Had an in-depth and very helpful discussion with whomever answered the phone. Agreed to set up regular service. The first service included a full home inspection, which was scheduled about 6 or so weeks out for today. I did not receive a confirmation of the appointment so telephoned the office this morning. The company has no record of me. Instead of apologizing for an unfortunate error, the person who answered the phone blamed me, saying I probably booked with another company and didn't remember. There was no offer to try again, in large part because the person did not know what services are offered. read more

I've used Parker Eco's quarterly service for spider control for years now. When I first moved into my house I was seeing multiple spiders literally daily; now I see maybe one a month. I really appreciate their complimentary services outside of the quarterly ones if it's a particularly bad season for pests. Their technicians are great, and they try to send the same person every time, which I appreciate. My current tech, Kevin, really goes above and beyond. He noticed an area near my front door where rodents were potentially hiding, so he put down some wiring to protect the area without me asking. He also gives me at-home spider traps I can use and even disposes of them during his visits since it rather grosses me out to do so :) Also, during my most recent appointment, I was totally frazzled due to meetings happening at work, and I told Kevin to go ahead and spray my garage area, and that I'd close the garage door later when I could. What I discovered later is that Kevin actually closed the door himself without me asking, which just shows that he actually thinks about the customer and what's best for them. That defines good service. Finally, their customer service folks are also great. Whenever I've had to reschedule or have questions, they are always easy to get a hold of, prompt, and friendly. Parker Eco is the kind of company where you don't have to think too hard about using their services because they're really good at what they do. We have been using their service for a couple of years and this year they totally drop the ball. We have a confirmation of our appointment that THEY never showed up. When called to rebook, they got us a new appointment and again DID NOT SHOW UP. Was told a supervisor was going to contact us and never did. Service quality went down a cliff after they were acquired by Eastside Exterminators. We have been customers of Parker for a few years. We had spider service in this Apr and right after service we noticed a big spider and web still hanging outside of our window. The technician missed it. I sent emails to the customer service about it, received no reply for weeks. We paid $300 for this. Would not use them again. read more

Since then, they have missed an appointment (similar to a previous Yelp review here), not followed up when they said they would. Additionally, my last treatments have not helped/worsened my ants. My partner and I just moved into Shoreline and have had Parker Eco out twice for ant control. The neighbors told us the ants in the neighborhood are really bad and that they've never quite been able to get rid of them.... But after two visits, the ants are almost completely out of our house and our yard. Beyond providing great service at the house, both guys we had out were knowledgeable, professional, and gave great guidance for how we can help prevent the ants, as well (avoiding certain kinds of baits, not leaving food in certain areas, keeping up on landscaping near the house, etc). I have had a great experience with them! I originally had them out after hearing some noises under the house, and they were able to come very quickly. I was concerned about methods being used since I have small dogs, but Parker Eco ensured me that all methods they use for pests are pet safe! It was reassuring to be able to hear about all of their pest control methods. They came out as many times I needed them to under a set price, and kept coming until the job was done. They even came out once for free after the service when I heard from our AC guy that he might have seen a mouse! I now get quarterly service from them and it is super easy to schedule and coordinate. I love that they are a family company with eco friendly values, but still really get the job done! Highly recommend them to everyone within their service area. EDIT/UPDATE 2: Chris from Parker Eco Pest Control came back out to my property and worked quickly to resolve my concerns from the initial job OVER A YEAR AGO! If that's not good customer service, I don't know what is. Updated to 5* EDIT/UPDATE 1: I spoke with co-owner Wesley on the phone and despite the fact that the work was completed over a year ago, that Parker Eco was still willing to make it right. I initially hadn't expected anything to come of a review because I just wanted to document some of the work I had done on my home, but now I have a re-visit scheduled and hopefully get my issues resolved. Thank you Wesley and Chris for hearing me out! --- I don't usually speak up on reviews for smaller jobs, but this one felt a little necessary. The job was inspection and securing areas that might be susceptible for critters to get inside our roof and other areas of our house. While the Parker employee did an inspection and gave us some fine feedback about potential areas of concern, it was the quality of the labor that came after that created an issue for me. They used the expanding black foam to fill many of the spots that they pointed out, but after they were finished, it became clear to me that the job was not neat, either that or the cleanup was non-existent. Lots of black spray foam drips along the house and excess foam sticking out of corners, such as outside of the front porch. Seems to me it was a "quick" job and not worth much effort. read more

