Wow! Has this place changed! The blue cheese was not right and there was a tiny portion. The recipe for the garlic parmesan was changed. It tasted weird. It used to be great. The wings were much smaller and lower quality. The only good thing about the meal was the celery sticks. I won't be back. Sad as I used to really like this place. read more

I would like to give a review of the food but we left because no one would wait on us. We walked in and told them we had six, a man said you can sit back at that table and someone will bring you menus. (There were 3 or 4 tables with people sitting so NOT busy at all.) We sat down and sat and sat and sat after 10 mins not one server or anyone came to talk to us or offer us menus. So we decided to leave. We haven't been there in a couple months because the food and service has gone down hill and it's just not what it used to be so we thought to give them another chance. I would not recommend this restaurant! Find another restaurant for wings or anything else for that matter. Half the TVs don't even work anymore. Got wings for takeout from Wings and Rings. I really liked all the flavors, customization options, add ons that they have for their wings as you can really get exactly what you want. The wings were a good size and a decent price. They also packaged everything up really nicely so it wouldn't spill everywhere in the bag. The hostess who got our wings was very nice. I can't quite remember, but I thought it was just OK the first time and today I feel like it's more of the same, very mediocre. I was looking through my recent visits and I thought about whether or not to review this place. I've been here three times, most recently a couple months ago. And after putting some thought into it, I decided to post this review. I normally will give an establishment another shot but frankly, I've been here twice in the past year and I won't be going back. The happy hour specials are really good and the menu is changed at a good pace with new delicious burgers. And the burgers, they are usually good. But on both occasions, the portion of fries was lacking related to the price and the service was not good either time. On my last visit, we got mostly done and I simply needed a refill of my water and to get the bill and waited almost 15 minutes. I would never do this but I think I could have walked out and been home before anyone knew we were gone...it was crazy that our staff member just disappeared for A LONG TIME. Wasn't spectacular by any means and the service definitely could be improved. And there are a lot of other restaurants nearby that I'd rather visit so I will just leave this review here - other people seem to like it so maybe I just coincidently had two poor visits. I was using a voucher last time and I hope that wouldn't cause them to treat my family differently....but it makes me wonder. read more

This was my first time visiting this location and it did not disappoint. We were seated immediately, and the servers were super friendly. Our beers arrived very quickly along with our chili con queso after ordering. My husband and I both went with the traditional fried wings that were loaded with sauce. Overall, I would rate the service a 2/10 Our waitress was rude and slammed down our plates. She was sassy when we would ask for something and was the WORST waitress i've ever had. Her name was (belle). The food overall was a 4/10. My chicken sandwich was crusty, dry and I could get a better chicken sandwich at the local gas station. The onion rings were a good 6/10. I love that their boneless chicken wings are real and when I say real I mean just that cut up chunks of breast or tenderloin meat and breaded and fried to perfection. I ordered the boneless wings and I usually don't buy for some reason today I just felt like it and they did not disappoint! We were greeted and seated right away or server unfortunately was a bit slow and seemed to be forgetful but she was very young and I'm assuming it was just a long night as I came in after 9 pm. I also ordered the garlic aioli and Parm fries *CHEFS KISS* soooooo darn good!!! I also ordered a strawberry margarita and NO THANK you, it tasted like medicine and syrup I hated it and will NEVER order one from there again her than that everything was really good and fresh made. I used to love this place, and it's still okay, but not what it used to be. Service seems to have slipped quite a bit, but I know it's hard to find help right now. Their boneless wings are the best I've had, and remain at the top of my list. Onion rings are pretty good, although this visit they were a bit burnt (see photo). My burger was decent this time around. We went there to watch a game and after asking for said game on a TV they were happy to have it changed. However, there were still 3 other TVs on the same wall all playing the same different game (of that makes sense). If it's me, if someone requests a game and there aren't other local priority games playing, give the people more of what they ask for, maybe even in both directions that party is viewing. Since BWR got rid of their Greek items I have been on protest to visit. However! The fam talked me into going. The hubs and kiddo #5 absolutely love their wings and I must admit the garlic parmesan ones are pretty good. This visit I tried the Buffalo Mary. I was SO good ya'll! Now, I've never had their wings, but their apple pecan salad is one of my go-to salads of all time. It has apple, pecans, blue cheese crumbles and chicken. the Dressing is a sweet strawberry vinaigrette and that is the show stopper. Just writing about it, I want one right now at 10am. We haven't been to Wings & Rings since the pandemic hit. I've been craving wings and we were in the area so we decided to stop in for a late lunch. Things didn't start off well. The hostess sat us at a table without asking if the choice was ok or if we wanted a booth. Since it's the weekend and there is lots of football, seating is important. Our waitress was friendly, but seemed inexperienced. She had to check what beers were on tap and forgot one of our drinks. The restaurant was only at around 25% capacity. We ordered the drunken nachos to start off. It came late and was cold. The flavors were good, but you could tell it was sitting awhile. Our meal also took awhile to deliver. Way longer than expected for a fairly empty establishment. My wings were right out of the fryer and seemed fresh, but my fiancé's grilled wings were cold. The traditional wings were drenched in sauce after cooking. This made them a little more soggier than I would have preferred. One of my wings was so over cooked it was black under the sauce and the meat was more of a crunchy jerky consistency. It is as if there was no quality check, or the kitchen staff just doesn't care. Overall, we both very disappointed in not only the food, but the overall service. I don't see us returning. Prior years the business was a constant wait on weekends and the food was fantastic. Came back after 5 months to try it again since we really love the food here. Our waitress is doing a great job. But hey why not another surprise from here. No more menus. We have to scan some type of QR code and try to zoom into the menu on our phone. Good thing we didn't bring the in-laws here because they would not be able to find anything on the tiny phone screen. We asked for a paper menu, which it seems like they literally did away with them. The common "rona" excuse was thrown at us here too. I have been pretty closed lipped about all this mess but more and more places cut corners to save them money while blaming some virus for their changes. Sickening really.... Guess we will have to really badly want the great food here again in order to put up with all the bad that comes with it. I am truly surprised we weren't asked to bring our own silverware to stay safe from this killer virus of all humankind!!! If this was such a safety issue to them then the tables would be at least 6 feet apart to keep a distance and people would be required to wear masks when walking about the establishment. This place is fucking fantastic! The only downside is that the AC was out that day. And it was 95 degrees. I felt they could have done something for us to make up for that but it is what it is.
