I don't usually write reviews like this, but in this situation I felt a review was warranted. I called Pest Fighter on a Saturday and left a message. Shortly after that I received a text message response asking for my full name, address, and email so that they could enter my information into the computer. That struck me as odd, but given the situation I was facing, I gave them the requested information. After that they told me that the earliest they could talk to me was Monday at either 9:00 AM or 4:00 PM. It was unfortunate to have to wait two days just to talk to someone, but I assumed they must have been very busy. We scheduled an appointment for 9:00 AM Monday morning over text. However, when 9:00 AM came around I didn't hear from anyone. I tried calling the number that had texted me, but it went to voicemail. I tried calling the main number I had called on Saturday, and it also went to voicemail. After nearly an hour of waiting, I texted the number explaining that I had to go into a meeting at 10:00 AM and asked if we could reschedule for the 4:00 PM time slot. At 9:57 AM, the person responded saying they were "just getting ready to call", but that we could talk at 4:00 PM instead. Now imagine my surprise when the person from Pest Fighter tried calling me at 3:37 PM. Then again at 3:40 PM. And then texts me at 3:44 PM asking why I was not answering. I responded to the text immediately, explaining that I was in a meeting until 4:00 PM. I asked them to call me at 4:00 PM, like we had agreed on previously. After that message I never received another text from them. When I called shortly after 4:00 PM, my calls went to voicemail. To this day, I have never received a response from anyone at Pest Fighter. No texts, no calls, nothing. I debated posting this review. Maybe Pest Fighters provides good service if you can actually talk to someone, but I wouldn't know. After playing an unprofessional game of phone tag, I contacted another service who was not only able to talk to me, but who was also able to make it out to my house at the time they said they would. read more

We've used Pest Fighter for rodents in the house and sugar ants - both services have been great. the rodents were handled and we had them clean out and repair crawl space - with no reoccurrences in over a year! sugar ants are harmless but annoying so we had Adam's team come spray inside and out and everyone was very respectful and informative about what chemicals were being used. we have toddlers and pets and are very happy! read more

Over the weekend we discovered that we had a hornet nest inside of our walls. In spite of companies that advertise 24/7 service we didn't get call backs from any of them. We have had a service contract with another company for many years, but when my wife called them Monday morning the earliest they could see us was in a week. After reading some review on Yelp, I requested a quote from them. I didn't realize that my information would be sent to other companies as well. Pest Fighter was one of the first to respond on Monday morning and the only one who could come out on Monday. Alex showed up on time and promptly took care of the hornets. My wife & I were impressed with how quickly our problem was solved that we entered into a service agreement with Pest Fighter. Maybe you can put this in the "you can't afford to pay too little" column. I used them for a few years when I decided I want to go with a local company instead of a big national chain. For the regular service where you set-it-and-forget-it, they were fine. And when they did do the work, they did a passable job. I don't want to go full Karen on them, so I won't list all my complaints. They are nice people and I'd like to give them three stars, but three stars means "A-OK" and it wasn't A-OK. When we needed them they weren't consistently responsive or available, and it was a hassle to work with them. I switched to a company that charged a little more, but is considerably more responsive and has better systems in place. It's worth it to me. read more

Nassim showed up during the promised window of time and we found him to an awesome professional who was pleasant to interact with. He very quickly identified the access to the attic and signs of the animals who had set up camp in our home. He took photographs that showed the intruder's point of entry and advised of remedies. He then surveyed the house perimeter to reinforce his conclusions regarding point of entry and then followed by sealing the opening and setting traps. He set us up with a fixed-price contract that included weekly visits until the problem was fixed and also offered to trim the branches of a tree in our yard that was enabling the access for rodents to our roof. All of this, for the original price Asha, their scheduler, roughly estimated during the initial call which was significantly lower than the estimate provided by a well-reviewed competitor who did not even identify the existence of our attic. I arranged for an pest inspection (rat problem) at a cost of $195, with the expectation that I would retain their services and the $195 would then be applied to the cost to contain the pest problem. The inspection went as planned, and the inspector was very nice. He gave me a quote of over $1,000 to address the issue. I scheduled the follow up appointment to complete the $1,000+ worth of work and due to snow, we had to cancel. I tried to reschedule, but got no reply to my request. As a customer, I should not have to track down the vendor to reschedule. So I moved on to another service provider who gave me a free inspection and is only charging me $300 to set rat traps in the attic and a external sun room, cover existing holes made by the rodents around the external perimeter to the house with screens, set 5 external pet/kid friendly traps around the perimeter of the house and he comes back to empty the traps. Glad I did not pay Pest Fighter over a grand, when there are other providers who can do the work for a third of the cost. read more