These people are the best. I mean, THE BEST! We've been using their service for years. They originally came out and did a thorough inspection, and then gave a recommendation for service that ended up being every 3 months. Most places would say they have to come out monthly but because they didn't find a problem they said that would be overkill. That's already had me hooked. Over the years we get the friendliest service techs who come out on time, service our building, then report their findings. Then we get a follow up email from the office crew with an inspection report and a follow up appointment reminder. They're super easy to work with and I've never had an issue. Tino from Parker Eco Pest Control did an awesome job for us! We heard some noises coming from our attic that sounded like a good sized animal. We called Parker because they were recommended by a neighbor. On the day of the appointment, they sent a text with an update of when they would arrive. (This was super helpful so we weren't waiting around all day). Tino was professional, friendly and helpful. He did a thorough inspection of the attic and house perimeter. And even though it was extremely hot that day, he never complained about uncomfortable heat in the attic. I was worried that he would try to upsell his services, but he actually thought that the popular 3 visit service would be overdoing it for our situation. He recommended a different service that was more cost effective and better suited for our needs. That's a big green flag. That same day, Tino was able to set traps and secure all of our attic gaps with wire meshing. He stayed to answer all of our questions and gave tips to prevent any future issues. We just started the quarterly plan for insects with Parker Eco Pest Control, and so far, it has been worth it! We really appreciate them. The customer service while we were booking the appointment was amazing, and the customer service representative was very kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer my questions. We had a silverfish and house ants issue out of nowhere. Parker came to save the day. Eleanor came out and did a thorough assessment and sprayed the interior and exterior of our home and gave us after treatment instructions, precautions, etc. Eleanor's treatments have seemed to resolve the issue so far. Not very helpful at all, keep saying that a technician discussed with me regarding the treatment plan for my rodent problem. The technician didn't discuss anything with me. I was cleaning up dead leaves when I found a nest of tiny wasps. I didn't even know they existed! Seeing the Parker web page, I left them a message and in less than a day, I had an appointment for the following morning. Kevin came with all the right equipment and cleaned them out in 20 minutes. He answered all my questions and reminded me to call if any more of them show up. That's free for 45 days! We discovered what we thought was a nest of wasps in some bushes, right by the front steps to our home. Our previous attempts to get rid of the wasps were unsuccessful. Based on the number of positive reviews, we decided to contact Parker Pest Control. Their response to my initial request for information was immediate, plus, we were able to be scheduled right away. Kevin, the very nice technician, took the time to explain what the treatment entailed; he also pointed out several areas where he saw the beginnings of new nests that we didn't even notice until then. I've paid for their 3 visit plan for rodent control twice, but even after two times, I was still hearing activity in one particular spot of the house at night. When I called back to see if they would come back to address the issue, the person who answered the phone was really apprehensive in them coming out again to take a look and insisted that they would only do a free inspection, but if any work was needed, I would be charged again. I was a bit peeved at this since the previous 2 techs that came out insisted that my house was perfectly sealed already and only sealed minor spots so I'm not sure they really did a good job if the rodents kept finding their way back. Luckily, the person that came back to do the inspection was Chris, the owner and he basically agreed to do the whole 3 visit plan with me again, free of charge. Thank you for honoring your brand and promise. Since his last exclusion work, I've heard noise maybe one more time (it's been a transient pest) and I haven't reached back out, but if it happens again, I hope they would give me similar service. Ants decided to invade my kitchen. I got some terrible little chemical bait traps, but they didn't help, and I was constantly worried about the pets interacting with them. They refunded my payment for the inspection, the owner offered to do a personal re-inspection himself, and they asked for feedback and more information about what happened. This is obviously a very good and honest company. Mistakes happen, bad experiences happen, and it's how people deal with those that matter. I'm grateful for the attentive response and I am now in the process of working out next steps with them. I will very likely hire them for other services in the future to give it another try next time we need anything. Original Review: I really wish I could say that I had the positive experience that others here had. I read all the positive reviews before booking a rodent inspection with Eco and was optimistic about the service. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with a professional service. It sounds like Eco does great work with other offerings, but the "inspection" didn't feel like an inspection at all, and I was a bit confused afterwards--but maybe I didn't fully understand what I was signing up for. I honestly felt like I fell for a scam. I know that sounds extreme, and of course I'm confident that it's not supposed to be a scam, but the "inspection" itself provided no value at all. My wife and I just bought an old house that came with rat traps around the perimeter and in the crawl spaces. The past owners say that they haven't had any problems for years even though the traps are still there from a past issue. We figured we'd get a professional to come tell us if the problem is truly gone or if there's current activity. The inspector came, looked around for a few minutes, then immediately tried to sell me their ongoing subscription treatment package upsell. He didn't provide any information at all about any rats, whether or not there's activity and where, if there are any risks or entry points, etc. I thought that that information was what I was paying for, but again, perhaps I had the wrong expectations. The point of getting a house inspection, for example, is to get informed so you can make decisions about what needs to get done or not. I thought the rodent inspection would be the same, and what I read on the Eco website seemed to align with this--that's why I booked them. I told the inspector, "no thanks, we just wanted the inspection for now to understand the problem before signing up for any treatment." He essentially just said, "okay" and left. I was left confused about what just happened and disappointed that I didn't have any new information about whether our house has rat activity or risks of any rodent issues. They solved our pest issues. I will spare you the photos. But for anyone who has had to deal with this stuff, you feel my pain. These things can be such a problem. I called Parker once we exhausted all the DIY strategies. There was some mixup regarding the number of visits. But we communicated it, had a discussion and resolved things. They fixed our pest issue. But it is a process and it is very important to stay on top of little messes, clean dishes everyday and properly store food in containers when possible. You also want to make sure there are no entries into your home for the pests to get into. The personnel at Parker are also very passionate and knowledgeable about pests. It's amazing what they know. Trust them but also learn and ask questions on what you can do to prevent these issues long term. read more

