They were terrible! We used them this summer for spider control and completely wasted $300. On the phone, they promised to knock down spider webs in our garden, get rid of webs, spray attic and crawl space and all the rooms. They were here less than 20 minutes, and didn't do 1/3 of the things they promised. I watched them the whole time. As they were leaving, I pointed to all the spiders still crawling around INSIDE AND OUTSIDE our house, and all the spider webs still up. They sprayed those webs and left. As I walked around our property, I saw many spiders and webs still crawling around, and as soon as I went into our bedroom and bathroom, spiders were still crawling on the wall! We waited 2 weeks to see if the situation will get any better, but there was no improvement. Had to call another company to clean up their mess. Never again! read more

I run a business out of an older, 3800sq foot building which has so many hidden crevices and openings for pests to enter. We live in an old 1907 house and started noticing ants shortly after moving in. The problem has continued to get worse despite our attempts to control them. In March of this year, I had these guys come and inspect my downstairs living area for bed bugs. The person who came was very nice and asked if I wanted to pay for a treatment that would take care of the carpet beetles and spiders he found (no bed bugs). I let him know that I needed to move my clothes I had down there before I was comfortable with any sort of treatment. He let me know I could pay for treatment and schedule it any time that was more convenient. So I paid for treatment and trusted that I could "schedule it at any time". Four months went by bc I'm just a busy mom and never got to moving my clothes from the downstairs. When I finally started seeing spiders come out, I contacted the company to come by and complete the treatment. You would think they keep record of services rendered but no. They called me back with no record that services had not yet been performed and insisted that if I needed a treatment, I needed to pay for it again. Without explicitly stating it, he basically said I was lying and that my house was treated in March when in reality it wasn't. After explaining that I had not gotten to clearing out the downstairs for treatment in a timely fashion, he said he would have someone call me back. Well that never happened. I emailed them as a follow-up and never heard back. I'm so pissed that I paid for services that were never rendered. I was so naive into letting him talk me into paying up front. This company took my money without documenting that services are due, and then had the nerve to tell me I was basically lying to them by stating they had done the job in March. I've never worked with anyone so unprofessional. If you have a business where you collect money, it is your responsibility to document when a service was not yet performed. You don't have a right to take people's hard working money and then argue that you performed a service when you didn't. read more

However, on the day of the appointment no one showed up and I called to check if someone was coming and the office manager got back to me by saying that the quote that we agreed upon was really low and that it is not worth it to come. read more

Owner was on top of it. Got a technician out for us in good time. Technician was calm, honest and professional. We needed the house sprayed as we've been dealing with many spiders. Even giant house spiders/hobos on a consistent basis. When I caught a huge one on my towel after getting out of the shower...that was the last straw. Turns out we've got bird mites which the spiders are feeding on. Treatment kills them too, though the tech was honest telling us they will likely come back over time unless we take more action. We had a wasp nest infestation along the second story eaves of our house. We tried taking care of this ourselves and failed. Garrett Mugford came out asap when we reached out about the issue. Warning, very long review ahead. In a nutshell, Adam is prompt, attentive, and truly loves what he does. He can't always answer his phone because he truly is in there doing his job. But he will always get back to you when he has a free moment. Give him a call and you will not regret anything. He worked hard at patching up the holes they chewed to come in, and was very discrete when taking them out. Nobody ever wants to hear, see or smell signs of unwanted, uninvited furry friends. But what do you do when you find evidence of them? Where do you start and how do you pick from one of the many companies advertising quick and meticulous detail to getting rid of them and keeping them out? Don't look any further, Adam and his company are amazing. I honestly have never dealt with anybody else other than Adam, but based off of his amazing service and dedication to his job , I see no other reason to have to entertain or deal with others! From the moment I called Adam, he has done nothing less than 200%. He offered to come out the same day, but due to scheduling issues I wasn't able to commit. He called the day of our scheduled appointment to apologize and say he would be running a little behind. Which I appreciated very much! When he arrived for the appointment, he took the time to ask me what I saw, where I saw the activity and what else I noticed. He asked questions that I thought were meaningless (to me at least) but apparently helped in finding where the problems were. He came prepped and ready to crawl through spaces, nooks and crannies to truly get all the spots. When he came back out to collect the traps, they were full and I was one happy camper. He did offer to show me what he caught, but I politely declined. I do appreciate how clean he was, and that the unwanted house guests leave bundled in a nice BLACK bag. That way, if too don't want to see them- you don't have to! He truly is an amazing man dedicated to his work, and I am eternally grateful to have found him. He patched up all the areas they were coming in, and while touching up the one entrance they worked hard at trying to open up again , he will be reinforcing it when he comes back for his 3 week follow up. Which i think is going above and beyond. That entrance I mentioned, is in a very secluded area of my home that I will never ever see, and he knew that, but was still completely honest with me. read more

