1st timer at this winery! Very family friendly, I saw so many children here. The aesthetic is country with gravel everywhere. I was too scared to bring my kids since they'd turn the outside area into a sand box. But cool rustic look! The frozen sangria is a must. I also got a regular sangria, which was okay. I also did a wine flight that included 3 whites and 3 reds. They were good! I love the food truck outside that serves cubana sandwiches and different style loaded fries. read more

They're customer service is horrible. My partner and I were a member of their "Thirsty Dogs Club" for a few years. For medical reasons we had to cancel our membership because he ccan no longer drink alcohol and in support I am not either. I explained this and the woman in charge of memberships did so. I asked if I would receive a refund of my balance. No where in the membership does it say there are no refunds. She told me that the balance would remain and I could use it anytime. I informed her again that I would not return to Peltzer or wine country for that matter. She said she had talked to her general manager, explained the situation, and would have to get back to me. After two weeks, I emailed her again because she never got back to me. Her reply was "I have let the General Manager take care of this. He knows the situation. His email is fred@petlzers.com. I would contact him as it is something I wouldn't be able to settle, Apologies" So I emailed him. After a couple of days of no response I noticed the email address she gave me was wrong (peltzer was spelled wrong). So I resent the email to the correct email. Still no response. After a little over a week, still no response. On 09/25/24, I sent another email both Michelle Paine and Fred and still no response. So needless to say I have a balance of almost $800 and apparently their way of dealing with me and my situation is to ignore me! I am very disappointed because I actually like their winery, but I will now have to tell anyone who asks me for a recommendation in Temecula to stay away from Peltzer which is sad. read more

1. 2020 Albarino: this white smells good with a fruity teast. Once it hits the pallet, it is a little weak and acidic. 2. Roussane: kind of weak. Crisp though. 3. Chardonnay: smooth and creamy. A little weak on taste 5. Super Tuscan: might be the best on the menu. I will give a 3.5 rating 6. Feeling corky: disappointed. Clean, good smell, but taste acidic and muddy. Such a cute winery! Love it! As we walked inside the building, Anissa warmly greeted us with a smile. She was so friendly knowledgeable on all the wines. Enjoyed her company as she poured our flights of wines. Sweet whites were our favorite. They also had a guava lemonade with white wine and it was refreshing. We were told it was popular among the crowds. It does slowly creeps on you later so drink responsibly. There is a food truck on site which we didn't get a chance to try, but it does look good. It was such a fun experience. We used a sip passport which I highly recommend! A sip passport costs $53 with 5 tickets which you can redeem at several different wineries. You can choose to wine hop and try different flights at the listed wineries or split the passport with friends and spend around $10 per person. Definitely make a stop at peltzer! We have been members for years. We got looped in when they first opened. The server was super friendly and they had a great vibe. They were also family friendly. Although we didn't have kids at the time, we liked the family friendly atmosphere as we could go meet up with friends that had kids. The service was never as good as the first time, and the wines are fine, but the only reason we haven't cancelled is they have a beautiful property. The service is usually just ok. Once in a while you will get a good server but a lot of the times you feel like you're breaking up some super important conversations they are having with each other behind the bar. Also they're no longer family friendly. After being members for years and always seeing kids run around and their advertisements for family friendly events (pumpkins patch, ice skating etc) we came on a Saturday with our baby and we're told it was 21 and over. Mind you it was completely dead and we purposefully sat outside in a corner table, where she slept quietly. We figured we would pick up our shipment while we were in the area, and were honesty shocked. I don't know if it's a new policy or they are just now enforcing it but seems like BS to me. I get it, not everyone likes kids, but if your watching your kids and they are behaving I don't get it. They're definitely loosing our business. read more

Spent a lovely weekend celebrating my wife's birthday in Temecula and visited Peltzer. What a gem. We were paired up with Chelsea and she was simply awesome. Very engaging and knowledgeable in all things wine. She listened to what I liked, what my wife liked and made great recommendations. I ended up walking out with 8 bottles of wine and a wine memebership and two glasses of wine before it was all said and done. For all the wineries we spent time at over the weekend this was by far the best. We will revisit to spend time with Chelsea first then get wine. Don't miss this destination. read more

She was so friendly and knowledgeable, best wine tasting we did all weekend. Also an enormous shout out to Cory. His tour was cool, we had so much fun. We did the tour that includes a tasting from the barrel and a personal charcuterie board, totally recommend it. There was also live music and food trucks. Lots of outside patio seating. As soon as we stepped foot in to this place I did NOT feel welcomed, I felt discriminated immediately We were not even 5 min into sitting down where the food trucks were and a manager or staff member with the scariest eyeliner came to us and told us there was no children aloud. Came to Peltzer when I was visiting my boyfriends family for the second time. They live in Temecula so what better way to catch up than at a winery? Maybe I'm a new comer but thought that the food trucks located below were really cool! Guess we were all in to drinking beers because that's what everyone ordered. My boyfriend and I ordered one of their IPA's which tasted so good! My boyfriends dad order a stout and he got his wife and step-daughter got blonds. I believe the food trucks has brisket and mac n cheese as their main entrees. We all got brisket sandwiches, brisket nachos, and fried mac n cheese balls. The winery itself had a live musician preforming who ended up being good pals with my boyfriends dad. Overall this winery was very spacious, relaxing, and had a great selection of drinks!
