Just day old bread that wasn't adequately reheated, so remained dry, and the cheese over top was barely melted and the egg was undercooked with some still runny whites. This place was highly recommended via social media and our hotel concierge. We arrived early morning and the inside was pretty small and filled up. The atmosphere is that of a European small bakery. For a breakfast croissant and a basic egg platter and 2 coffees it was a steep $48.00 bill. I will say the food was deliciously seasoned and the latte was to die for, it was just a little overpriced. This is one of those perfect places that has every single thing going for it. Don't get breakfast at your hotel. Come here. This vibe is fantastic. Beautiful decor. Staff are quick and efficient. Establishment is very clean. Now for the best part- the food. This pastry case and the breakfasts show why this place was a James Beard award finalist in 2020. Fantastic selection of pastries so do not leave with out getting four or more of something to go. Great breakfast sandwich. This place was not crowded on a Sunday morning at 9:00. Plenty of seating. I've been to the Downtown location a number of times (while in town) but this was my first visit to the WestBank location. Mountains of fresh bread and pastries are piled high, contributing to the charming decor. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. The Chickpea Shakshuka which I have had at the other location is not available here (or is simply no longer on the menu at either location.) The frittata might not be quite as seductive as the shakshuka but it wasn't a bad substitute. With cauliflower, swiss chard, caramelized onion, and cheddar, the unexpectedly light and fluffy eggs are complimented with a variety of flavors and textures. The whole dish is up-leveled with sliced radishes, micro greens, and an aioli made of Japanese mustard greens. It's an overall warm and homey experience and a nice break from the cold! read more

Walking around Jackson square and came upon Persephone Bakery. It's a cute, little bakery serving cookies, baked goods, salads, sandwiches, pastries. Everything looked too good to eat! An awesome spot that is a walk away from your home, or Airbnb, that I would definitely recommend picking up some pastries either to-go or to eat in. Very pretty decor inside with accessories that you can buy. Nice place to sit and eat, not sure how suitable it is for working but you could probably do it with some noise cancelling headphones. We went to the Wilson location (had the black and white hexagonal floor tiles in some of the pictures) two days in a row (if it's awesome, why go anywhere else?), ordering the Smoked Trout and Avocado Bowl and the Eggs Florentine both times (trading entrees the next day). We eat mostly low carb and so these were perfect menu options for us. Coffee not strong by San Francisco standards, but we came for the food and am rating for the food. If you have a nut allergy, watch out! Some of the breakfast entrees contain duqqa, which you probably already know if you've lived this long, is an Egyptian spice blend that contains nuts (usually hazelnuts if you need that for the coroner's report). Except that there's no mention of nuts or duqqa on the menu, and when you order "Eggs Florentine" you probably have your guard down. When this happened to me, the server whisked the nut-covered entree away to the underworld faster than you can say....oh what was her name, that lady from Greek mythology?...and cheerfully replaced my order without the deadly duqqa, and the nutless Eggs Florentine was delicious. Please, Persephone, update your menu so it shows which items contain nuts! We love your food and want to keep living to enjoy it and not go to waste. read more

Super cute bakery/cafe! My wife loved the coffee; the kids loved the pastries (huckleberry croissant and chocolate croissant), and I tried the cheese/pepper scone (nice salty. treat). We went back another afternoon to try to get some pastries to eat for breakfast the morning we were leaving Jackson, but they had sold out for the day--lesson learned: get there early if you want something for the next day b/c they likely won't have anything if you go the afternoon/evening before. Also, on one of our tours, our guide brought a bison white/black cookie and some double chocolate gluten free treats. Both were great! read more

Not sure if I came to Jackson Hole for the skiing or this bakery. We tried the brownie (not too sweet, which we liked!), cinnamon brioche, almond croissant (so so flaky), spinach feta croissant (popping with flavor), pumpkin maple bread, and maple pecan cranberry scone. I'm in love with their maple icing - I need the recipe. We ate here every morning during our trip but would have gladly eaten all this deliciousness in one sitting. As a James Beard finalist, this bakery is head above shoulders any bakery you've been to outside of Europe. Their fresh baked pastries are all to die for. The quiche Lorraine is out of this world. The bread pudding French toast (4.5/5) includes a unique passionfruit infusion and was delicious. Note that it has a bread pudding texture, not a traditional French toast texture.
