It was pretty tight to eat, about 20% of the table is taken up by the accessory caddy, anything a person might need. I think it would be more efficient to have some of that where the server brings it, have more room for everything on the table. My two cents. I ordered the Americano and couldn't tell if it was an Americano or if it was drip coffee. The fig omelette was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed it, and I would certainly want to have another one. The figs throughout as well as a smear of the fig jam on top was quite good. It would've been nice with the toast I offered to have a side of the same jelly as opposed to dealing with the conventional shelf stable smuckers or welches, whatever it was, for grapes, strawberry My my daughter ordered the orange juice. It was very fresh and very nice tasting. I couldn't tell if they actually squeezed it in the back or they had a machine. Either way, it's well executed She's a simple girl, and she just wanted a simple waffle. The batter tasted quite good; however, what I envisioned for a waffle is that it's got a crispness or a crunch to it. It was more like A pancake. It could've been the fact that it wasn't turned up high enough, or maybe they didn't use the correct type of release spray that gives that frying effect. Not sure, but it's an easy tweak The service was quite good. They were friendly, very efficient, and good at anticipation. I like the feel of it, even though it was completely full. They were very efficient on getting people seated and tables turned. I think they did a great job there, and it felt very cozy as well, other than the fact that I felt like I was eating with a plate on my knees because the table's just frankly too small if they're gonna add that huge caddy to it Certainly would try again

All choices delicious! Salvador was one of our waiters and WOW! Ask to be seated in his section if he's there! He even brought extra napkins before I asked for them (how did he know I'm kind of messy?! ). On top of all that he is super polite, professional, pleasant

My table had everything a customer could request, such as hot sauce and ketchup. The tables at the benches had sufficient space, but on my two-top, the items took about a third of the surface area. As soon as I was seated, my waiter came by to get my drink order. It was a drastic change since my last visit. When he returned with the coffee, I needed some more time as I barely had a chance to view the menu. He passed by a few more times and refilled my mug without being asked. I ordered The Connection and chose the crepes. Although slightly more costly, I should have chosen the crepes and a side of the sausages. I would have gotten more of what I enjoyed, such as another crepe, and none of the bacon, which I disliked. Its crispy level was set to extreme. I enjoyed the sausages, but did confirm they were pork due to their coloring.

The steak was very tender and flavorful (surprised) and the potatoes had the perfect balance of crisp and tender with light salt . My wife's enjoyed her eggs, sausage and pancakes. The pancakes were very fluffy with powdered sugar on top. Great breakfast!

The space has a bright, sunny feel that instantly makes it inviting, and I can already picture how cute and lively it would be as a brunch spot on the weekends. I ordered the Baja chicken omelette, and it did not disappoint. The eggs were light and fluffy, and the chicken had really nice flavor throughout. It was topped with a scoop of salsa and a crema sauce that added just the right amount of freshness and richness--everything worked together perfectly. The home fries were another standout--crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and seasoned really well. And the biscuit? Absolutely delicious. It was cooked just right--soft, warm, and the perfect complement to the meal. When I first arrived, I was the only one there for a bit, but more people started coming in shortly after. I believe the menu said it has been around since 1975, and it shows. They did it right back then it seems, and they're doing it right now. Traditional southern breakfast food is simple and tasty- you won't get any high end crazy things like other breakfast and brunch places, but you'll get exactly what you expect and it will be made exactly the way it should be. The food tastes like home. It's very cozy, very familiar, very very tasty. I recommend the country scramble; such a great classic white gravy and perfectly fluffy biscuits, and some wonderfully scrambled eggs.