Great experience from scheduling to results. I opted for a one-time treatment of ants that plagued my kitchen. In addition to the spray treatment, I was given some liquid ant poison to place on paper disks as added precaution. As predicted by the technician (thank you Daniel for your professionalism and courtesy), they were gone after about 2 weeks. I love Parker Eco Pest Control! We used them for both a significant ant problem and a rat issue and they helped us cure the problems. Nick was super knowledgeable and friendly. I was looking for a way to curb the rat population that didn't involve killing them and they offer a "rat birth control" option. It's an investment of time and money using this process, but to me it was worth it to deal with the population humanely. It was easy to contact them and the operator was very thorough in their explanations of pricing, services, and answering all my questions. They were also able to send someone out within a day or two which was helpful. I've changed my previous review to five star (well-deserved), and I'm very happy with Parker eco-pest control. Which is so smart, because I want one company for all my properties, and I want to keep annual servicing and stick with one company for good! The first service I got was from Isaiah, and he did an awesome job. The second quarter I think we had a new person, and they use bait which only invited more sugar ants into our house. We had switched from another pest control company to Parker almost exactly a year ago because sugar ants started showing up inside the house. We had tried doing what we could find on Google but wasn't able to keep the ants away completely. When the first technician showed up, he was able to explain the process, chose the appropriate products for interior based on our concerns of having 3 dogs, and meticulously covered every possible place ants could enter the problem areas. He treated the outside also, and ants did not return for a while. We signed up for quarterly service, and eventually changed to monthly after we found out he could help us remove spider webs in the exterior. The technician was the best we've had in the 6 years that we had various pest control companies on contract. That was a 5 star service. Fast forward to late last year, we were seeing ants again and it's time to treat. New technician came, pet my dogs at the door, I briefly went over our issues with him, and he proceeded to SPRAY chemicals at our cabinets where prior technician had applied gel underneath and in the cracks so my pets could be safe. All this was in his notes. When I saw that I stopped him and he said ooops, I probably should have checked with you first. People made mistakes so I let that go. We continued to have ants problems and he had to return several more times. At the end of last time, he said the owner said to tell me to go get products from Home Depot if ants keep showing up, even though their contract has service guarantee. That's also after he briefly took down spider webs from main floor exterior and when I politely asked him to please clean the eve of the deck, he was visibly not pleased. At the end of the day, it's always the people who does the job who makes a difference. If they had told me that our monthly service only allows X minutes of cobweb cleaning, and my house requires Y minutes and would cost more, I would gladly pay it. I guess we are taking their advice at this point to go use home depot product and not have to use their service anymore. read more

I have used Parker's for about three years: first spiders, then rodents, and an occasional bought of ants. They've been extremely responsive to help in all of these areas as part of a reasonable quarterly fee. Sometimes it's just quarterly check-ins and service, some time is an involved adventure remediating an active problem. I know and trust that Chris and his team will get the problem solved and keep checking on it afterwards. Occasionally folks come door to door selling pest services, and my message is the same - we have no interest in changing up Parker's. read more
