He spoke to me while he was on vacation, which I was thankful for, and told me we could finish the conversation once he returns from his vacation. We set up a time and day. I called and he was busy. It was understandable since it was his first day back from vacation. We talked later that day, agreed on the services that needed to be rendered and the date/location of the service. The day came and I didn't hear from him. I called his cell and emailed him with no response. My situation was complex and required a lot of work but he committed to it knowing all the details. Maybe deep down he thought he was in over his head. Regardless, as a service provider better communication and customer service was required. read more

With 5 reviews in 7 yrs, it takes a lot for me to write a Yelp review. I've used Adam at Pest Fighters 3 times at 2 different houses in approximately 10 years. The treatments have been effective with the very first treatment. It did not require a revisit for additional treatment...ever. When I had Adam work on the same location again, it was approximately 3 years later, and all of my neighbors had sugar ants months before they ever arrive at my home. Not only is Pest Fighter's treatment effective, but it was very important to me that it was safe and non-toxic, since I have four animals in my house. A true testament is that Adam's own pet travels with him during the workday, which shows how truly safe this effective treatment is. In all the years I've owned my homes, I would never consider using anybody else to deal with pest. Adam has always arrived on the day he said he was going to, and with really short notice too! This process of applying the treatment seems thorough. Dana at the office was pleasant to deal with on the phone as well. He also did a thorough exploration of our large crawlspace and sealed up a hard-to-find entrance that could not be seen from the outside of the house that I never would have found. After hearing scratching coming from our ceiling and then seeing wasps swarming outside the window (about where the scratching was coming from), we knew we had a serious problem and needed to act fast before they got in through the drywall. I called a few other companies (because they seemed closer to us) and they either didn't have availability for a few days or weeks or didn't answer the phone. However Pest Fighter picked up right away and they truly delivered. I called around 9:00 AM and they said they'd be out between 12:00 and 1:00 PM that same day and they were right on time (around 12:15 PM). The tech, Matt, was super nice, very professional, and knew exactly what the issue was and how to solve it. He explained what he was going to do and even did an inspection of the rest of the outside of the home and sure enough, found three more wasp nests. He ended up removing all four in about an hour and we're so relieved to 1) have the wasps gone and the nests removed but 2) to have found a reliable and extremely responsive (and reasonably priced!) pest control company that we can rely on for years to come. Pest Fighters did a great job getting an awful smell out of our crawlspace. We were scheduled to move into our house within two weeks and we had a MAJOR rainfall here in Seattle. The next time we visited the house we were gagging at the terrible odor. I called the company and they sent Eric out to help us. He took charge of the situation immediately and was able to get the remnants of an old infestation removed. They hauled out all the old insulation, sprayed with an odor neutralizer three times (Eric came in to do this over the weekend for us) and put in new insulation in both the crawl space and attic. By our move in day on Monday the house smelled just fine and all the problems were resolved. Kudos to the company and especially to Eric who went above and beyond! read more

I've used Pest Fighter quite a few times since my first review. For awhile there our cat was bringing in live rats and we could not capture them, so I just called Pest Fighter. Recently, our roof warped just a teeny amount, just enough for a rat to get in, so I called Pest Fighter again. They plugged the hole and now we're rat free again. And then for some reason, a few months back, we got ants. Adam has some special potion he uses that kill ants, but do not harm cats. It did the trick. This company does excellent work. Called Pest Fighter to solve a spider problem that I had been having. We met with Garrett and he was very knowledgeable about the service. He very kindly answered my endless barrage of questions. These guys are great - I had a rat issue in my crawling space and they took care of all of it, from removing them to cleaning it to restoring it. The process took a few weeks. Garrett showed up and inspected the whole house (outside, attic, garage and crawling space) for potential entry points, he found a few and sealed them all (with steel mesh), he set up traps in the crawling space and followed up weekly for two weeks to make sure those were no more. Then he removed the whole insulation as it was contaminated. Treated the area to kill bacteria and another crew came to install new insulation. It was all reasonable priced. Hope that I don't have to call them again but next time there is pest, I'm not calling anyone else but Garrett @ Pest Fighter! read more

