I placed an online order at 4:40pm. When I arrived at 4:55 3 of the 4 doors to enter were closed. I get to the register and no one is there to help. I have been eating at Pei Wei for years and found one locally near my hotel hasn't been a while since I've been there tried their new four pack platter absolutely delicious well-made great pricing and order it to go. They were super fast 15 minutes and right on the dot ready to go as I arrived. The atmosphere is your simple fast food but is on the upper side of fast food Chinese food. I highly recommend recommended if you're in the area in Addison Texas very century located easy to get to parking is easy and very friendly staff for management as well as the host. I've found my new favorite Pei Wei location. The place smells good (yes, that's important), the staff is friendly and the food is great! Fraiza greeted us from across the restaurant as we walked through the door. Her sparkling personality was certainly appreciated. I got an order of Dan Dan Noodles and a couple of pork egg rolls. Sweet Asian sauce came with the egg rolls and it was a good match, with just the right amount of heat. The egg rolls were perfect. Crispy on the outside and moist & tender inside. Best egg roll that I've had in a long while. The Dan Dan Noodles were excellent. The noodles were long and firm. The chicken and thick, spicy soy sauce was just right to make the dish perfect. The bean sprouts and slices of cucumber gave it a little crunch, too. We'll definitely return for more! read more

We enjoy this location it is clean and staff is always friendly. It is easy to get to from Addison road and also from Beltline. They have a large shared parking lot. We were greeted when we arrived and wS patient while we decided what to order. Had 1 cook and 1 clerk working when we got there. We got Dan Dan noodles and pork egg rolls. They were cooked perfectly noodles were soft and had a lot of chicken/sauce on them the cucumbers were crispy. The egg rolls were still warm when we got home-they didn't have sweet and sour sauce but did give us spicy Chilli packets which complimented the egg rolls perfectly. read more

Hire employees who have integrity and customer service skills - or train them. Don't leave a restaurant without a supervisor or manager in charge (at least that's what the employee told me). When a restaurant offers gluten free Lon their menu, and they even have a sticker on the product, how can an entire stack of fried wontons show up when delivered? And then when called, the restaurant employee said "no way. I saw the salad and it didn't have fried wontons." Really? I have a photo! And I ordered directly from their Addison restaurant official website, but the employee said they couldn't offer a refund or to make it again and deliver it. What? I can see why this place has awful reviews. I went with my 3 daughters and niece and nephew. My nephew's kids meal consisted of noodles and honey chicken. Well his noodles had MOLD on them. Literally! It was so disgusting. We returned them but didn't even get an apology. Everyone else in our party refused to eat their noodles afterwards. If you go here, don't order the noodles!!!! Earlier today around 12:23pm May 18th 2022 my pregnant wife ordered the Honey seared chicken from Pei Wei Asian Kitchen in Addison Texas and took a few bites but then noticed what looked like a baby cockroach on the side of her to go bowl. We were completely disgusted by discovering this and we called to complain and the manager was only going to refund us that one entree, she eventually refunded the whole thing. We tossed everything and were both disgusted the entire day. Such a bummer and can't believe that a chain like this would have this kind of an issue. The portion is huge. I think it can feed 2 people or 2 meals if you're eating by yourself haha. The sauce was a little spicy and the seasoning was just on point! I travel to Dallas once a month and almost without fail stop here at least once. Last month I had a less than favorable experience. After reporting the shortcoming this restaurant did a great job on service recovery. Since they tried so hard I felt obligated to return. I had the Mongolian beef with fried rice. The foot was perfect. The flavor and temperature were just right. I always feel PeiWei has a good quality beef product compared to most asian cuisine. I love ordering it extra spicy. It takes it up a notch and adds a lot if flavor. I am also a big fan of the Coca Cola freestyle machine. As a big soda drinker I often wish more restaurants offered them. However, the cooks must not have noticed because they are way bigger ver cooking the chicken. Taos and orange chicken at plano. Firecracker and orange chicken n addison were both tough and extremely chewy, not moist and tender Staff at both locations are super friendly but they have a high turnover or they are moving them around their different locations Inside is clean as is their parking lot. I've done curbside a couple times at this location. You're supposed to pull up and text your name and space number so they can bring your food out. I don't think that system works. I have noticed the last few times I have been in that there was no one eating there. Tonight I went and got takeout and was completely disappointed. My usual Pei Wei spicy chicken was barely edible. The vegetables were pretty much raw. The chicken looked and tasted like it was cooked yesterday. The steamed dumplings were raw or barely cooked. I have been a Pei Wei fan since 2011. When you're in the city and jonesing for some Chinese but don't want to take the risk of trying a hole-in-the-wall joint, Pei Wei is a safe bet. I have been to several Pei Weis in several cities and the food is consistent from restaurant to restaurant with great flavors and textures. I love their Kung Pao Chicken with extra egg and extra peanuts, because I am a total egg slut and I love the texture of peanuts in rice dishes. The snap peas offer that great crunch that I crave, also. The carrot, broccoli, and green onion all soak up the awesome sauce and elevate it to a whole other place. The way they prepare their chicken is great, also. Perfect exterior, nice and moist inside. I hate to admit a chain Chinese restaurant has my favorite anything, but their pork egg rolls are my all-time favorite, WHEN they're fresh. I will tell you the only thing that isn't consistent with Pei Wei is the service. That's the only thing that will ever change when you visit. Nine times out of ten the place is super busy and you'll be rushed along, but before that eats away at you, you've been served your meal and are eating away at that.
