My husband ended up purchasing brushes on Amazon and cleaned the vent out from inside, which in turn made him have to clean it out from the outside again. When I contacted the owner to ask if a wire might have been accidentally disconnected during the attic work, he refused to come by to inspect the situation. He argued that I should have reported the issue within two weeks, despite the fact that the unit was vacant and only recently occupied. Rather than offering to troubleshoot or verify their work, the owner was argumentative and dismissed the concern entirely. He also claimed I have no proof his team caused the damage and told me I would need to hire an electrician to prove it. I am disappointed in the lack of accountability and professional courtesy, and I would suggest looking elsewhere for a contractor who stands behind their labor.

At first I thought she was just tripping, but then we heard a scratching noise, so we started looking for rodent removal services. We had never had rodents in the eight years we have lived in our house, so I was sure it was a problem in the attic because we had an HVAC system installed last year. Attic Projects sent Mason out to do a thorough review of our attic and crawl space. It turned out we did not have rodents in the attic, but they were in the crawl space, and we had a mold issue in the attic. The insulation in both needed to be replaced, rodent proofing and mold remediation needed to be done, and that's not a cheap project. I ended up getting a couple of other bids for the job since it was a significant amount of money, but Attic Projects got my business both because of the promise of a 10-year guarantee as well as Mason's presentation and follow-through. He provided a ton of pictures and explained what I was seeing in the pics. He followed up with me a couple of days after the visit, which the only other company I was seriously considering did not do. I had a lot of skepticism and questions for him, which he answered promptly and professionally, so it really felt more like a conversation than a sales pitch. The other company still actually hasn't followed up with me and the project is done now. To me, communication is important throughout these big jobs on my home. After we did the paperwork to get the job going, including financing, Mason got me on the schedule and the team arrived to do the job. Treasure was the team lead and her communication was great as well. When you have a crew of strangers working on your home it's always good to know when they will be coming and going and what exactly they are up to. One thing that's interesting about this company is they have separate inspectors that come and take a look at the work and give advice to the crew as well as following up with me on the status and providing a ton of photos. That gave me some comfort since I really couldn't tell you if the crew is doing a good job. Their office manager, Brittany, sent me more photos after the job was done, showing everything they did, so I can compare the before/after. Overall I found Attic Projects very professional, good communication and easy to work with. Keep in mind I am writing this just a few days after the completion of my project. I will try to remember to come update the review in the future with more experiences especially if I ever need to test the 10-year guarantee.

I'd like my money back for incomplete work and ignoring the warranty I paid for by ignoring my texts, but that's not going to happen from these kind of people. Not worth the money or time.

However (and this was a very good surprise) upon reading the review, the owner called me to apologize and offer to make things right. I've rarely had this happen. We talked for about 15 minutes; he was very interested in finding out why I had been so disappointed and assured me that if I gave them another chance I would have a different result. He even offered to do it for free. How could I pass it up? I agreed and we rescheduled the service. This time around, two men showed up (with ladders) and within about 30 minutes had inspected my chimney and cleaned it out. They took before and after pictures and showed me why I might want to consider replacing the chimney cap. I am EXTREMELY pleased with their professionalism and very impressed with the company's desire to ensure my satisfaction was met. I can now highly recommend them for any like service anyone might need for them. Good job!

And then we had two days of work. Both project managers, Eric and Greg were wonderful people. They did their best. I really appreciate it to work. And, overall, the team did a good job based on what I can tell from outside. They worked clean, they were respectful, they showed up on time. The only problem, and that's the reason that I only give 3 star, but not 5 star, is there is this one person in office, Lori. She's really hard to work with. She has an attitude. I had some question about this invoice. Some numbers initial didn't make sense to me. But the way she handles things with attitude, she gives me this tone while speaking - she is too much frustrated and frustrating customers too. If i am paying $8,000, i will ask question. I think that's the only thing that was down. I will consider it's Super Attic solutions -, maybe in the future, assuming that they're going to fix the folks in office and their attitude.
