I was running 4 mins behind due to traffic and they went ahead and brought in the appointment behind me since they were already there and waiting. Not ideal for me of course but great if the shoe had been on the other foot. It's a pretty cozy space so I waited for the appointment to wrap up by admiring the small town views and a few new pair of glasses. Dr. Nguyen was a pleasure. She was knowledgeable and made sure that I had just as much of an understanding of what was going on with my eyes. I didn't feel rushed at all going through my exam and she gave me thoughtful suggestions on my next steps to ensure that my eye health was being prioritized. I also appreciated that Dr. Nguyen sanitized the equipment before having me use each machine. At the front desk for check out, the woman who helped me there was also really patient as I scrambled to find my HSA card to pay. It started pouring down raining and she was even kind enough to walk me through the back door to my car so I wouldn't get as wet. I will be ordering my new contacts from here soon and was told the turnaround time is really quick. I look forward to receiving them and I am excited to have a new eye doctor.

I noticed the small shop when stopping by Happy Lemon, but have been too lazy to stop by. Luckily, they had a same-day appointment at 1:45 PM. I arrived early since my dental appointment was shorter than expected, and the optometrist was out for lunch. They said she would be back at 1:45 PM, but feel free to look around the store and try out different pairs of glasses. They have a vast variety of styles, ranging from China-made to Italian-made (expensive brands such as Coach, Gucci, Versace, and Rayban). I told them my info and they were able to look my insurance up in the system, along with all the details of my benefits. The glasses were all locked up, so you need a worker to open the case for you to try. It felt awkward compared to Visionworks because the worker was standing there watching you try on each pair. The optometrist didn't come back until past 2 PM, so I was waiting a while. However, one of the main technicians sat me down and explained all the fees and upgrade plans for each pair. He asked me to pick my favorite one, and he can tell me the exact price for that pair. He explained each process thoroughly, along with how much I'm expected to pay to get contacts prescription, retina x-ray, etc after my insurance coverage. I like the information because it made me understand the process better, but I did feel a little pressured to pick the most expensive one for insurance. The optometrist was very friendly. She spoke fluent English and Vietnamese, which is probably why most Vietnamese people go here for glasses. She gave an in-depth detail about my prescription, and how my eyesight decreased. She also recommended a new brand of daily contacts since my old color contacts were not helping with my astigmatism. After the eye exam, it was just a quick payment process since I already decided on my pair of glasses earlier. They said the wait time is around 2 weeks, which is typical. I just picked up my new pair of glasses today and I love them. It's very nice, and the lens feels high quality and durable. I did pay out-of-pocket an extra $250 for lens upgrade but it's worth the splurge for extra insurance. Overall, I like the number of glasses they offer, and it looks like they're getting more with new glass displays. The styles are much cuter than what you see at Visionworks, and Target Vision, so you'll be sure to find something you like. I would come back here next year!

I haven't been to an eye doctor in over 10yrs (I know don't judge me ) but they were able to get me in the next day. They took time with me and went over all my options and the cost. I decided to finally get contacts the doctor gave me a sample pair to try for a week. A day before my follow up she called upon closing (6pm) to see how I felt or if I wanted to try a different pair to sample. I told her I was ok with the ones I had not knowing contacts felt different. She was real and honest with me and said you'll never know unless you try another sample which duh makes sense. They opened at 8:30AM the next day for me so I wouldn't be late to work, ontop of that the guy that brought me my sample had me try a tea he was making. I saw this doctor on September the 2nd I thought I was doing business with a competent physician and practice but I was wrong! I was told that I would receive my glasses in 10 working days. On the 18th of September I called to find out where my glasses were and they informed me they still didn't have them from the lab yet. A person by the name of Carla said that it wouldn't be until the 23rd of September before they would receive the glasses from the lab! This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with an optometrist! Do not use this optometrist if you want good service and customer care! Be forewarned you will not have a good experience! I ordered eye glasses from your store and received unreliable service and incompetence from your lab and front desk staff. When I came to your business to receive a refund for my glasses since your lab was not competent enough to make a simple pair of glasses you Brian Hembree were not man enough to come out of your office to face me and explain your business and staff and laboratory to be able to deliver a pair of glasses after 23 days! I have filed a complaint against you and your business with my insurance company and the Better Business Bureau for your incompetence to serve me as a patient and customer! I called yesterday to make an appointment and nobody called me back so I called back again today and left a message through Yelp. I was planning to sign my daughter up for an appointment. She argued with me and told me she could prove that I was incorrect. I told her I do not want to opt out of phone calls or text from the office and she said I'd have to fix it myself. What!!??!! I was taken back by her unprofessionalism and lack of assistance. I asked if Dr. Joseph could call me and she said that Dr. Joseph was very busy and may or may not call me back on Friday (today is Wednesday) so then I asked if Dr Day could call me and she said the same thing that he's very busy and he may or may not call me back.
