I've used Parker Eco's quarterly service for spider control for years now. When I first moved into…read moremy house I was seeing multiple spiders literally daily; now I see maybe one a month. I really appreciate their complimentary services outside of the quarterly ones if it's a particularly bad season for pests. Their technicians are great, and they try to send the same person every time, which I appreciate. My current tech, Kevin, really goes above and beyond. He noticed an area near my front door where rodents were potentially hiding, so he put down some wiring to protect the area without me asking. He also gives me at-home spider traps I can use and even disposes of them during his visits since it rather grosses me out to do so :) Also, during my most recent appointment, I was totally frazzled due to meetings happening at work, and I told Kevin to go ahead and spray my garage area, and that I'd close the garage door later when I could. What I discovered later is that Kevin actually closed the door himself without me asking, which just shows that he actually thinks about the customer and what's best for them. That defines good service. Finally, their customer service folks are also great. Whenever I've had to reschedule or have questions, they are always easy to get a hold of, prompt, and friendly. Parker Eco is the kind of company where you don't have to think too hard about using their services because they're really good at what they do. That lack of mental overhead makes it easy to recommend them!

The person who showed up was not with sound pest but was with Fikes. He spent all of 5 mins walking through my house and sprayed an aerosol can that costs I believe $29.99. He did not spray in under or around anything. This was also not the description of service that was provided to me through yelp. I called to complain immediately after. I have also called to talk to a Manager multiple times. They always state they will call me back and never do. It might have been a great company before it was sold but do not let the historical positive reviews fool you this is not under the same management as before. Go somewhere else for service.

Came to our home, I showed him where the issue was. He went in, destroyed the nest and took it out, and then treated with Deltadust, a formulation of deltamethrin. Finished the job in a half hour. We chose Super Attic Solutions based on their strong BBB rating, positive reviews, and the sales pitch that emphasized thorough follow‑up and post‑project support. We received three quotes for our attic and basement work; Super Attic Solutions was not the cheapest, but the promised inspections and customer care were the deciding factor for us. The crew that performed the work was respectful, efficient, and left the space clean. However, everything that happened after they left has been the opposite of what was promised. The sales rep assured us that an "inspector" would return a few weeks after completion to verify that: No rodents had re‑entered the home All work met code Any questions or concerns would be addressed He even mentioned a 6‑month follow‑up to ensure long‑term satisfaction. None of this happened. When I asked the project manager to walk the space with the crew, he was hesitant. I'm glad I insisted -- four ceiling lights were sealed incorrectly and left hanging an inch from the ceiling. I was told an "inspector" would come fix them, so the crew left and I was left with blue tape holding up my lights. A week later, our AC wouldn't shut off. I discovered the furnace (located in the attic) had been wrapped in insulation -- a fire hazard and not to code -- and no clear path had been left for HVAC access. When I called urgently, I was asked to send photos and then told a "supervisor with tons of experience" reviewed them and everything was fine. It wasn't. I had to pay an HVAC company to confirm the hazard, and only then was I told they might reimburse up to $500 because they didn't think they could send someone out. When the "inspector" finally arrived, they were not inspectors at all -- it was two members of the original crew. They fixed the lights (well no disrespect) and removed the insulation, from the furnace just laying on the air ducts. However, as we were communicating via technology translator, I could not get any answer to any questions and was told to call the office. Since then, I've left multiple messages through their AI system and sent two emails. I have given this company over 4 weeks to uphold the customer service they say they hold themselves to and I still haven't gotten a single phone call, let alone an "inspector" to look over the work, but they my check cashed. Bottom line: The initial work was fine, but the promised follow‑up and customer care simply do not exist. Once the crew leaves, you are on your own. With the summer coming, we asked the Attic Crew to reinspect our attic fan and advise on possibly adding more. The crew arrived on time, with all their equipment, discussed our project needs with us, then promptly carried out the inspection. The Attic Crew report was A) our equipment was running fine, and needed no additional service. B) considering the tight attic space, the current fans were sufficient and no more would be needed. Final result? NO CHARGE FOR THE INSPECTION AND RECOMMENDATIONS! We would ABSOLUTELY GO TO THE ATTIC CREW next time we need their services!!!

