds sooner. When I took her to the vet I was getting asked questions to help streamline her treatment, but when I called they would only keep telling me that the manager was in a meeting and would call me as soon as possible. This is the excuse I got the next day too. So far the manager hasn't called me. Edit: To be clear (in response to Brian) I don't think it was caused by the stay there, but it did get significantly worse to the point that it would be impossible to not notice it. The only way it could happen is if nobody spent a lot of time with her, which was a service that I did pay for.

We had to bring him back because he was getting worse instead of better. It turned out to more than likely being an aggressive cancer that wasn't really visible in images before. The Vet and tech were so compassionate. First, they were completely booked for the day when I called but took us right in. The Vet explained the different avenues we could take. After much tears, we decided we needed to give him peace. The team was so great with us and our pup. They made a hard day a little easier with how patient they were with us and let us take as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. He was our baby and a huge part of our lives. Having AHF help us through this meant so much.

He's been coming for the past two years and we've had nothing but great experiences. The staff know him, he always comes home bathed and well cared for.