Woodpecker type bird was going to town on the corner of our roof where the joins we're not sealed. Dude came out the next day we called and put wire mesh to cover the holes. Additionally, he installed a deterrent that made has kept that shit bird away ever since. Man, that bird was annoying!! I used this company's services several times over the course of a year. I first contacted them last year when I had rats and ants. They came by to resolve the rat issue and had to seal off the space the rats were entering through my sewer connection. They also sealed off the 3 townhouses from each other, so the rats couldn't get between units. Their service involved several follow-up visits to ensure that that rats were actually gone. Regarding their ant service, they sprayed inside and outside my unit to kill all the ants. This finally rid us of the ants that we had been dealing with for years. They had become resistant to the ant poison we were using. The people who work at this company were always very nice. The technician I worked with could have been a bit more prompt with his appointment arrival times a couple of times, but he generally had reasonable excuses for why he was late. read more

This morning Garrett dropped by to assess our rodent problem. He was very thorough with the inspection as he checked the outside surroundings, attic and crawl space. The crawl space had a lot of activity and the insulation was compromised so Garrett helped us set an appointment with the insulation guys, which made everything stress-free. He sealed up 2 potential holes and set up a bunch of traps. Garrett was very knowledgeable with our situation and he gave us a lot of advice on what to do to help get rid of the problem. Fighting rodents is a group effort and there was a lot of things my family could do to help with the impact (cutting off any food source, removing clutter, monitor places that the rodents have been before to see if there's any new activity such as droppings). I look forward to our next 2 visits and seeing the impact. Having rodents in your house is a scary thing but Garrett reassured us that with the proper precautions and measures, the rodents will be gone in no time. I will be updating this review as time goes, as well as report any changes that occur. As of now, I'm feeling really optimistic that my house will be rodent-free before winter comes. read more

I have been a happy customer of Pest Fighters for over 5 years now. They are always quick with scheduling as well as performing the service. Primarily interesting getting rid of spiders, Adam sprays our single family home both inside and out. Adam uses a mild solution that is friendly to humans and fury friends. We have 2 long hair cats; the indoor treatment has never been an issue for us and dries up within an hour or two, invisible. The treatments have been very effective, typically lasting almost a year. We don't see a single spider! It's amazing! Once we do see one, we call back up and get another round going. Adam has performed additional treatment for slugs and moles at our property. The slugs was pretty straightforward and worked immediately. The moles are a bit more complex since our neighborhood/street seems to have an infestation. We were motivated to protect our yard/lawn and displace them somewhere else. This required a few additional treatments due to the nature of the problem, but we were happy with the results. The company was very communicative and sent Garrett out quickly to check our attic for rats. He was really punctual and personable. He found the source of their entrance and clearly explained what actions we needed to take (cut a lilac tree that was against the house and was being used as a rat highway. He set traps and came back to check them twice. We haven't seen evidence of rats in the attic since. Garrett also recently came out to help us deal with ground rats in a garden in front of our house by thoroughly examining the nest, sealing off the entrance, and explaining what steps we need to take to check the sewer. Unfortunately if you live in Seattle you might deal with rats, but these guys are great at helping you keep them away. read more

Well I never thought I would have to deal with bed bugs. I was wrong. Seems they're the one thing thriving in 2020!! I was frantically looking for someone I could get to exterminate them after being told by my apartment complex their exterminator couldn't come for another week.... so I stumble upon these guys thanks to Yelp reviews. I called at 7pm and had someone out the next morning. Super friendly and kind guy named Garrett! He made me feel better about the situation. Assured me there wasn't anything I could have done to keep this from happening. Just another blow from 2020! He was extremely helpful all the way to offering me his industrial sized garbage bags. I misunderstood the information from the night before and had NOTHING bagged. Just all our clothes on the floor!! For some reason I thought they said leave the clothes out of the drawers. Anyways, he was super patient and answered the millions of questions I had! I'm not sure what the regular cost of this service is, but they were even less than what my complex quoted me! Just an update that after 6 months of now of working with Pest Fighter, the ant problem continues to be abated. Also, after purchasing a new appliance a few months ago, I found an unknown bug (not a local species) living inside. They were able to identify it for me and provide the proper course of action (which didn't involve any additional service costs - I just needed to keep the box outdoors - which seemed to have worked). We started using pestfighter for treating ants. That worked so started using their services for the other things like rodents. In a few months time every month there was some random bill generated for maintainance, when they did not even show up for it. Some charges worth 300 was duplicate which they said they would refund, but billing is ridiculously disconnected from the guy who handles the customers over phone which they pick up or call back once after 10 calls. That refund never came back. On top of it the rodents never went away. Personally i would never recommend them to any other person. I really reallly liked Adam. He went above and beyond to get rid of bedbugs in our rental property. He came at the end of a long day for him more than once !! so that he could service us and was so thorough it was just beyond expectation. He stands behind his work and will do anything to make it right. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for unclear communication. Adam's tremendous work ethic and desire to please people (both personally and professionally) is what I believe caused him to run late with us and to under communicate. If you're ok with that and are willing to be flexible, then Adam and Pest Fighter are great. If you're on a tight schedule or expect immediate clear answers, maybe not. That being said, I'd call Adam next time for any pest problem and happily deal with the communication frustration because I know ultimately he'll stand behind his work and do a great job. read more