They're efficient and completely thorough. Shout out to the on-site project manager, Ricky Ricardo (yes, his real name, like the character from I Love Lucy, but he's a great sport about it) - who came early and stayed late to make sure we knew what was going on and were fully satisfied with the complete job, with a walkthrough and pictures of everything from end to end. Ricky is a guy who cares about a job done right and cares that the customers are completely comfortable, happy, and satisfied. Ricky came in before the crew started, walked us through how the job would go, made sure that all of our personal belongings were moved far away or protected by plastic throughout the garage and all the way through to the crawlspace access near the kitchen. The taped-up plastic "hallway" they created to prevent fiberglass and biohazard waste from leaking out into the house was going to block off part of the house, so Ricky made sure that we would have access to everything we needed, and offered to cut holes or coordinate crossings through as necessary. For the 3.5 years we've lived in this house I've been scared to even put my head down in the crawlspace, and by the end of the job I was ready to stand in there and take my own pictures of the space. Thankfully I didn't even have to take my own pictures, because Ricky organized sending me hundreds of before and after pictures from everyone on the crew. I have so many pictures now I could draw a pretty good map of my crawlspace without ever crawling through it. The price (spoiler: great!) Where other companies tried to quote for a smaller scope of work to keep costs within our budget, Attic Crew combined a completely thorough top-to-bottom job with guaranteed PSE rebates (as appropriate to our case) to meet our budget and then some. This was actually the best quote we got in two ways. First, this job was scoped to everything we wanted and more, no cutting corners. Second, it was the cheapest quote overall by about $500 thanks to PSE rebates that Attic Crew guarantees. Attic Crew takes care of the PSE rebates on their end, no paperwork for us. They included line items on the quote to show us how much we were saving from the rebates, but the sales rep, Tom, guaranteed me that even if they somehow don't qualify for the rebate from PSE, they will never charge that back to us. On top of that, they were quick to schedule the work only a week after we paid the deposit. The scope of work (extremely thorough): Removal of all old insulation and vapor barrier. Biohazard cleanout and sanitation. Crack sealing (foam, mesh, and/or cement as appropriate). Air sealing around any penetrations (vents, ducts, wires) into the house. Upgrade from 4" R-17 to 10" R-30 fiberglass insulation. Upgrade to 10-mil thickness vapor barrier. Replace dryer duct from flexible to rigid aluminum. The job was very thorough to improve our home efficiency and lock in the PSE rebates. As a bonus, they included cleanout of an abandoned rat's nest in a cabinet in the corner of the garage that the previous owner left us as a "gift" and we'd never had the equipment or PPE to properly deal with, and any rodent droppings found in the garage as well. Literally the only (very minor) issue we had was that we'd scheduled the quote on a day that turned out to be a Monday holiday. The communications were a little unclear referring to "tomorrow" rather than a specific date and ultimately they confirmed the appointment for the next business day. No harm done.

Upon arrival of technician, they discovered where the rats were coming from, but said he wont patch up the holes. Technician said we would have to hire another company for patchwork. So now we have to hire another company to patch the holes 2) a complete survey was not done. Technician didnt even go up stairs or in the attic. 3) the texts received from the company was offering a $130 off coupon if we hired them. Obviously some communication issues with the person texting and whom I called, because I already hired them. 4) so paid $500 for laying down a few traps. Not worth it. Would not recommend to any of my neighbors.

I pitched a project via Yelp to install cooling and replace the furnace to all of the most highly rated companies in the area. All of them recommended a heat pump as opposed to traditional AC. Better Air NW's proposal was not only the least expensive by a fair margin, but also offered the highest quality machines and best warranties. Normally, I'd be pretty skeptical at that combination, but all of the positive reviews on Yelp convinced me to accept their offer. A few days later, as I write this I'm basking in the warmth of my new heater. The installation was smooth, painless, and well done. Despite some unexpected challenges in the home's design to figure out and overcome, they charged exactly their estimate; there were none of the kind of headaches or scams that one often expects dealing with contractors. All in all, great experience, these folks deserve their lofty reputation.

Better Air NW was the only one who didn't give us pricing or a plan and the only one we had a negative experience with. During our in-person consultation, Jered focused on our HOA almost the entire time. Our HOA does have requirements in this area that we don't think are enforceable anymore, and in any case, that's our issue to sort out once a proposal is in place. We reassured Jered we would handle the HOA ourselves and wanted him to treat it like any other job: propose whatever setup his experience would call for and walk us through a plan and pricing. He kept coming back to the HOA anyway, and we struggled to get him to focus on the plan instead. He even told us one of the rooms was "impossible," and when we asked why, the answer was the HOA. It really felt like we were grasping at straws here. By the end of the consultation, our time had been wasted and we still didn't have any pricing or a plan. Later, he texted us that they couldn't do the job, without giving a reason. Since we never got one, we were left to guess: to us, the constant focus on the HOA came across as an easy way to pass on a job they didn't want to take on. No other contractor had trouble coming up with a proposal and pricing. Either way, our suggestion to Better Air NW is to be upfront.

The thing that really stood out though was that Jay was straightforward and honest in his assessment. I work on a lot of houses, so all the figures he gave for estimates were pretty much in line with what I would expect. Not too high, like he was selling me on a repair I didn't need. But also not underselling the cost of what needed to get done. To me, there's nothing more valuable then getting accurate information. Don't try and overinflate or udnerflate what costs will be. Just say it like it is and let me decide how to proceed. I will absolutely be using 4 Seasons for future Home Inspection work and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a home assessed.

The reports are exhaustive, and they provide lots of details on what's okay or not, and any action to be taken. No home is perfect, but we were able to purchase with a lot more confidence in what we were getting, which helps to take the stress down on a very very stressful time.

