Fried Rice with steak
Smaly K.

Not too bad for airport food. There was a delay with our flight, so we decided to grab something to eat. I wasn't too hungry, so nothing sounded too great. I figured I'd get something here, and be able to easily take any leftovers home. They were closing very soon, so my cousin and I were their last orders. I got the steak fried rice, which came up to a little under $16 after tax. Although it was a bit plain, I did like the texture of the fried rice. I had to add soy sauce to give it flavor. I ate only a little, and saved the rest for home, which there, I added chili oil, and it tasted so much better.

Located in a centralized food court at the airport, we were able to purchase Chinese food before our flight. We got our food quickly and was able to sit down and enjoy our meals. However, we were not accustomed to the flavors they used in their dishes and were a little disappointed that their fire chicken wasn't as spicy and the fried rice had red bell peppers. Overall, it was conveniently located and near other restaurants/cafes.

Chicken pad Thai

Good pad Thai. Service was pretty quick for how busy it was. They have other Asian options too.

Those noodles are all stuck together. The chicken is tender, maybe too tender. The sauce was good

Pei Wei is OK. The food is pretty good but it's not like eating at a full-blown restaurant. aching get busy at lunch and dinner so be prepared for a little bit of a wait as for the dining room. There's nothing special but it's clean and the air conditioner works really well if you have some cash and want a little fusion American Chinese this might fill your bill

Decided to try out this place while waiting for my flight. The staff is very busy but they work hard to tend to you. I appreciate that. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai. It came out nice and hot. I waited a few minutes to eat it but then I noticed it was very oily. It seeped through the cardboard container, leaked thru the bag and onto the counter! Lol I had to grab some napkins because I didn't want to leave an oily mess in the counter. The noodles were short and in pieces but the shrimp was good. As for flavor was lacking in spices and it was hard to eat with all the mess.

Teriyaki Chicken and Coconut Curry Chicken - looks same but tastes different. Not bad! 4 stars.

I was surprised by the quality of the food at Pei Wei, the main Asian food stand at Seatac Airport's main food court. Unlike Panda Express, Pei Wei has chefs fire up the wok and make food to order. They have both Chinese and Thai-inspired rice and noodle plates available. They also go easy on the sauce, which is how I like it. Both Teriyaki Chicken and Thai Coconut Curry Chicken dishes were good. The chicken was surprisingly moist despite being white meat. Only ding is that their kiosk ordering system can be a bit buggy and slow. Press too hard and you'll be ordering for an army.

I will say how shocked I was to find this rice was pretty decent. It come out piping hot and fresh. Bonus is it doesn't have peas!!!! Their spring rolls are mini so perfect bite size. If you are in the mood for Chinese stop by...you might be actactually surprised.

While waiting for my flight, I grabbed lunch at Pei Wei. I ordered some egg rolls and shrimp pad thai. The egg rolls were piping hot, crispy, and very yummy. The pad thai had a good amount of large shrimp and the dish was delish! I enjoyed my meal very much and thought the portions were great for the price. My order was freshly made and the wait wasn't too long. The lady taking my order was sweet. If you want good food fast, stop by Pei Wei!

I ordered the flaming chicken. The food came out fairly quick. The sauce is thick on it and the chicken has an odd texture. I would hardly fall this flaming chicken either. It has all the heat of ketchup. The container was mostly full of undercooked rice. I'd give it a solid 'meh'. I know it's airport food, but I would try and find another option at SeaTac for your dining. Decent service, blah food.

Food: SO yummy, 11/10. Best airport food I've ever had! The chicken was really delicious, soft, sweetened perfectly and the brown rice was well cooked perfectly as well. I could tell it was made fresh and us Thais know their food too well ;) Service: Food took a bit long hahah but the lady at the counter was really nice, smiley! Ambiance: Lots of seating options around this restaurant which is nice. Can't wait to come back next time I have a layover in SEA haha!

Overpriced and food was so so. The noodle option was just plain noodle, not even chow mien and no option of half rice half noodle so you'll have to buy extra. Had to wait a few minutes for food to come out. This is in the airport food court so it's nice and bright but tables are kinda hard to find. We got lucky though. The food court dining area was clean.

