The lunch line might seem long, but the staff power through it quickly. There are paper menus you can study while in line so you are ready to order when you saddle up to the counter. The menu is varied and plentiful so your picky eaters will likely find something they will enjoy and if you want to come here every day, you will find variety that will keep you satisfied. My BLT and Avocado was chalk full of crisp bacon - so much in fact, I pulled some out to share with my husband. He got a 12 inch French Dip and regretted letting his eyes convince himself that he could eat the whole thing without feeling wounded afterwards. LOL! This is a solid choice for a quick, affordable meal. Staff even loaded us up with a refill cup of tea and lemonade for the road. McAllister is our go to place for great food served quickly at great prices. The amount of meat they put on their sandwiches is just incredible...and their salads are always delicious! They have an EXCELLENT loyalty program. The last time we were there we got great, attentive service from the cashier and then from the manager who checked on us and got us refills. I went to McAlister's this weekend 4101 Lemmon Ave. I wanted Croissant Ham Mayo Onions Spring mix Tomatoes With a side of spicy mustard with extra tomatoe,onions with a bag of chips and drink. I usually love McAlister's. At this very moment, I have over 2000 points in my rewards account. That should give you an idea of of how much I eat there... Anyway, as of late, the quality and quantity has gone down, while the prices are going up. Today, I purchased a scoop of chicken salad for $3.99. When I got home and opened it up, it was so small. I'm so disappointed. If I'd seen it before I left, I would've just asked for my money back. I also purchased an entree. I asked for a pickle with my sandwich and they forgot that as well. Although, the reason for the review is the chicken salad, or lack thereof. Service was really slow today. So, they offered a cookie for the wait. I appreciate that. While out traveling between states my friend suggested we pull over and try a McAlisters Deli for lunch, we don't have any in California. I got the McAlisters Club with a side of mac & cheese an a cookie. I enjoyed the flavor of my sandwich and liked the bacon was crispy, the Mac and cheese was pretty good as well, however the cookie was stale and hard as a rock. Next time in the area I would try them again and see what the other sandwiches are like. read more

I ordered a BLT with avocado at the Waxahachie shop and it was not eatable. I couldn't even pick it up let a lone eat it. The bread was thin and not toasted. I ordered the same sandwich at another place the other day and it was perfect. This sandwich smelled as well, and not good. The sogginess made me feel sick. The slices of avocado are thicker than the bread. I honestly tried my best to try and eat it but I couldn't. I had to throw them out. Yes, them, I ordered two of them and they aren't cheap. I can't say anything about the service since I used doordash. Location is spacious and was very clean. I was greeted immediately. Order didn't take long at all, and it was well-packaged and neat. The food was on par to McAlisters menu, fresh, and tasted good. They have a pairing option to choose 2 and I had the McAlister club and club salad. I also added a soup, which was appropriately hot. Portion sizes were decent and the meal was a good value. Location is good for a good solo lunch or for a large group. Overall, I would definitely recommend this location if you're a deli foods fan. read more

So if you find another review for me underneath McAlister's deli... It's true I experienced that. But let me tell you who goes above and beyond their customer service.... Definitely McAlister's deli. I love the atmosphere when I go to McAlister's deli.... And I always have a great experience in person. Everything always fresh and great service. The reason why I gave McAlister's deli a bad review was because I had ordered off of Uber eats. Uber eats is the worst customer service ever. And even though it was Uber eats that messed up my order by not sending me out fresh food or just refunding my money. They decided to tell me that I had to accept whatever they felt like doing with my account and so they said that I wasn't eligible for a refund... But clearly you can go look at the last review that I did and you can definitely see that I needed some fresh food or refund. All that being said to say that McAlister's reached out to me in a matter of hours about this situation and that was after I had been dealing with Uber eats for a week and being so frustrated that I decided to review McAlister's on the internet. I appreciate McAllister's deli so much because they have definitely made it right with me and they are just showing why that's such an excellent place to get food from. They always have healthy and fresh options. Not to mention good size portions. And everything taste delicious. Especially my favorites... Which would be the croissant sandwich or even a clubhouse. Horrible and WAY overpriced We ordered a Spud, half a ham and cheese melt and 2 bowls of chicken and dumplings and 2 iced teas. The Spud was half the size they used to be, over cooked to the point of having a tough skin, one pat of butter and hard inside. The chicken and dumplings were soup with a bit of chicken that had been put through a food processor and about 3 dumplings that were absolute mush. I ordered a bowl size and it had less than a cup of the product in the small container. It was so small that I went back to the counter and asked if it was a cup or bowl size. It was barely half full. $26+ for the worst meal we've had in months. I will NEVER be back. read more

My favorite location! The food here is always so fresh and delicious! Their black Angus roast beef spud is amaaaaaaazing. My kid loves their just a spud. Our fruit cup today consisted of blueberries, strawberries, grapes, and pineapple and none of them were sugar soaked, they were naturally delicious. They get my order right every time, usually the other locations forget the pickle spear with the sandwich. And the staff here are so welcoming. The restaurant is clean and inviting. I love McAlister's because you can get a relatively healthy meal for a reasonable price. I've been to this location three or four times now, and finally realized I needed to download their app so that I'd earn rewards for my loyalty! The employees are friendly and efficient. Twice I've ordered the "choose 2" option with a half sandwich and a half baked potato -- and the half potato is generous and almost more than I can finish.
