Orkin's "preventative" services are a…read morescam, and the company refuses to take accountability for failures that I was actively paying them to prevent. Before moving in, Orkin inspected my home and claimed everything looked fine--no traps needed. I signed up for their quarterly pest‑control plan, which supposedly covers insects, rats, and mice. A year and a half later, I started hearing footsteps in the attic. Orkin sent a technician who was clearly untrained; she couldn't even get into the attic and only stuck her head through the opening. She admitted she saw tunneling but didn't seem concerned it because "it didn't smell." She put down a trap or two and said to call if I started smelling anything. She looked around the perimeter of my home and said she didn't see anywhere rats could be getting in. The noises continued, and when the trap went off, I called again. My usual technician actually entered the attic and immediately found tunneling and multiple possible entry points. I was told an inspector needed to come out. Despite being asked for my availability, no one followed up--I had to call them myself. When the inspector finally arrived, he said he is the person they always send for rat issues--yet I had already dealt with two other employees before him. He took one look at my roofline and immediately pointed out obvious signs of a previous rat problem and poor exclusion work. This was never mentioned during Orkin's original inspection, when the attic was clean and the issue could have been prevented. Because Orkin failed to identify or address any of this, I ended up with a full attic infestation. Their excuse was that they once pointed out a nearby tree, which they claimed counted as identifying an "entry point." Meanwhile, there were several actual openings around my attic that they never mentioned. Fixing the damage cost thousands. Orkin quoted me over $15,000, and when I asked for a discount given their negligence, they offered 5%, which didn't even cover the tax. Two other companies quoted me less than half of Orkin's price. Their customer service was equally terrible--condescending management, no accountability, and no acknowledgment of their own improper training or missed inspections. Their so‑called "satisfaction guarantee" only refunded one quarterly payment. Avoid this company. You are throwing your money away. You're better off handling basic bug prevention yourself and hiring a qualified company once a year to do real rodent inspection and exclusion work.

Upon arrival of technician, they discovered where the rats were coming from, but said he wont patch up the holes. Technician said we would have to hire another company for patchwork. Technician didnt even go up stairs or in the attic. 3) the texts received from the company was offering a $130 off coupon if we hired them. Obviously some communication issues with the person texting and whom I called, because I already hired them. 4) so paid $500 for laying down a few traps. Not worth it. Would not recommend to any of my neighbors.

Squirrels were getting into our attic. He found trails in the insulation, and he identified four points of entry. He wrote up a proposal, and I thought the price was fair. I was impressed by his knowledge of the issue, and the quality of the work. I have some experience with other pest control companies in the past. Both were bigger companies, with owners then hiring guys to do the work. I like the model of this one better. I think we're working simpy with one, knowledgeable guy. He works in an unmarked truck. They're not easy to find alone, and also requires going into dirty wet or nasty spaces. I mean Jeremy crawled under my deck, crawl space, checked out the attic. It's not an easy or clean job! Then spent a few weeks setting traps, blocking access points with hardware wire and concrete or flashing, and came by often to check traps, pick up dead rodents, and check activity. I went from rat problem to no rats in a few weeks. After confirming no activity, we sanitized my crawl space and redid parts of my insulation and vapor barrier - which had rat poo all over it. He also helped me block rat access to my shed. Jeremy was awesome, respectful, timely, responsible, and had an awesome can do attitude. Had a great experience and I'm happy to be rat free! Attic had been ignored for years. It was one of those places nobody really thinks about until…read moresomething feels off in the house. Lately the upstairs rooms always felt dusty and the temperature kept changing a lot, cold at night and warm during the day. Someone suggested checking the attic and once it was opened it was pretty obvious the insulation was very old and the space needed a real cleaning. Team came out and took their time looking around first. They explained what they were seeing and why the old insulation was not really doing its job anymore. There was a lot of buildup, old insulation, dust, and just years of stuff sitting in the attic. Once they started removing everything it was kind of surprising how much came out. Whole attic was cleaned out properly before anything new went in. They also pointed out a few small openings where air was getting in and sealed those while they were up there. After that the new insulation was installed and the difference started to show pretty quickly. Upstairs already feels more comfortable and the house keeps the temperature much better. Air feels cleaner too, which was something that was noticed almost right away. One thing that stood out was how careful they were during the process. They covered areas they were walking through and cleaned everything before leaving so there was no mess left behind. Attic cleaning and insulation is probably one of those things people forget about until it becomes a problem. Looking back it probably should have been done earlier, but really glad it finally got taken care of. And then we had two days of work. Both project managers, Eric and Greg were wonderful people. They did their best. I really appreciate it to work. And, overall, the team did a good job based on what I can tell from outside. They worked clean, they were respectful, they showed up on time. The only problem, and that's the reason that I only give 3 star, but not 5 star, is there is this one person in office, Lori. She's really hard to work with. She has an attitude. I had some question about this invoice. Some numbers initial didn't make sense to me. But the way she handles things with attitude, she gives me this tone while speaking - she is too much frustrated and frustrating customers too. If i am paying $8,000, i will ask question. I think that's the only thing that was down. I will consider it's Super Attic solutions -, maybe in the future, assuming that they're going to fix the folks in office and their attitude.
