We've tried the Famous Philly and added some fries. Overall the food was pretty good. Will be back soon.

The Meltdown is a ghost kitchen that's located inside Denny's - and for being a virtual kitchen,…read morethey're actually pretty good. The packaging doesn't say Denny's or The Meltdown, but is a cute retro style, like what you'd see in a bowling alley, kind of. I tried the Giddy Up Melt, which came on toasted buttery bread and was filled with burnt ends. The burnt ends had a good flavor but were a little too big for being served in a sandwich style (being hard to eat in bites, like how you'd eat a sandwich). My melt came with fries, and they were sort of steak fry style, but "crimped" or pleated in the middle which I had never seen before on fries. But they had a good flavor as delivery fries go, not arriving soggy or dry. I also got a side of onion rings, just to try them. I'm not even usually an onion ring fan usually, but just had an itch for them for some reason. The batter on these were actually pretty tasty, and the onion inside kind of just melted into the batter vs being all oniony in texture, which is my normal complaint about onion rings. So I would recommend trying these if you're an onion hater, but sometimes do like onion rings if they're prepared the right way. Overall, it's definitely ghost kitchen quality, but it's a slight cut above a lot of the other virtual kitchens I've tried over the years.

There appear to be two locations; one in Gretna…read moreand the other in Dennys on S 84th St. I ordered the Classic Meltdown and the Treatn' Myself Melt for delivery from DoorDash. The Classic was a large grilled cheese sandwich with white cheddar, American, and provolone cheeses wrapped in foil and boxed. It was big enough to share or keep for another meal. I shared and we all thought it was good. Not a hallelujah good, but good. It was a bit greasy but that's to be expected given it's Ingredients and cooking method. The Treatn' Myself Melt was a whole 'nother story. Absolutely delicious! Big enough for sharing or two servings. I saved some for breakfast. The picture showed the same ingredients, but they were plated differently in my delivery, and I preferred mine. Two grilled slices of pound cake provided the base for a wonderful piece of cheesecake, but it was left whole, not sandwiched. The topping of sweetened strawberries soaked into the pound cake. It was reminiscent of strawberry shortcake, but richer. I would for sure order it again, it was so good. I don't think I would order the cheese sandwich again, but I might try a different melt such the brisket.

Didn't have a greatest experience here recently given the high expectations we place on a normally…read moreawesome place. Kiddo tried the Mac and Cheese for the first time and it was not great. The noodles were overcooked and the whole thing was too goopy for their liking. The Chipotle chicken sandwich felt a little small for what you'd expect for $10. The flavors were really good, but was still hungry after. Didn't jam it with a ton of toppings, but could definitely use more meat and cheese. I do recommend the tuna salad. Very good. The tomato bisque soup was delicious as well. Could use a side of bread tho. The place was nice a clean as usual and had plenty of seating. The rewards program was a real miss. They didn't ask for our rewards code and apparently you can't get credit using the receipt (like most places). I totally get that this location didn't make the app, but they should know about this limitation and be a bit more proactive to prevent these types of situations. Still a family favorite...look forward to a better experience next time.

Normally on a given day, I would have given Pickleman's an outstanding rating. However, on this…read moreday, I decided to pull through the drive-through because I was longing for a BLT sandwich and there was absolutely no wait. I ordered my sandwich at 3:43 PM and immediately pulled up to the window. The clerk took my money and then proceeded to tell me that my sandwich would be out in just a minute. At 4:00 PM, I watched a lady who was counting money at the drawer from outside the window. I gently tapped on the window and I asked her if I could check on the status of my sandwich. She rudely says "they are working on it." and shuts the door before she even finishes the sentence. A few more minutes go by and she proceeds to open the window and shove the bag at my face and says "here." Because my husband and I frequent this particular location so often, I know we have seen this person before, and I believe she is in a manager role. Well, miss manager, unfortunately, you just lost yourself a customer. I am sure Jimmy John's would be more than happy to take my money any day.

I honestly can't remember the burger I had, but I remember that I wanted to have it with the strawberry aioli and they were happy to make the change for me. After I ordered I saw 10 other people with order numbers in their hand so that was an indication of the wait we were about to endure. We had to stand for a bit before a table was available. It took 45 minutes before the food arrived. Now the food. It was good enough to say I'll try it again. If it wasn't for the generous portion of fries I would have left hungry. I'd be happy to pay $18 for two sliders and half the amount of fries. Fries were good but most likely a premade frozen fry nothing unique. The size of the burger was honestly comparable to the McBurger not the Big Mac (smaller and less meat). Couldn't have been more than 1/4 lb. Very thin. Yes I know it's a smash burger but paper thin and didn't pour out of an already tiny bun. I ordered the heat burger. It came with pepper jack cheese jalapeños and aïoli sauce. I dipped it in ketchup b/c it seemed dry. The 9 year old ordered the classic with added bacon. I'd say add the 3rd patty for $3 to make the meat to bun ratio closer to equal.
