Avocado toast

This place is our go-to for breakfast. Great service, food, and coffee. Very clean, well lit and maintained. Love the avocado toast!

My girlfriend and I just enjoyed a delicious meal at Sunny Street Cafe. Ambiance is quaint and clean and service was on point. My chicken salad sandwich was yummy and my friends waffle was gigantic!

Food was mediocre pancakes slightly burnt, and omelettes did not live up to expectation. Restaurant should be rated more 3 star than 4 very misleading. The cold brew was good however

I heard about this cafe so I decided to pick up 2 muffins to go. They were both extremely dry, not edible at all. Disappointed.

Egg whites, wheat toast, fruit and chicken sausage.

Nice and clean, friendly service from Samantha she was great and fast. The food was so fresh and hot, I got an entree from the light menu and the chicken sausage was so flavorful! And a cup of nice hot coffee

Appetizing presentation

I was in the area and googled this place based on their vegetarian options. Great location, easy access near the highway. The restaurant is clean and has cute basic decor indoor and outdoor. The hostess Liz provided a 7.5/10 service at the door, she did her job. After being seated it was about a 7-8 minute wait before my waitress Hannah approached. Only after one of the other waitresses said "who has table 12". I wasn't greeted until after a couple, who walked in 6 minutes after I did. I'm going to say it was because of where I was sitting in my booth, back to the main walkway. Hannah was very friendly and did her job as well. I enjoyed the music selection as it was very calming country music. Menu was easy to read through, I ordered the Breakfast Quesadillas with beans and the French toast crunch. The quesadillas were absolutely delicious. French toast was pretty good, 8/10, didn't taste very many walnuts on the crunch part of it. The picture of the French toast is what prompted me to order it. Not bad, pretty decent for a $22 breakfast. 6.5/10 chance I will recommend or go back.

Coffee, mimosa

Elegant cafe with all the usual breakfast things. They have wonderful coffee and mimosas, and there are lunch items like burgers, soup, and sandwiches as well. Everything that we've tried so far has been delicious.

First up, the pirogies--holy moly, these little pockets of joy were just unreal. Perfectly soft, stuffed to the brim, and fried up just right. I'm pretty sure if my tasted these, she'd give a polite nod and say, "Not bad, eh?" Then came the pot roast poutine, and let me tell ya--this isn't just food, it's a life experience. You've got those crispy fries, squeaky cheese curds (as they should be, eh!), and gravy so rich it could probably pay rent in Toronto. And then--BAM--tender pot roast on top. I nearly stood up and sang "O Canada," no joke. Now the Canadian Eggs Benedict? Ohhh, beauty. The peameal bacon was thick, juicy, and cooked just right, sittin' pretty under those poached eggs with hollandaise sauce that was smoother than a fresh sheet of ice. Absolute perfection, eh. And don't even get me started on the everyday breakfast. Classic, hearty, and no funny business--just how we like it. Eggs done right, toast that actually tastes like toast (imagine that!), and portions big enough to fuel ya through a full day of shovelin' snow... or, you know, strolling around Dallas. All in all, Maple Leaf Diner absolutely crushed it. Let me tell ya, the service was so fast and smooth, I thought I was dreaming eh. Great food, friendly vibes, and enough Canadian charm to make ya wanna say "sorry" when someone else bumps into you. 10/10, would recommend--now pass the syrup, eh?

Even when we weren't sure about which appetizers we wanted she allowed us to split appetizers- a small portion where we got to try the apps. We tried the tenderloin crostini which was delicious. Along with coconut shrimp. The shrimp were ginormous. And the sauces were so good. Our fav was the mango marmalade. The best bread I have ever had in my life!!!! You know how sometimes they bring a roll to the table for the table to share? Not here boyeeeee Each person gets their own roll. I don't even know how to explain this heavenly bread. It truly is the best beard I have ever had before. I would come eat here again JUST FOR THE BREAD. The crab cake is out of this world. Huge jumbo clumps. Also comes with a variety of sauces. The wasabi one was our favorite. You must order the crab cake! My husband got the ribeye rare and said it was the best steak he has had, and he eats a ton of steak. I got their off menu item of carne asada tacos. The meat was sooooo tender. They don't use flank steak they use a tenderloin and it just melts. The mushrooms were Devine. Glad I ordered the carne asada. The adult Mac and cheese was good but just good. Brussels sprouts were good (not the best I have had) but I think I was also just so full by this point. The asparagus is huge!!! Oh the best finisher ever- the peanut butter pie!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! I'm not even a dessert girl and I couldn't stop eating it. First time me and my husband were fighting over the last bite.

Warm wood tones, beautiful lighting, and that perfect upscale-yet-cozy feel make the whole place feel special. The location is ideal too -- easy to get to and surrounded by that lively Shops at Legacy energy without any of the chaos. But the food? Next level. The elk tacos were straight-up fantastic -- perfectly seasoned, tender elk, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of heat. I could have eaten a second order without hesitation. Then came the chicken fried steak, and it did not disappoint. Crispy, golden crust, juicy and flavorful meat, and that classic creamy gravy that tastes like it was made with love. Every bite was pure comfort food elevated. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful and elevated, yet still warm and welcoming. If you're in Plano and want a restaurant that nails both the food and the atmosphere, Haywire is it. I'm already planning my next visit. Hands-down 10/10. It's got that Texas feel to it, but cleaned up a bit. Comfortable, but still a little polished. The food was really solid across the board. You know how brunch can sometimes just be... fine? This wasn't that. Everything tasted like someone actually cared about it. Good seasoning, cooked right, and just enough creativity without overdoing it. It still felt like brunch, just done properly. Drinks were great too. Not over-the-top, just well-made and easy to enjoy. Definitely the kind of place where one turns into two without much convincing. Service was smooth--friendly, attentive, but relaxed. Nobody hovering, nobody rushing you out. Just a good flow to the whole meal. We ended up sitting there longer than we planned, just hanging out and enjoying it, which probably says the most. If you're in Frisco and want a brunch spot that actually feels worth going to, Haywire's a safe bet.