Just learned Pei Wei actually cook food on the spot (unlike Panda Express and the likes). The food was served fast and taste above average for a fast food Chinese chain. We ordered the pad Thai with chicken and a shrimp/beef chow mein. I can taste the entrees are less oily and a bit more watery. I guess this is good for health but still one entree sets you back 1200 calories

Bland, no lime, need siracha or it's rubbish

Located in…read morethe Central District, the food beautifully reflects the culture and creativity of the neighborhood. I was so excited to see Lao sausage on the menu, I knew we had to get that. The clams and mussels with Lao sausage were hands down my favorite dish - so savory, unique, and packed with flavor. I know it would be something my mom would have loved to try! The collard greens with neck bone meat were another standout. Every bite was unforgettable. The wait here is no joke, so I highly recommend making a reservation. I think we waited an hour and half to get seats for two, but worth it! We were fortunate enough to be seated after closing, and despite the long wait, the staff remained incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Their hospitality made the experience even more special. So shoutout to the staff! The only dish that didn't wow me was the trout - it was a little mild and could've used a squeeze of lemon to brighten the flavors. But honestly, everything else was some of the best food I've had in a long time! And I am a real foodie. If you appreciate cultural fusion, Communion is an absolute must visit in Seattle!

Unfortunately, tonight's experience was extremely disappointing, specifically because of the service we received from Darlene. We tried the shrimp yakisoba in addition to our wings and mozzarella sticks and unfortunately did not like the flavor of the yakisoba. The frustrating part is that Darlene only asked us one time if everything was okay--and she didn't even come to our table. She asked while checking the thermostat, and at that point we had only eaten our wings and some mozzarella sticks. We had not even tried the yakisoba yet. We waited approximately 15 minutes for her to come back and check on us, but she never did. I eventually went to the counter to get a box. Since she never came back to our table, we also went to the counter to pay, which is different from our previous visits where we were checked out at the table. We explained to Darlene that we didn't enjoy the yakisoba because of the flavor. Instead of simply acknowledging the feedback, she responded rudely that we needed to tell her when she checked on us so it could have been fixed. That was frustrating because she never checked on us after we actually tried the food. How were we supposed to tell her we didn't like something when we hadn't even tried it yet? Then, when I went to tap my phone to pay, Darlene said, "But you're not paying for it, so it doesn't matter." I told her she was being rude, and rather than de-escalating the situation, she began arguing with me and made it seem like we were somehow at fault for not saying anything during the first time she asked. We asked to speak with a manager, and Darlene told us that she was the manager. We weren't upset simply because we didn't like a dish. We understand that not every menu item is going to be everyone's taste. What we expected was basic customer service and an opportunity to actually communicate our concerns. Instead, we were blamed for not reporting an issue that we literally hadn't discovered yet, followed by a rude response when we attempted to explain it. The wings are still excellent, and we've had good experiences here before, which is why tonight was particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, Darlene's handling of the situation left a much worse impression than the food itself.

Good deal as I brought 4 wings home with me. I got the lemon pepper seasoning and it was perfect, not really wet but very crispy and tangy. The fries were actually really good too, thin and crispy, not just an after thought. I get what people say about the blue cheese. It's not a dressing or dip really. Hard to tell what to do with it. Press the blue cheese crumbles against the chicken. With my leftover wings at home I used my own blue cheese dressing to dip. But really the wings are so flavorful on their own, they don't need dip. The melted cheese and blue cheese sauce made it very wet and hard eat... you had to dig... don't get me wrong it was still good. Just misleading. Some of the best wings in Seattle. I had a snack size (5pc) of the original (naked) wings. Juicy and perfectly fried. I think the best way to judge any wing is how good they are without any sauce. I'll try some more flavors later. Good banh mi. The bread was excellent. However, the "grilled pork" option was puzzling. Tasted good, but was more like a char siu than a traditional lemongrass grilled pork. There wasn't any char-grilled flavor. It was still good though. Nice crisp crust of the bread without being too sturdy, if you know what I mean. Lots of other stuff on the menu I want to try. I didn't go for any of their house-made drinks. But I'll at least try a lemonade next time. Very pleasant and ample seating. A few outdoor picnic style tables and some nice tables inside with big windows. It's a nice space. My only gripe is the usual one. Seattle prices. The wings plus banh mi and a soda came to $30.50 with tax and tip. (I did have leftovers for later, so I did get a meal and a half out of it). The tipping options START at 20% on their point-of-sale (POS) tablet. There's probably a custom option, but I didn't bother since I normally tip 20% anyway. But it's a little pushy to start your tipping options at what is usually the upper limit for most people. This place is solid. I'm sure it's a godsend for tenants in the nearby apartments. And being centrally located, it's really not hard to get to. Next time your going to or from the eastside via I-90 bridge...go a few extra blocks north and get your grub on here.
