David from the Seattle area group came out and fixed the issue. However, I paid for them to come back and check for the next year and they now no longer answer their phones. I think the local guys are an independent part of a larger company. Just because reviews are good in one city does not mean they are going to be good in your city. read more

David and his team did a wonderful job. I had done some research for my rodent problem and had several estimates. David explained everything and guided me through the steps and the type of material they use for rodent exclusion - wire mesh and concrete. The other places use wire mesh and foam. My rodent was able to chew on several things so I knew the foam wouldn't cut it. They came out and worked on my house for over 5 hours. David walked around with his team and showed them areas and they dispersed and took care of various areas of the home. My friend and I also showed them areas and they also took care of them. David and his team didn't appear to mind that we asked them to check certain areas. In the end, David also double checked the areas from his initial review to assure they were taken care of. They were a great team that worked well together and had great smiles. They also vacuumed and did several sanitation sprays in the crawl spaces and wherever I saw the rat. The price was high according to others that I spoke with but I am happy so far from what I saw and experienced. It gave me peace of mind. The charge did not increase based on how many or how big were the holes. So no surprise charges. One company told me the holes they block range from $20 to $100 per hole depending on the size and material they use. David and his team also photograph before and after pictures which was helpful and you can ask to see them too. Hopefully the rodent or rodents will be gone. There will be someone coming to check every couple of weeks and sanitize each time they check. Again, David and his team did a great job and they respected us, the customers and each other. They explained when asked and were kind and respectful. I say, do your research, ask around but definitely give Ocal a consideration as one of your estimators. Disclaimer - review subject to change but for now, I'm happy. read more

Gabe at Ocal is excellent to work with! Currently have a rodent problem in my ceiling and, after explaining all the details of my issue and area layout, was extremely happy with Gabe's transparency, education, and honesty on expectations with price, timeframe, and resolution expectancy. I haven't hired them yet, but my experience with Gabe on this initial call just set high standards and superb professionalism if we were to move forward with them. Professional at what he does with tons of experience. Highly recommended pest control service! read more

When the company was OCAL, they were great. Unfortunately, the owners moved out of state and Epic Pest control took over. I've scheduled visits for vermin in our attic, and have to always call back to make sure someone visits. They showed up for our quarterly service unannounced, when usually OCAL they confirm availability. I do not recommend. read more

These guys have been taking care of me since they bought the business from the previous owner. Always on time and easy to deal with. So far they've done really good by me and I'd recommend them. read more

So about 3-4 years ago, we began having a problem with German Cockroaches. They were infesting our kitchen and it was slowly spreading to the dining room and our guest bathroom. We keep a fairly clean house and we couldn't for the life of us figure out where it was coming from and why we had it. We wanted a solution, but didn't want to pay a long-term monthly contract for a place to keep coming out over and over again. We weren't made of money afterall! We tried battling it ourselves for about a year. We tried evacuating the house and "Bug bombing" it.. followed by roach traps everywhere. Nothing worked long term. So about 18 months ago I had my wife call around and she came across Ocal. They answered all of our questions and offered both one-time and subscription pest services. Gabe came out and inspected what was going on. Upon inspection, he informed us that the infestation probably was due to a piece of furniture or something that was brought in externally years ago that had bugs in it. He originally quoted us a price of $325.. with the possibility of $375 if the infestation was big enough. As it turns out, he charged us $375...which I felt was a fair price...if it worked. He used a particular kind of food bait and secreted it in all the problem areas we had pointed out to him. He stated that it would take approx 3 treatments, 2 weeks apart; and gave a 90 day guarantee with additional visits for free during that time if needed. The results, even after just the first treatment, were astounding. Merely a week after the first treatment we saw a vast reduction in activity. After the 3rd treatment was done, we asked him to come out one additional time because we thought we noticed some activity. Last summer was the true test of if it worked or not, as insect activity tends to increase in warm weather. I'm happy to say we were BUG FREE and have been since then. Such a relief! I must admit, Gabe was pretty confident that his treatments would work; and I was a bit skeptical. But he really came through for us. I highly recommend Ocal Pest Control. They were friendly and professional and took care of our problem as promised, and there prices were very reasonable. It doesn't get any better than that! read more

The service was great. They were about to come out the next day to spray for my random ant invasion. They also followed up to make sure my problem was taken care of. Which it was. Would definitely recommend. read more

I'm a big fan of Gabe and OCal Pest Control. First excellent knowledge of their business, much more than most pest control companies. They know the laws and they know what they're supposed to do. This is very important which I can tell you as a lawyer. Secondly they are very Quick to respond to a question or to set up an appointment. Third they are very competitive in their pricing. Fourth, they are very willing to work with you and they have a heart. I cannot recommend more highly this company. If there were more stars I would give Gabe a 10. Thank you so much Gabe. read more

I didn't go with this company but when I got a quote they were $40-$50 MORE EACH MONTH than other places. That's a lot for all the same services. read more

I've had problems with ants and spiders inside and outside my home, so I had Ocal come out to spray my home. A few weeks later I was still seeing the random spider so they came back out and took care of my problem the same day. I highly recommend their services. Not only are the services effective but they are prompt and polite. I decided to try them because of all the great reviews I saw on yelp and I'm very happy with the results. I'll gladly recommend them to others. read more

