Wow wow wow... James was a miracle worker earlier this morning. We had a bit of a complicated situation we found ourselves in and needed service ASAP. We had a dead rodent that was stinking up our home and multiple events and bdays planned for the next couple of days. Most companies were charging an arm and a leg for a one-time service or they required us to be on a monthly subscription with them. Eastside Exterminators were able to not only do a one-time rodent removal but also schedule a follow up inspection without us being on a subscription AND they were able to do it TODAY AND they did it all at a fraction of the cost that everyone else was quoting us. We moved into a new house and we have ants. And potentially rats. But thank god for Eastside exterminators. Mike Coombes and Jacob Calvo have helped us on both fronts. Mike came over, assessed the situation with the ants (odorous house ants), and addressed them right away. Are they completely gone? No. Unfortunately we live at the bottom of a hill in an older home, and the ants have been here longer and outnumber us by a lot. What Mike has done though is make the inside of our home less and less appealing. He's also been incredibly responsive to our panicked messages about any increased ant activity, and after he's been here, the ants make themselves scarce. Jacob mapped out our entire house, identified potential entry points, and took detailed photos of what was happening in the crawlspace (maybe in too much detail, hahaha) and gave us a thorough review of options for next steps for addressing the four legged house guests we didn't want to continue supporting. And as far as I know we don't have rats anymore, but they've also installed monitoring so if the rats do make their way back into the crawlspace, I'm confident they'll take care of it immediately. As a family with two young kids and no relatives in the vaccinity, Eastside Exterminators have been instrumental in taking that cognitive load off our hands. read more

The sales agent is misleading and introduced services I don't need. and they blamed customers for not paying attention. First, they said no charges on first visit, and then they send another technician doing different work (without communication) on first visit and charges me $219. and they argued they did the work (even this is not the service I needed). They threatened they will put you on billings collection if you don't pay the service (why should I pay the service I don't want). Very baaaaaaad customer communication. I would rate zero if system allows. read more

Find another company. This place is overpriced and overrated. Quality is low, and the employees don't seem to take their jobs seriously. As far as services go, they show up to show face, that's all. Old context which still holds: I've been using Eastside Exterminators for many years and while there have been mistakes and bad experiences, they've done a good job when it comes to making things right. Our home is large and we're on a large plot of land with a ton of wildlife, so it's a challenging environment. New data point: Been trying out the radio transmission monitoring system in my attic and crawl space - we'll see how that works out. Not the cheapest provider, exacerbated recently by the fly-by-night outfits which go door to door trying to sign up new homes. But so far, so good, and I'll be sure to update this review with details should things change. And a shout out to Michelle with doing a great job with scheduling appointments and wrangling calendars. Low value for price. I employed Eastside Exterminators for over two years, paying over $60/month to receive quarterly treatments to the exterior of my home. Over $700/year for four treatments is a lot, and I often wondered why I was paying for this on months where I was billed but no services were rendered. As a new home owner, I told myself that the subscription was worth it because if I ever needed to call them for a one off issue, it would be covered by my existing payment. Then this week I called them to ask them to remove a dead rodent from my crawlspace. "This is exactly why I keep paying every month," I thought to myself. When I called Eastside Exterminators to request service, I was told it was a $50 inspection fee. Upon hearing this, it all came tumbling down. What value am I getting for my money if an ask like this is going to be an add on? I appreciate that the company made it very clear to me that I was not getting my money's worth, and I have now canceled my service. Whenever I need pest control services in the future, they will not be getting my call. I want to be clear that all the technicians who ever arrived at my home were professional and friendly, and I appreciated the services rendered by those individuals. My issues are not with the pest control services I actually received, but with the practices of the company that I was paying every month and still wanted to nickel and dime me when I actually needed them. read more

When Mike Coombes came out to do the ant extermination, he was super clear and thorough in his explanation of the services he was providing, and he really went above and beyond to patiently answer all of the questions I had too. I want to say first and foremost that Eastside Exterminators deserved this review weeks ago. In late October, I had a feral kitten stuck in my heating vents. After calling a dozen different professionals, animal control, hvac, duct repair, pest control, exterminators, wildlife removal specialists, I got contacted by Kelly from Eastside. She was able to find someone who could help me. Despite, being out of his way, Max, offered to help me try to trap this feral kitten. He was so incredibly kind and patient during the whole process. Helping track her whereabouts and even crawled under my house where he noticed ducts that we recently had repaired that were not done properly. It was from the holes he found we realized she was loose in the basement now and out side of the ducts. We were able to get her trapped 2 days later but without Max and Kelly and Eastside not only would that process but harder but we most likely wouldnt have known about that and been able to get our heating system remedied. ​ read more

Always wants a $150 - $250 fee for an "Inspection" which is basically just walking around your property. Communication is universally terrible. No matter what your problem is they say they can solve it, but if you look at the reviews you see how often that doesn't happen. I set the appointment because I needed someone to have my problem dealt with and most places didn't deal with my specific problem. after seeing these reviews I spent a few more hours looking and got two free inspections scheduled. I then cancelled the inspection with Eastside (only scheduled a few hours prior and for several days out) and they still tried to bill me for it. read more