I have a bird problem and these guys came out and did an inspection in my attic. After 10 minutes they couldn't see anything but based on a suspicion they then recommended over $1k worth of work. Needless to say, I decided to get a second opinion. The 10 minutes they spent in my attic cost me $195. To add insult to injury, they just sent me a follow up bill for the tax. First, they didn't tell me anything on the phone or at the time they collected $195. Second, they didn't actually "do" anything. Don't be desperate like me and ignore the high rate just to get help, find someone else. read more

Super pleased with Jeremy over at Pest Fighter. We first used him for some flying ants in the summer at our Shoreline house, and then they've helped us close up space that critters could get into during the winter. They also do other repairs, such as vapor barriers. We have a racoon family that likes to get on our roof and make a lot of noise, and Jeremy suggested some great alternatives other than trapping or otherwise harming them. We had a good experience with Pest Fighter for a termite inspection (which we passed, woo hoo!). J was helpful in explaining why we were unlikely to have issues but still checked out the house to confirm we were in the clear and gave us some information on avoiding problems in the future. I don't see a problem with paying a service call charge - after all, they are spending time to come out and do an inspection, which is something only a professional can offer. (And the charge can be deducted from the cost of treatment if it's necessary -- seems fair to me.) read more

The appointment was set on that same call with no hassle. This review is very overdue, as Adam assisted us back in November of 2016! Still, such was his efficacy that it behooves me to write this review despite its tardiness. It was a Sunday night that we discovered that our apartment had become victim to a nascent bed bug infestation. On Monday, we were able to get in touch with Adam, who on such short notice fit us in his schedule for Wednesday afternoon of that same week! A stroke of luck perhaps, as I imagine his services are in high demand. We only had to endure the bites for two more days. Adam told of his special concoction, which he assured us would take only one application to truly rid us of these blood drinking DEMONS. Toxic to these vermin, but perfectly safe for us humans. All this, for a price that beat the local competition by miles. I admit, I was skeptical at first. It sounded too good to be true. However, Adam seemed like an upstanding fellow, and we aren't exactly rolling in the cash, so we took him up on it. Lo and behold Adam's words proved true. We never experienced a single bite since he deployed his powerful potion. We even went through the trouble of purchasing bed post interceptors, but never saw a single bed bug trapped within. If a new generation of bedbugs had hatched since then, they died before tasting a single drop of blood. Such was the thoroughness of Adam's chemical warfare. This was our first time using a pest control company and we got quotes from both Pest Fighter and Orkin. Pest Fighter was much more affordable and a lot easier to work with. With Orkin I got a US call center that couldn't provide local pricing over the phone. With Pest Fighter I got the owner Adam and he was more than willing to come quickly and provided a quote over the phone. He was easy to work with and very responsive. Unfortunately our pest issues popped up with my wife nine months pregnant and it turned out that my crawlspace door was built improperly which let rats in. On top of that we had a small sewer leak under the house that also brought in bugs. We hired Pest Finder (Jeremy) to re-inspect our home for signs of rats after we had spent good money with a separate company to clean and seal our large crawl space. I called on a Thursday and he was able to come Saturday morning. He was incredibly sweet and honest, saying the other company actually did a great job sealing up the house. He identified areas outside of the house to keep an eye on and set some sturdier traps inside the crawl space in the event rats get inside, but said overall we did not have a large problem which made us feel incredibly relieved. I also pointed out some spiders that were making their way into the ceiling of my kitchen and he said he wouldn't recommend taking any action.