Had a really bad ant and spider problem in our kitchen. Brandon was sent to help and that same day he sprayed and worked in the kitchen the ants were gone a few hours after he left! We decided to do the quarterly service since they can come in between if we needed them to and I'm glad we did cause a few days later we saw spiders and they happily came down to spray! Really happy with there service. Brandon and Gabe are really professional and know what they're doing! I'd definitely recommend them to my family and friends! Awesome service! We needed our lawn sprayed for roaches ASAP. I had been in contact with another local company that could not seem to make an appointment. Luckily, minutes after I contacted Ocal, they were able to send out a specialist. He came and was very professional and quick. The whole thing was completed before noon on Monday. Very happy with service and will be using in future! read more

Gab is awesome and delivers great customer service. We didn't even hesitate in signing up with his company. We scheduled a date and Bryan came out, was professional and did a good job. They even wear booties to protect our home from any potential mess from their shoes.. this was awesome because we don't wear shoes inside the house. We will recommend them any day. Thank you Ocal Pest Control! read more

I spoke to Gabriel at OCAL Pest Control and expressed my fear of a rodent infestation in my attic. Considering the fact that I have never used a pest control service and my fear of admitting that I had this problem, that was indeed a bold move. Gabriel kindly took my call and exuded such confidence that I felt immediately assured that this would not be an issue for long. he set an appointment and respected my time by being punctual. What took me off balance was the professionalism he exhibited through out his visit. he relaxed my wife and I, was respectful of our house by wearing gear that would prevent him from taking dirt through our home, talked us through what processes he went through in his search for the rodents and their entry point. By the time he was done I was ready to give up my career and apply within lol. Am sure its needless to state that we are all set and are happy campers. I rarely write reviews, but sometimes someone's conduct, actions or professionalism so impresses you that you just need to vocalize or share it. I have already recommended Gabriel and OCAL Pest Control to my friends and will continue to recommend him to any one that wants prompt, professional and courteous services of this nature. read more

Called Ocal to help rid my home of German cockroaches. They were very easy to work with and texted me when I was at work and unable to answer the phone. From the minute I contacted this company on yelp for an estimate to the technician coming out was a great experience. I couldn't be happier with Ocal Pest Control! This company goes above and beyond for their customers. I recommend them to anyone in need of pest control. They can get rid of your problem fast and for a competetive price. Thank you Ocal! read more

We came home to find a swarm of what looked like either ants or termites on the side of our garage. Totally freaked out, I called Ocal and they were so amazing. They had me send a picture of the bug and confirmed they were just ants. Since my husband already sprayed and killed them, they said there wasn't a need to come out and I would be good. The fact that they were so helpful and didn't even make up a reason to come for a service call is why I will only call them for any pest issues. Thank you guys! read more

Quick, friendly, did a great job! I will definitely use them again and will recommend their service. I had an infestation in a new home of carpet beetles, I contacted them in the evening and they came out first thing in the morning. Reasonably priced. read more

We called Gabe on Saturday for pest control and had an appointment for Monday Morning 9am. Great service, made great suggestions for pest control. We live near a golf course, and all of the suggestions were appropriate for our space. He started that day and took one hour. Our initial service was $149, we saw results immediately. Thank you very much for fast, friendly, professional service. We highly recommend. read more

As a first time home owner, I must admit I was pretty clueless as what to expect regarding the use of a pest control company. As anyone else seeking a service, I read all reviews on YELP. They were all true. Gabriel was extremely professional and personal on making me feel accommodated. I was pleased with his patience...I had the gentleman repeat numerous of times what my issue was in order to get it. He took his time, provided pictures as what was taking occupancy inside my acctic...rent free at that. All I can say is that I have resumed in getting rest with a piece of mind associated with a Warranty. Thanks Gabriel. read more

We had Gabriel out to our home this morning to help us with a mouse problem, and he was amazing. When he arrived, he put on boot covers prior to entering our home, greeted us with a smile, and completed a full inspection of our home and garage. We needed an excellent pest control company in the Inland Empire. As usual, I start checking the Yelp ratings of pest control companies. Ocal Pest Control had outstanding review, which I noticed immediately. I contacted Gabe at Ocal to get a good idea what his scope of work was. We had a black widow spider, ants and other small spider problem at my rental house. Within a week of my call to Gabe, everything was taken care of! He seemed extremely knowledgeable and took care of the pests quickly. My tenant, who coordinated the work, was very happy that Gabe took the time to explain what he was doing. My tenant was also pleased that Gabe would return to eliminate any remaining pests by just calling him. Ocal Pest Control did a wonderful job at my rental house. We look forward to working with Gabe on an annual basis to ensure that my tenant is happy and that the black widows don't scare her and her daughter. Thanks Gabe! read more

We had a HUGE rodent problem on the property and it was out of control! I looked here on Yelp and found the great reviews and gave OCAL and a few others a call. OCAL had the lowest price quote plus Gabe seemed really enthusiastic about tackling such a large job, so we gave him a try...and I'm so glad we did. Gabe is awesome! I'll admit, we were skeptical at first because there were so many, but he was very confident in his work. He would always call us in between visits to make sure everything was okay, and I am happy to report that in a short time the problem was resolved. Gabe is very professional, but also caring and sympathetic to your situation. It's really hard to put into words how great this man is. You can tell he truly loves what he does! read more

We are so thankful that Gabe is our Pest Technician. We have had him for almost a year now and he has not only kept the ants away, but he has also been instrumental in the undoing of many mice that had decided to make our home their home. As for our ants, we didnt just have a little here and there, we had them FLOODING every room in our home. He is the real deal. He is efficient, kind, patient, and genuine. A lot of other places will charge you an arm and a leg for extra stuff, where as all of my issues have been inclusive in my price. He tells you the truth and you can tell that he really cares about his customers. If you want/need a service done, he is definitely who you should go with. read more
