Cut into it and that runny yolk pours right over the warm corned beef, adding an extra layer of rich, creamy goodness. Messy in exactly the right way. We also had the liver pâté and egg salad, along with the classic pickles and crunchy bagel chips. Everything tasted fresh, generous, and exactly like a great old-school deli meal should. There are plenty of places to get a sandwich in Dallas, but when it comes to this kind of deli food, Deli News is hard to beat. Great portions, great flavors, and food that makes you want to come back before you've even finished lunch. That corned beef, egg, and runny yolk combination alone is worth the trip. Cannot beat it anywhere in Dallas.

First, the spot is actually really cozy and has a well-maintained neighborhood vibe. It's self-seating so we picked a spot near the huge flatscreen so we could also watch a little television. Service was friendly and attentive. The menu is HUGE, so maybe study it a bit to cut down on decision fatigue. I was initially torn between a breakfast plate and the cheese blintzes. I figured, why not go with the blintzes, because you don't really see as an option much these days. I also got a side of cherry compote and orange juice. The orange juice was nice and pulpy. As for the cheese blintzes and the cherry compote- I think I could've done without it- it made it too sweet. But, it was served in the side, so iI just didn't eat much of it. The blintzes themselves were very good and definitely had a very gratifying texture. Slightly sweet on their own, but not too much. My husband had the franks and beans. I didn't try them, but I did snag a French fry and it was very good- golden and perfectly crispy with a piping hot soft center. Prices were a bit steep, but this is a neighborhood restaurant and iI think it's always good to support locally when you can. Goodness knows, prices for goods is high and labor is not cheap. Overall, I would definitely consider coming here again, but this time I would like to try one of their breakfast plates to get a better baseline.

She was in the deli eating with her makeup artist. She and her friend were eating two different sandwiches. They made it look so good. They were talking and smacking, and it seemed like they were having a good "Ole" time. I couldn't wait for the opportunity to eat at the deli. Well, the deli didn't disappoint! The food is incredibly delicious! The owners/chefs are the sweetest people. The first time I ate their hot link and egg sandwich. It was soooo good. I wasn't very hungry, but ate the whole sandwich. The 2nd time I ate their lunch special. That was equally delicious. It was deli turkey, cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a croissant and a side of chips. They have a variety of chips to choose from, so I selected one of my favorites, Sun Chips. My mom enjoyed her breakfast sandwich too! It is a small place with a few tables.
