Top Notch job guys! Yes they do a great job at installing insulation and all that goes into this process, including building a crawl space door that fit perfectly with no gaps. Here is what they do that others cannot. We had a reputable plumbing crew with 30 yrs in the game out before Brian and his crew went to work on the insulation. The plumbers could not find a leak -- Brian did. His crew isolated the location and fixed the pipe. They were also able to properly install a dryer vent to a our dryer. They are an all encompassing company that knows how to make a project move along properly. We were unaware of the dryer not being hooked up properly -- FIRE HAZZARD -- and they went out of their way to get this fixed before laying down insulation. I wouldn't consider doing business with any other company for this type of job other than SOS. They changed our vapor barrier and insulated the crawl space. Daniel was extremely professional and very personable as were his workers. His workers took great care in not bringing dirt into the house and offered to move things out of the way to access the space, so I wouldn't have to do it. They also offered to haul away a large wooden box found there. They explained the photos the inspector had sent then showed me photos of the completed work. It was all clearly explained. I have a 1905 home that had some serious issues in the crawlspace. Previous pest infestation that made a mess of the insulation. Emailed Monday with a serious concern about badly damaged and waterlogged crawl space insulation. Daniel called Tuesday morning, gave me an estimate the same day. The estimated was for draining the water, removing the old, moldy wet insulation, placing a new vapor barrier and installing new insulation. Not only did Daniel do all the above, he even re-wrapped my duct work and sealed up a hole where rodents had made access to the crawl space. He and his crew did all the work on Thursday of the same week. And I meal ALL the work on a 1500 square foot home and did it all in one day. This company was honest, hard-working & personable. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for insulation/crawlspace work! I needed crawl space insulation on a home with no basement, we have a crawl space foundation with concrete base surrounding lifted in some areas 2 ft and others less then ft. Prior to SOS Insulation my house was cold on the main level with extremely cold floors (no insulation under floor). After a few months of some extremely high electric bills I decided to call SOS insulation. From the initial contact to the payment I couldn't be happier. Daniel was able to come out within a few days to get me a free inspection and less then a hour after that I had a quote sent to me. I had a range that I was hoping to pay for this but didn't mention that amount to Daniel prior to his quote and wouldn't you know it his quote was right on that mark. I called Daniel on Thursday asking for an estimate to fix my crawl space. He was there that afternoon and I had an estimate a few hours later. It was several thousand less than the other two estimates I received and included more work such as new insulation and adding a new outlet for the sump pump. We had SOS recently install insulation in our crawl and attic. They were on-time, courteous, and affordable. As far as I can tell, they did a great job on the insulation and amazingly did it in one day. My one issue with the installation process was our attic access in our laundry room/pantry. No one warned us about putting things away or covering items we didn't want to get dirty. They did not put any coverings down on the floor or anywhere. I came home to find my laundry room covered with old insulation & dirt and my walls & doors covered in dirty fingerprints. I had to spend quite a bit of my evening cleaning the walls, vacuuming, and wiping down everything. It could have been avoided by putting down some plastic covering before starting work. read more

Daniel is the best! 1) He saved me $400 by telling me I didn't need to pay a company to TRAP the mice and rats. Why? Daniels said he would clean every inch of my crawl space and seal everything up. The rodents would leave on their own. I cancelled the service AND no mice and no rats after Daniel finished. 2) Daniel is not defensive at all. Just had this small local privately owned company work on three spaces for us on South Whidbey Island. I called him based on the excellent reviews I read here on YELP which were very helpful. Daniel the owner answered the phone himself and returned all call calls promptly.He reinsulated our crawl space in our large house to help get rid of rodents and tighten up insulation around our furnace ducting. Daniel and his crew did a fantastic job of removing 30 year old insulation and installing new insulation in the crawl space. They sealed all the little rodent entrances, fixed loose furnace ductwork and even cleaned the dryer vent. They tackled a nasty job with efficiency and dedication to detail. The only sign that they had been here was the new insulation that was expertly installed. Part of the crawlspace is used for the furnace and pool equipment and they vacuumed the concrete floor and made everything suitable for servicing. I called and asked for an estimate and he came out the next day. He was running 10 minutes late and he called- which is perfectly respectful. I showed him what the home inspector said and he went down there to take a look and gave me an estimate. It was a bit of a leap of faith just going with that estimate (about $800) without getting another estimate, but in between the work and the estimate, I talked with a neighbor who had work done on her crawl space and she said she paid over $2500 using clean crawls. So I was pretty happy at that point with cost. He then arrived right on time on work day and I had him take pics of before and after and he did awesome! All the sagging insulation and blank spots were now insulated and tied up perfectly. The moisture barrier was fixed as well and looked great! I'd definitely recommend SOS! read more

I recently bought a home in Everett and my inspection turned up rodents in the crawl space and that the insulation needed replacing. I turned to YELP and found SOS Crawl Space Insulation in the area and hoped they could bring me some peace with my problem. I asked for an estimate and Daniel came by within a few days. My first impression was that he knew what he was doing by how quickly assessed the situation; identifying rodent entry points around the perimeter. He ran the numbers and I had an estimate before the end of the day. I accepted his offer and he was on the job in a week. He removed the old debris, sanitized the area, and installed new insulation to the crawl space. I couldn't fit under the house to actually inspect the work. However, I had a professional duct cleaner at the house a week later and they had to climb under the home to inspect the ducts and were impressed with the insulation. We bought a 1990 house in Issaquah, WA. The inspector we hired before closing reported a horrible rat infestation in the crawl space. The inspector said it would probably cost about 3500 bucks to get it repaired. I found SOS on line and took a chance. They did a super great job for 2700 bucks. Less than the inspector suggested it would cost. Replaced the vapor barrier, pulled out a mountain of bags of old insulation, replaced it all up against the house, sealed holes around hoses. I can actually go down there now with a flashlight and look around. When we bought the house there was virtually no insulation left against the house and the smell of rat urine was so bad nobody could go down there. I have to say that this insulation company is truly wonderful. I called and talked with the owner Daniel and told him how we needed the job done right away. He came out immediately to do the estimate and his price was half of some of the other contractors. There was a little more than a foot of crawlspace and the entire underside of the house had to be insulated. His amazing crew squeezed into every nook and cranny and did an excellent job.
