I was running 4 mins behind due to traffic and they went ahead and brought in the appointment behind me since they were already there and waiting. Not ideal for me of course but great if the shoe had been on the other foot. It's a pretty cozy space so I waited for the appointment to wrap up by admiring the small town views and a few new pair of glasses. Dr. Nguyen was a pleasure. She was knowledgeable and made sure that I had just as much of an understanding of what was going on with my eyes. I didn't feel rushed at all going through my exam and she gave me thoughtful suggestions on my next steps to ensure that my eye health was being prioritized. I also appreciated that Dr. Nguyen sanitized the equipment before having me use each machine. At the front desk for check out, the woman who helped me there was also really patient as I scrambled to find my HSA card to pay. It started pouring down raining and she was even kind enough to walk me through the back door to my car so I wouldn't get as wet. I will be ordering my new contacts from here soon and was told the turnaround time is really quick. I look forward to receiving them and I am excited to have a new eye doctor.

The experience was very positive. Everyone, from the receptionist to the advisor for frames to the doctor were super nice. Dr. McClennan was very thorough and spent a lot of time getting to know my eye needs. The eye exam was comprehensive and I felt good about it. After the exam, there is an extensive selection of frames. An advisor helped my pick one that met my needs. I was happy with the selection. The only downside about this business is accessibility. It is nearly impossible to access if you are going west on Mockingbird. There is no U-turn sign at the Greenville stoplight so you have to turn left on Greenville and hope to be able to squeeze in a left turn into the parking lot. Going east on Mockingbird is much easier, although parking is tight no matter which direction you are going. Overall, I would recommend this business.

However…read moresadly as others have commented below the front staff have a complete dissregard for how to treat patients and potential new patients. I have vision coverage via my place of employment but wanted to know what my supplemental coverage covered and asked the front staff to look into this from the time I booked my appointment a week prior to the time I came into the office for our appointment. I received a text from them stating our visit was covered so I called to ask about the discount and they told me that our visit was covered. At this point I figured I would again ask them when I came in for our appointment in person. So today when we came in I asked them again and the front ladies stated that they didn't check it (even though I asked them too)! So I asked them if they could check it because my daughter in law wanted to come in as a new patient. At this point they said we do not take that and I pulled up the discount site and showed them where Dr Chapman was at the TOP of the list of providers that accepted it. Then they both just looked away and acted as if they didn't care one bit! It's sad because Dr Chapman is great but with staff like this who do not seem to care one bit he just lost a potential new patient and quite possibly my family of five...

Excellent first experience from beginning to end…read more Scheduling the appointment was very easy. Brian clearly explained to me what to expect (it's my 2nd time at any eye Dr). When I arrived, the check-in process was easy and done on an iPad, again explained by Brian. Sarah, the technician, helped me with the eye measurements, explaining what she was doing along the way and answering all my questions. Finally, Dr Johnson saw me, addressed all my questions and made some recommendations. Never pushy, never rushed, never salesy and extremely pleasant to talk to. I definitely recommend her practice and plan on coming back.

My husband goes here, and we live right down the street, so I thought it would be a convenient option. I didn't get one foot in the door before some employee with brown hair started asking questions. There was no "welcome in," no "what can we do for you." I told her I just had a quick question and she seemed annoyed by that. I asked my question and then went home to contemplate whether or not I should use them after that encounter. I decided to proceed since it was so close to my home and convenient. I emailed ahead of time to inquire if they could accommodate a medical request I have. I never heard back. I had to email again a week later to get a response, which was no, they won't accommodate my medical request. Ok, then. I'll be going to another eye doctor down the road and will be taking my husband and our business with me. The owner replied below, but I have no idea why she inserted that she is a minority as that has zero to do with my review. How odd to use your ethnicity status as a reply to a potential customer's poor experience with your company. She was more concerned with emphasizing that I am not a patient (which, I never would be after my experience with them), instead of addressing my complaint in my review which was related to the encounter I had with her rude staff member from the second I walked in the door to the fact that I had to email multiple times in order to get a response from them. She is correct that I was referred to them by my husband, but he was so upset after hearing about my experience that he now refuses to go back to their facility.
