Our family has been seeing Dr Abraham for years. He takes the time to explain things and listen. He's real and not smug as some doctors are. The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming also. Highly recommend! read more

Just great treatment from the time you walk in the door. Doctors are amazing and take their time to answer your questions and make sure that you're content with eye care!! 100% recommend this place! Best in the area!!!! read more

First time customer here, waiting time was fast in and out the door about an hour. Place was clean and neat. All of the staff was professional, courteous and overall very enjoyable to be around. I was given a full exam and then handed my RX on the way out the door. Great experience and will continue to go here as well as recommend to anyone! Kyle. P read more

Friendly and welcoming staff! I came in was greeted by the ladies in the front and after that Kevin took me back and did some tests. It was super fast and simple. He's a chill guy that gets things done. Dr. Abraham was great at explaining everything to me and he quickly identified the issues I had with my vision without me telling him. Like WOOAH DUDE...so this is how a person with a doctorates degree's like...a mind reader. Haha. Next, I saw Ellen. She's so sweet and patient, she definitely knew what would look good on me. It was like we've been friends since forever type of thing, it's amazing how she immediately knew what I would like. After that, Bev finished me up by making measurements and stuff. She's cool too. It's a great environment to be in and they have great teamwork. I recommend you guys check them out and see for yourself! read more

Definitely recommend this office, the whole staff is amazing and Dr. Abraham is out of this world, he took the time to explain and made sure I was comfortable! A thousand times recommend making Dr. Abraham your optometrist! read more

I always recommend Dr. Soby to anyone I know that is looking for an eye doctor! He is very thorough, personable, and easy to talk to. The location is also great because it's right next to the highway. The rest of the staff at Focused Eye Care is also all super nice and I've never had a bad experience here! read more

Focused Eye Care - Optometrists Near Me - Garland, Texas

Dr. Naidoo is pretttyy perfect. She'll be my eye doc til I'm blind. Recommend to anyone looking for a new eye care doctor.

I've been blind since the 6th grade, so I've been on the hunt for a great optometrist. I actually wanted to be one growing up. But anyway... Dr. Soby Abraham and Dr. Samantha Naidoo are two of the best optometrists around Dallas! They are both extremely friendly and professional and their staff as well. I've been going to them for about 3 years now, and Dr. Abraham is very attentive to all my needs. I think glasses and contacts are very important because you use your eyes everyday, so it's gotta be done right. I informed him of my medical conditions and he always makes sure I'm doing well. His check ups are very thorough. Plus he always throws in some solution! They didn't have a very good selection of glasses a few years ago, but I had my last appointment last week and the choices are great! So many new trendy and hip styles. I was hoping they would have the wayfarer Ray-Bans and Kevin even showed me all the choices they had online for sunglasses and colors that you can use the frames for as regular glasses too. Kevin was so nice in explaining my VSP insurance coverages and all the lens choices and features. Usually Rachel is there as well and she's great too. Never has a problem with me coming in to adjust my glasses. Kevin also got me some rebate papers for my contacts. And Stacey was very friendly when doing the pre-tests. This private optometry office will definitely give you a great experience. read more

I had a fantastic experience here with Dr. Abraham and his staff. When I called to make an appointment they were able to get me in the next day; most of the other optometrists I've called in the past usually make you wait at least a week (in some cases up to 3 weeks!). The reception staff was very friendly and polite, and Dr. Abraham is funny, personable, and does a great job explaining his decisions when determining your prescription. I've already noticed a huge difference between my old prescription and my new one, and will bring my current back-up pair of eyeglasses in to get the new prescription put in them. When I mentioned that I was thinking about getting some one day contacts for an upcoming trip, Dr. Abraham gave me enough samples that I wouldn't need to buy them separately! I was really touched with his empathy and generosity. The exam and contacts for six months (combined) were cheaper for me than the exam alone at other offices I've visited here. I'll definitely be back! read more

We go here for all our eye wear. Great customer service, experience and professionalism. Doctors are very helpful and explain all procedures. read more

Dr. Naidoo is fantastic! She was very thorough with my exam, and really took the time to make sure we had the right prescription. I had a follow up appointment a couple of weeks after my initial appointment, to make sure I liked the new brand of contacts I was wearing. Very good thing that happened because we ended up finding a totally different brand the second time that fit much better! Was awesome that she tool extra time with me to get this right! HOWEVER. Not every experience and staff member is this wonderful! The man who works with frames has never been pleasant to me. He always has a sour expression on his face and conducts himself with a demeanor that exudes frustration and contempt. (He looks like grumpy cat!!!) It's tough to tell if he hates his job, hates people in general, or hates life all together. Whatever his problem is he needs to get over it and work on his customer service skills. He is truthfully so rude that I opted to only order contacts here and ended up ordering Warby Parker glasses! read more

This is the place to go for all your family eye care! Our daughter saw Dr. Soby Abraham and he was fantastic with her. She is normally very, very shy but felt totally comfortable with him. Now she has glasses, we had all of our concerns addressed and fully explained and we are all around happy with her treatment. Dr. Naidoo is the one we saw for our appointments. She is fantastic as well, again, with complete explanations regarding what we would need (if anything) and she has a great personality as well! They take most insurance (including VSP) or they will work with you to make other arrangements. You won't regret giving them a try. **UPDATE 06/27/3014** We still love Focused Eye Care. We wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I've been here for a few appointments and the staff and both doctors are awesome. Beware to arrive on time otherwise you will be rescheduled. Luckily for my husband they were able to still fit him in. read more