Read this if you have MICE problems! We've been using another pest company (who will remain unnamed) for several years but they have never been able keep mice out of our house. I was thinking it was just our house or a fact of life that the little critters will get in. After hearing them in our walls, I was finally fed up and started Yelping to find another exterminator and stumbled upon Adam & Pest Fighters. Let me tell you, this is the company you need, and I'm an idiot for sticking with my other one so long. They kept sending out these new guys all the time that literally felt like they were making up stuff about pest control. Getting a real expert made all the difference. Adam came by, went right to work combing over all the nooks and cranny of the outside to exclude the mice. He knows his stuff when it comes to mice habits, set up the right traps to get rid of the ones inside, and sure enough they noises slowly stopped. Now on his final visit, not one mice was found inside and he finally sealed off the last hole, and I have not heard any more mice noises inside, finally exorcising my house of mice. I can't say enough great things about this company! My grandma has had issues with small bugs in her kitchen for years. I hired Pest Fighters to help after my tenant saw rodent droppings in the basement of my rental home in Seattle. I was initially impressed that when I called to leave a message on a Friday night about getting someone out there, someone actually answered the phone and scheduled me ASAP. My being impressed quickly turned to disdain. When Jeremy, the pest control guy, came out to the property, my renters let him in and I was unable to be there. Jeremy inspected the property and laid traps, and then proceeded to tell them that there was essentially an "imminent" health risk due to the "severe" infestation of rats/mice in the attic and the basement. He sent me a quote stating it would cost thousands to "secure the home" as well as thousands to remove all of the insulation in the attic and replace it, which was absolutely necessary due to this "imminent" health risk (according to Jeremy). I was instantly suspect when I learned that Jeremy had told this to my renters before even talking to me, which (I think as planned) caused severe stress and hype within them. This was, at best, unprofessional. Additionally, when I questioned Jeremy about what he was recommending and why, he scoffed several times and acted offended that I was questioning the necessity of his recommended "immediately necessary" repairs. My gut told me something was off. I called around to several other exterminators. They all were shocked that an attic with such a severe infestation requiring removal/replacement of all of the insulation would not be heard by the people below. Although I was fearful of paying another person to go out to inspect the property only to find it all was necessary (thus even MORE expense), I felt very taken aback by this out of the blue recommendation, the pushy and unprofessional tactics, and the overall experience with this company. The other company just called after visiting the property. They anticipate less than $1,000 in repairs. One of the "major entry points" that Jeremy quoted HUNDREDS of dollars to secure was fixed by the new guy, for free, during the inspection because it was a very easy and obvious fix. The attic absolutely does not need the insulation removed and replaced. I suspected this company was using unprofessional scare tactics to illicit thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs and expenses. This is something I know nothing about, and we trust the people we call on to help us. I am glad I followed my gut and went with a different company. I would NOT recommend. read more

After weeks of no progress, we were able to get my father in law out to our house and he found a hole in our basement that Jeremy missed, plugged it, and set additional traps that eventually caught the sucker. We called bunch of companies (n=5) to take care of ant and rodent problems in our house. Pest Fighter was the only one who could come over to inspect the problem in a short notice. MATT from PestFighter showed up on time and he was very helpful. Since it was short notice, he did not have enough bait stations but he did come back to put more. He also covered all holes around our house to make sure rodents don't enter. He has made multiple stops to make sure there are no rodents around our house. He also sprayed the house inside out for ants in his first visit and that completely solved our ant issue after 2-3 days as he predicted. I highly recommend Matt and Pest Fighter. We signed up for their plans and we will be their customers for a long time to make sure we don't run into issues anymore. read more

The Pest: Ants, both carpenter (a few) and small (full on infestation in parts of our yard). We got a very glowing recommendation from our neighbor who had been using Adam for several years. So we called him first and left a message. His response was immediate by phone and we set up an appointment for the next morning to spray. I had a lot of questions about both the pests themselves and the products he had to eradicate/control them. He also asked me lots of questions about our house and what measures we were willing to take to fight the ants. We settled on a plan: a chrysanthemum based but partly synthetic pesticide (which is fairly commonly used) and Adam quickly and efficiently applied it to all parts of our yard not including edibles. He said it would take about 3 days to see a difference and he was spot on. 4 days later, not an ant to be found. He assured us that if we found another ant he would come by for free of charge. About 3 weeks later we saw a few ants near a new part of the house and near our other neighbors pile of trash (surely the reason the ants were back). He came out as promised on his own time and sprayed again free of charge. I am not an expert on pest control pricing, but I found his price to be affordable based on my limited online research. And since he came back and did the whole thing again free of charge, I would say we got a hell of deal. Best of all, Adam is just a straight up super nice friendly guy. We will definitely be calling Adam the Pest Fighter first for any future pest problems! read more
