He supplied his business card and had shoe covers in hand to protect against tracking the remnants of his last job on his boots into my house. I had John come out to look at what I thought was a termite issue. John was very patient and professional, and pointed out that it was a different type of insect that didn't require pest treatment -- I just needed to replace the moisture damaged wood that they feed on. Really great service! We had three total rounds of checking for rat probs we had in 1-2 week interval. One star down as an intern(?) was sent to take care and check traps the second time and after waiting 30 mins, on calling the main line, they profusely apologized and tried rescheduling. Also, one time they ran out of time and was in a hurry to get to the next appt, and I wasn't too happy, although he said he took care of all areas. I thought we missed one time, although owner confirmed he had come out, but he said he will check once again the traps if he's in the area. I've used John and his company for an ant issue that I recently had. They were able to squeeze me into their schedule when I had the time not when they had the time. I was with another pest company for a year, and the ants kept coming back. In addition, the other company ruined the finish on my hardwood floors in places where they applied too much ant spray. John is not only great at what he does, he's a very nice person. I called to schedule for him to come assess a mouse issue in the attic. When he came he ended up fixing the problem that same day. I was concerned about how much the service was going to cost because we hadn't discussed it before he did the work, but he said because there was a miscommunication on their part he would charge me less than their normal minimum fee. He did a great job of closing up the holes where the mice were getting in and came back twice to check the traps. For all this he only charged me $125 (half of the normal $250)! John was just wonderful. I called his cell phone, which is his line for emergencies as I was pretty shaken up. Bees had started coming through a vent in my ceiling. He came to my house first thing the next morning. He found a pretty large nest up in my attic. He took the nest out and found the opening they were getting through from the outside. He put wire mesh over the opening (I had a vent up there without any mesh lining??). So thankful for John and so impressed that he made time for me first thing in the morning (I had contacted him at 6pm or so the night prior and he squeezed me right in. We used adept pest solutions to remove one wasps nest in our yard. The company was recommended by someone who said the price was reasonable. The man showed up saying they would bill me later and the cost would be $70 or $80ish. He got changed in his car and went to the yard to remove the one nest. The whole process took him less than 10 minutes and I later received a bill asking me to pay nearly $120. A friend used a different company. They checked the outside of the whole house and removed 5 or 6 nests. It only cost them less than $100. Please do your homework and compare the prices before you hire adept pest solutions. read more

Not only did he not arrive on time , he failed to follow up for days after the initial inspection while we sat in our home waiting for a response with an active infestation. Insulation was strewn all across the yard and foliage afterwards as well as using my trash cans for waist disposal. Workers couldn't speak English when I tried to communicate issues to them as they were the only ones on site when the work was being done. I couldn't get receipts for the work that was done afterward even though we were the tenants of the home. Air quality tests performed following their work showed a high level of Volitile Organic compounds that couldn't be accounted for. Look elsewhere for professional service read more

John is fantastic! First of all, he knows his business and you can tell right away he is good at what he does. He is professional and nice. He doesn't mess around and gets to the point. He doesn't waste your time or money like many other pest control firms out there. Since becoming homeowners 5 years ago, we already had to use his services multiple times. We first contacted John when we had a tricky rat problem in an old bathroom. He was recommended by many on the Microsoft homeowners' boards. He opened up the wall, helped us set up the traps and worked with us/our general contractor to fix the problem. Then he helped us with bees (once in the chimney and once in the attic). He was quick and effective. The bees never came back. Couple weeks back, I called him again when the rats showed up in our sewer. He showed up on time, answered all my questions and helped us set up the traps to assess current situation. Even after he left, he followed-up with emails and provided guidance on our issues. He did the consultation at no cost (since we had no rats in the house anymore) while others charge $250 just to show up at your door. Finding good contractors is so hard.
