The co-pay with VSP is supposed to be $10 for eye exam, but they charged me $60 to cover a $50 for a procedure the insurance didn't pay. They would not give me a prescription for eye glasses without the procedure. The insurance is supposed to cover the cost of an eye exam for glasses, so I feel I was overcharged. Of course, this was not mentioned when I made the appointment and confirmed a $10 co-pay over the phone. read more

My mom and I received fantastic customer service from Evan tonight while choosing her new frames, along with some gracious assistance from Devan as well. Both were extremely patient gentlemen who answered all our questions thoroughly and didn't rush us out the door even after they had closed. Kudos and many thanks to both!! All stars awarded to Evan and Devan! They were awesome. However, a woman on staff (possibly the manager) told us to pull our masks up while we were sitting down literally trying on frames, which we found to be a bit unrealistic and off putting given that we obviously needed to see how various frames fit our faces without a mask covering half of them up. If this is actual store policy, a better and more realistic process needs to be worked out ASAP to accommodate customers' basic needs. After all, if people can sit down to eat at a restaurant for hours at a time without a mask, why not allow patrons to try on frames with their mask pulled down for literally a few minutes without being hassled? Minus one star for unreasonable mask enforcement. Otherwise, we had a great experience! read more

I went in a few weeks ago. Picked frames and they had a sign use your VSP and get next pair 1/2 off. Total came to $400 , plus $60 for insurance. I asked if my next pair were going to be $200 something and was told they were more than the pair I just bought. I asked for manager and she said discount was off full price. No sign mentioned it so I got a refund and took pics of the frames I wanted and went to EyeLove Optical on Lavon dr. They ordered the frame and it came in today. They got them ready to be sent off w/Crizal lenses, all the works and 2 year insurance on my lenses and I paid $284. Visionworks is a rip off. I understand that Covid has changed how we operate. But when I pay for a new pair of glasses, I want them to fit properly. I ordered the same exact frames that I have had the last year because I love them. I know they need major adjustments to fit me properly. I tried to convey this when I picked them up. I'm sorry you're so busy, but I needed five more minutes to get a proper fit. Wearing them around sliding down my nose for a week is not going to change how they fit. READ BEFORE GOING TO THIS STORE!!!! I went on December 08- 2019 as I wanted to take advantage of my insurance before the end of the year, the person that help me really was not a talkative one, no really pertinent questions while she was creating my invoice after I selected the frames, she just said: this is the portion after your insurance $145.00..... I asked her what does it includes? she took my prescription and pointed " notes and recommendation" and said "what your doctor recommended.." I told her: Policarbonate, UV protection, scratch resistance? She just replied yes. I was with my wife so I don't wanted to be an anus, I understand that people have bad days and that some people is mentally challenged, she fitted the second category so I just said : Thank you and we left. On the 27th I received a text that they were ready, when I was there and were presented to me there was a big gap between the lens and the frame, the edges of the lens looked like they were cut with a jigsaw. I told the same young woman that this is not acceptable, she said this is the way they are to what I told her not it is not, I have been wearing glasses for several years and this one are garbage.... Another lady came and try to tell me the same, also that the right lens prescription is very heavy, I told her look at them!!!! first off is the left lens the one with the worse problem, look at the ones I have now, same prescription and fits properly. Her reply was: "well... you choose the plain ones and since your prescription is heavy that is the way they look" To what I replied, my prescription is really not heavy, once again, look at the glasses I am wearing now, same prescription, nothing was ever offered to me as options or so on, the young lady that took my order never did and just pointed my prescription that pretty much have all the bells and whistles she never recommended anything so please......stop making excuses as this glasses really look like shit and not something that I want to wear on my face. She said: I see your point, you are correct so I will send them back and expedite them. Since I didn't hear from them I went there today, the manager was off, another young lady attended me, she told me that she saw them in the back as they arrived today, she retrieve them and guess what? They still look like garbage!! look at the pictures, they are so badly manufactured that you can stick the manager business card between one of the lens and the frame. She started to give me excuses, I told her to stop, just refund them to me. She said that yaddi yadda corporate will mail you a check and so on, I have to demand a refund ASAP and also told her that because of their inability to provide them I lost my portion of the insurance as it was the end of the year. Came in on Sunday to compare prices on glasses for my kids. The lady working didn't budge from behind the computer while I was in. When I was ready, she told me to have a seat and took another 5-6 minutes to come over (I was the only one in the store). She told us the price. I declined because Target was cheaper. She seemed to have an attitude when I told her this, didn't try to help find me cheaper options or anything of that nature. When I went to Target to compare prices, they offered to find cheaper options, work within my budget and even match prices if available. read more

All the staff was amazing!! I hate shopping for glasses but Tony and Delia made the process fast and easy. The buy one get one free was such a great deal! I got two pairs for the price of one. Great service was provided by Jaylyn. She greeted every person walking in the door, except when she was in direct contact with me. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about their inventory. I was undecisive about which frames would look good on me. Jaylyn to the rescue :-) I actually ended up purchasing 2 pair of what she picked out, one on my insurance and one on my husbands insurance. She's very personable, it seemed more like a friendship than a business transaction as she was so caring & concerned. I went to this location to pick out some glasses for my boyfriend and I, when we arrived there was only one other customer, and 2 people working. One was helping the customer the other was behind the counter on her phone. (I get it. When it's slow sometimes it gets boring) so I didn't pass judgement on that. However when I was ready to get my lenses and pay it was difficult to get assistance. She had then disappeared into the back. Or maybe her shift ended and she went home. I had no idea. The other person helping the other customer was very apologetic, which I respect. & he even said he'd help us as soon as he was finished. I understand completely what it's like working alone and having multiple customers that need assistance so I was not bothered by this. But then the other employee appeared again after about 20 minutes so I was a little aggravated by this. She also didn't seem to want to help me she actually seemed like she felt I was a huge inconvenience to her. As a paying customer I was very upset by this. I don't want to bash on the location because the other employee was very helpful and seemed like he was going above and beyond to assist his customer so I don't want to leave a negative review but I'd like to make it clear that there is an employee that works there that probably shouldn't I wish I had caught her name I'll do some looking and see if it's on any paperwork I have to contact the location directly about my experience I also don't think it's fair to put employees names out there for anyone to read when it's negative, however I don't think it's okay by any means for her behavior to be tolerated i work in management myself for a company and I would never except this behavior from any of my employees. read more
