My daughter was looking for a new pair of prescription glasses so we decided to stop in. We're so glad we did. She found the perfect pair thanks to Ale, who was very nice & helpful. We use to go to Lenscrafters, but find that Perception offers a better, higher-quality frame selection. The service was great as well! I'll be returning soon for my glasses. read more

Literally love this lady. Dr. Nguyen is an angel! She is very diligent with her patients and she really cares for them. I've had her for the past 2-3 yrs and I am always satisfied with her. She gives free samples of lenses to make sure you feel comfortable on them before you order them and she always has really great coupons to give out! Oh and she's pretty lol. Young, pretty, nice, and smart! Perfect optometrist! I highly recommend her! read more

Great job 2 years in a row! I had a weird dilemma with my 50 year old eyes, and I have gotten 2 different sets of glasses (one for close work only, and the other for routine wear) that have perfectly accommodated my needs. Have taken both of my teenagers for eye exams here with good results. Good selection of glasses, and they take our insurance! Could not ask for a better optometrist or better customer service! read more

Best eye Doctor I have had in all my 30 years of wearing glass. Super friendly and professional.

Excellent staff here from the receptionist, the tech, the guys working in the store, all the way to the doctor. So professional, efficient, and relaxing from start to finish. That receptionist is spectacular and Dr. Kim Nguyen was so nice to my girls that I brought along and even answered my daughters (unrelated to our visit) eye questions. She asks so many questions, is very curious, and is often just ignored by others because they are in a hurry but Dr Nguyen is so warm and nice and was so great with her, making her feel welcome. I am scheduling appointments for the entire family and recommending Perception to everyone after this wonderful experience. They also have a great selection of frames at multiple price points that are clearly priced so you don't fall in love before you know what you're getting into. :) Thanks guys, you are awesome and you're doing it right! read more

Dr. Kim is the best. She is genuinely caring for all her patients. My mom, my brothers and I always come to her when we need eye check up. The process is fast and the office is clean and neat. I have chronic dried eyes problem and she helped me with that. I appreciate your care, Dr. Kim. Keep up the excellent work! read more

Dr Nguyen and her team are super nice and patient. It is my fourth year coming back and the service is great every time I visit!

Dr. Nguyen is great! She's very smart and friendly. I've been going with her for a few years now, and she's always great. Definitely recommend it. read more

Being new to the area from Austin, and having the same optometrist for 25 years, I stepped out on faith and decided to visit Dr. Kim, and boy was I happy. She did a thorough examination on my eyes and explained everything in detail to me. Her chair side manner was excellent, and the service provided was impeccable! She's one of those people who you know studied hard in college and medical school, but still has personality with common sense and social skills. I've found a new optometrist who I fully trust with my eye care. read more

I really like this place. The care and attention that is given by Dr. Nguyen and her staff make sure you have everything that is needed for you from eyewear to drops, and explanations about what is going on is detailed but in simple folk terms. read more

I've been a patient for 2 years and am very satisfied. I recommend Dr. Nguyen to all of my friends looking for an optometrist. Dr. Nguyen is smart, sincere, and personable. You will feel very welcome and comfortable in this office. The doctor and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Their equipment seems to be state of the art. It's a convenient location. You can change and set appointments via email. An overall good experience. read more

Dr. Kim and her staff were amazing. I walked in to make an appointment and everybody was very friendly and eager to help. When my son and I went in for our appointments she was very thorough and I learned more from her than I have the past 5 years at the Target optical. She was great with my kid who has ADHD and is on the spectrum. We opted to do the optomap because my son was being difficult during his exam. Even though the optomap wasn't covered under his eye insurance it was less stressful for my kid and made the appointment more enjoyable. They gave me a new client, contact lens, and glasses discount. I do not have eye insurance so the discount and explanation of charges was very appreciated. I definitely would recommend this doctor and her staff. I love my glasses and my new contacts. read more

Dr. Nguyen & her staff are professional, knowledgeable, and provide ultimate customer service. I am extremely selective when choosing who to do business with. This is my second year with Dr. Nguyen & I plan on being a long-term customer. read more

Don't call them if you are asking a question the person wasn't able to help me with a simple question because I didn't make an appointment. Guess they do not want a new customer. read more