Titan conducted an inspection for the seller of the home I was interested in purchasing. Titan said…read morehome was in good shape, furnace was 0k and roof nearing end of life expectancy. Per report, roof was still OK, not needing new roof immediately. Titan never got onto roof, only used a drone. Thankfully, I got my own inspection with a different company before deciding to purchase home. My inspector, who did get on roof, discovered extensive damage to roof to include water leaking into attic in several places. This inspector noted that roof needs replacement immediately. This damage was never listed on Titan report. Also, furnace was not Ok. It had not been inspected for 2 years and needed to be replaced. In addition, Titan report never mentioned water under house and some repairs needed there. While Titan used pictures and report looked good, I would have bought a house that needed thousands of dollars in repairs had I relied on their report.

We have, in the past, signed up with a company for routine spraying for pests, particularly ants. They would come out every 90 days and spray and we would pay. We still had some issues with ants. Through a friend we heard about Pest Fighter and decided to call. Adam came out and sprayed. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and quick. He checked with us prior to spraying about what might be an eatable. The ants were gone and have not made a return visit. He also sprayed our basement when we had some electrical work completed and discovered LOTS of ants in the outside wall. A little later some squirrels decided that part of our front porch would be a very nice place to raise a family. Adam blocked off where they had nested and they have not been back. And then, like there hasn't been enough..., we had bats hanging out against the chimney on the north side of the house. He climbed up two stories on a ladder and meshed off both sides of the chimney. No more bats. Things were going so well that when the neighborhood moles decided that our yard looked yummy I again called Adam. No more moles! Over the week end my daughter heard "rats." I went to the attic to check, and saw nothing. Sunday night I heard them also, and knew it was better to call some one. I was extremely pleased, and impressed with the approach Adam took. He said and did all the right things. He checked the perimeter, screened any area that looked even the slightest bit suspect, then laid the traps. In a matter of less than an hour Adam had completed what would have taken me a day to do. We had Pest Fighter come out to rid our new home of Spiders. We received a quote from Orkin (with specials), it actually cost less. We decided to use a local company-- to support local Federal Way businesses. Because of a great job, we decided to hire Garrett and Pest Fighter to spray for us quarterly. Adam did a great job getting rid of a rat problem for us this winter. He didn't go the easy route, he thoroughly examined our house, found the entry points, closed them off, then went to work on the rats (traps, no poison). At the same time, he didn't oversell unnecessary procedures. We are very happy with the work and follow up. My impression is that Adam works hard and takes his job seriously. Kind of embarassing to divulge, but we had a persistent rodent problem at one of our properties. I needed a solution without unsightly rodent traps visible or exposed for all to see. My roommates and i discovered that we had bed bugs and rats in our apartment. we called 2 other pest control company's and they came and went but we still had both bed bugs and rats resurface in our apartment. we ended up calling another exterminator, pest fighter and when we called we were able to set up an appointment fast he worked with my schedule and all my roommates schedules. Adam came through for me on very short notice. I had a bunch of small bugs in my home, which we discovered had made a home in some of my dry goods. He found the source, disposed of the infested dry goods, and then sprayed the area down. Friendly and efficient. We discovered yellow jackets were making a home in our attic when we woke up to windows covered with these flying pests who were drawn to the light on the dark mornings. I've used Pest Fighter for the past 3 years to combat spiders around my house. The first year we had an infestation of spiders that we could not get rid of ourselves. This morning Garrett dropped by to my apartment for bed bugs. He was very thorough with the inspection despite the fact that I don't have a large unit. Adam's Pest Fighter crew did a great job finding the rodents' entry holes into our basement and sealing them. They also cleaned up and eliminated the persistent odors emanating from the rodents nest and removed all traces. Finally, they deodorized the area. The guys were very professional and courteous. I found Pest Fighter from Home Advisor. They called within an hour to see about coming out to take a look at the starlings that kept invading my crawl space/attic. They came out and within an hour installed hardware cloth over 8 attic vents. They even gave me a 5 year warranty!! The price was reasonable for the work done! Adam came out back in April to spray for the tiny house ants. He sprayed once throughout the house even though the issue was in the basement and that took care of the problem. I haven't seen another ant. He was easy to work with and accommodated my schedule. My kids loved that he brought his cute dog along (not in the house). read more

No real problems or issues and they have good customer service when we've rarely had to call their office. We don't actively have any major invasive pest problems so we use this company for exterior preventive protection. The come by on a monthly or quarterly basis depending on the contract and check on the bait stations and spray the exterior grounds next to the buildings. We like their report that is available after each visit which itemizes details of each bait station serviced and recommendations for preventative steps we can take to minimize unwanted pests (mainly rodents in this area). This company says they've been around since 1921 so that's pretty good.

Additionally, getting a hold of anyone on the phone is impossible these days. No one calls you back when you request it. Instead 2 days later you get an email claiming they couldn't get ahold of you or leave a message (cell shows no missed calls, voicemail is not full). I'm so disappointed I ever paid this company. Total rip off and want to make sure my neighbors don't get taken advantage of either. Best of luck to you with your pest problems! But this place is no solution.

No notification until I received email from agency. I reported business to BBB for poor business practices & also filed complaint against collections agency with State of WA and Federal Agency based on required notification steps. No apology from United Pest - I even referred them to next door neighbor and will encourage them to cancel service. Avoid this business.