Dr. Naidoo is the best! She has a great personality and she brings this enthusiasm to the room when I came for my visit. I had no complications with my visit and I was in and out within an hour at most. The glasses selection was pretty small, so I chose to buy my frames from Warby Parker. All of the staff was incredibly helpful and kind, I'll be back next year for sure. Also, glad both doctors are UH post grad alumni, go coogs! read more

I am Dr. Abrahm's patient for more than 2 years. I have never encountered a dr so careful with his patients, so precise in his diagnostic. I wear contact lenses for about 20 years. Some of the previous doctors have not been always accurate in their readings. Dr. Abraham will take all the time in the world to make sure I am pleased with my lenses because I am a difficult patient, almost too perfectionist. I am very happy with his service. The staff is also so nice, so friendly and fun to talk with. They care, return calls almost immediately and will go the extra mile to accommodate the patient's time. Great environment, great doctor, great staff! read more

The communication from this place is horrible. The Doctors are great but the front staff could be way better. I was told that my contacts would be in the next day or by the end of the week. 2 1/2 weeks go by with no word from them. I finally just showed up and was told they had been on back order. I call after they knew this to let me know this would have been nice. I was so furious!! Again, made an appt for my son. instead of calling me to reschedule(the person who made the appt) they called my husband who in turned changed it and called me and the new time was not good. I received two different excuses as to why it had to be changes. Same thing today and again two different excuses. Any suggestions for another eye place??? read more

I had been looking for an eye doctor for sometime now. I was with my eye doctor for over 25 years and he was amazing! I had been through a few doctors and just kinda gave up from exhaustion. The doctor's around the area treat you like you are a number in a factory and we are talking about my eyes here. My co-worker recommended this office and I was kinda side eye'd but called anyway. From the time I called the front desk to make my appointment, to the time I actually saw Dr Abraham till the moment I decided on my pair of lenses and contacts, the service just superb! Dr Abraham's bedside manner is amazing! he is very detailed and makes you feel comfortable. The staff is super friendly, helped me with my options on purchases and it was just a pleasurable experience. Keep up the good work guys! I will tell everyone I know to come your way. Thanks so much for making me feel like I'm apart of the Focused Eye Care Family! Your cousin is here, lol. read more

Great facility and convenient location. Dr. Abraham is great and uses updated equipment. They also have a great selection of eyeware

I came in today to look for some glasses with my daughter. I had been in the office before to look at some of the glasses for back to school and they recommended that I come back in August because they're back to school selection would be a lot bigger. So, I came in today with my daughter to pick out some glasses and was stopped by the front desk staff who requested I give them a copy of my ID in order to look at the glasses. I showed them my ID, but they wanted to keep it while I was in the store. I have been to multiple glasses locations and never have been asked to give them an ID just to look at glasses. I was treated like a criminal and I do not believe that there is any justification for it. Shame on You! read more

My best friend referred me to this office, which is ironic because I referred this office to her years ago when I took my youngest son here. The office staff was extremely friendly and very attentive and made me feel very comfortable. My best friend raves about Dr. Abraham but he was not available yesterday so I saw Dr. Naidoo. She was fabulous! I am so glad that I choose to come to this office yesterday and will continue coming here and will highly recommend to all of my friends, family and acquaintances. read more

Dr. Soby Abraham and the staff are really great! Nice and friendly, they take the time to explain during each visit. They make sure to understand the needs of the patient. It's always a pleasant visit every time we go. read more

I called to see if they sold glasses or only did eye exams. I spoke with Kevin. He said he could help me. I gave him the style I was looking for. He did not have them in the store but could order them. He asked about my insurance. He called to verify my coverage and cost. That is something no other vision store did. He was very helpful and after getting all my information the difference between his price and the large chain vision stores was over $200. OMG! How can that be. I would recommend them on the phone call alone. read more

Came for an eye exam. Entire staff was extremely friendly. Not a huge selection of glasses so i got them else where. But will go back for checkups. read more

I should have started coming here a long time ago. Yesterday was my first time to Focused Eye Care. I really enjoyed the visit - from the staff to the doctor. My appointment started on time - which I really appreciate. Beverly did a great job in answering my questions and making me feel calm about the eye imaging. Dr. Abraham was thorough and completely explained the issues with my eyes as well as the various treatment options. Tina and Rachel were especially awesome and patient in helping me pick out eye frames. I also appreciate the "no pressure" attitude in purchasing glasses/contact lenses - which allowed me time to absorb all I had learned and choose the best option for me. I wish all my doctor's appointments went as smoothly and as nice. read more

Dr is good but Expensive glass and frame and unreasonable miss appointment charge of $25

Focused Eyecare is as good as it gets in greater DFW! They have a fantastic, friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The interior of the facility is top notch and warm. You can't get any better than Dr. Naidoo. She's personable and professional. A big shout out to Rachel as well. When we've been in a bind with broken glasses, she makes sure we are taken care of. Got to go here folks! read more