I was not happy with my previous optometrist, so I decided to look for another place. Somehow, one of my coworkers told me about Dr.Nguyen at Perception Eyecare and I'm sure glad that I decided to come here. The office is small, but quaint. The place is very clean, staff welcoming and friendly, and they have pretty new looking technology/machines. They also don't use that dang eye puff machine, but another machine that is way quicker and more comfortable. Woohoo!!!! I don't think anybody enjoys sitting through the air puffs.... Dr.Nguyen is competent, friendly, and cute! ^ ^ She took the time to ask me questions about my contacts, eyes, and everyday eye routine. She also explained about the retina pictures I had opted to take. Thanks doctor! Not everybody takes the time to explain and show what tests results mean, but she does! I think her fees were reasonable, definitely better than the other place I went to. Happy with my first time visit. Will be back in the future if I need anything else taken care of. read more

I saw Dr. Nguyen for my annual eye exam. She was very thorough. I didn't have to get my eyes dilated. I did the optos, which is a retina camara. Dr. Nguyen was kind enough to explain to me how healthy the back of my eyes are and what I was actually looking at when she showed me the photos They also don't have that puff of air machine they have another technique that is way quicker. Doctor and staff are welcoming, professional, and very nice. Highly recommend! read more

Great doctor and staff. Somewhat limited selection but worth it. They'll prefer frames you want if you know what to ask for.

I recently switched from my previous eyecare provider to Dr. Nguyen. I have been so impressed not only by Dr. Nguyen but by all of her office staff. Knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, prompt - everything that I could possibly ask for. Dr. Nguyen runs a top notch practice - I am so happy to have found her! I wholeheartedly recommend Perception Eyecare! read more

Been seeing Dr Nguyen forever and won't go anywhere else. The office, staff and eye wear selections are always excellent.

Dr. Nguyen and Lorena are both amazing . I was treated with dignity and respect from the moment I walked in the door. Dr. Nguyen is is very kind. She gives a very thorough eye exam and does not rush you out the door as many Doctor's do today. She addressed all of my vision concerns. Lorena is very professional and courteous. This is not a typical Optometrist office. It is an exceptional one. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Nguyen for your eye care . Sheila Dallas, Tx. read more

I got my glasses here recently. The staff was great. Johnny was very helpful and patient. He helped me with the selection of the frames and glasses. I have received a lot of compliments since I started wearing these new glasses. Thanks so much. read more

I've been dying for a pair of prescription sunglasses but needed to renew my prescription. I found Perception Eyecare on Yelp with amazing reviews and they did not disappoint. Everybody was amazingly friendly and ready to help, from picking out my new glasses, to tightening the screws on my current glasses. The sunglasses I loved with prescription lenses were quite expensive, but Ale suggested a pair of glasses that have a magnetic attachment for polarized sunglass lenses. A new pair of glasses, plus the sunglasses I wanted! I placed the order with them yesterday afternoon and got a call this morning that they were ready for pickup! Dr. Kim was so informative and friendly. I got to see pictures of the inside of my eye and she explained everything they can detect just by the eye image. Before this I've gone to Walmart for my eye exams, but never again. Thank you everybody that helped me! And I cannot stop playing with the sunglass attachment. Haha :D read more

Best eye doctor experience ever. The office is very professional but also "homey" at the same time. The staff is also very professional and it shows that everyone cares about the practice. Dr. Nguyen took her time explaining different aspects of the exam as well as answered all of my questions. My prescription is very low and she didn't push me to get glasses/contacts from her practice. I will definitely stay with her as long as possible! read more

My eyes have been a bit trickier than it used to be, due to my astigmatism. My last optometrist didn't get it quite right, but Dr. Kim did a great job correcting my vision. Her staff was also very helpful when I needed my prescription emailed to me. Highly recommended! read more

All of the positive reviews are accurate. I was very impressed by Dr. Nguyen and her staff. Even though my medical insurance did not include vision, they tried their best to see if my insurance would help cover the cost. Dr. Nguyen was very professional and provided me with options for different types of contacts that I did not know existed until now. She did a thorough exam and answered all of my questions before I even had a chance to ask them. For those of you that are reading these reviews, her office is no longer located next to Target. It's on the corner of Renner Rd. and North Star Rd. read more

This is the best optical service I have ever experienced since I first started using glasses over 50 years ago. Not only were the prescriptions flawless--Dr. Nguyen is excellent--, the choice of frames I was offered was imaginative and truly stylish. I had to be talked into one pair, but I receive compliments on it every week and fancy myself quite a dandy. read more
