I hadn't been to a Potbelly in years. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the menu is much better than last time I visited several years ago. I got the skinny turkey avocado sandwich combo with a cup of broccoli cheese soup. I was able to customize my sandwich and add hot peppers and spicy ranch which were both great. Everything was packaged pretty well and was ready on the pick up rack when I arrived. Would not hesitate to return. read more

Ordered in the app, went to pick up, my food was behind the register. Only 1 employee up front while the others were in the back laughing and giggling amongst themselves. I wasn't greeted nor acknowledged when I arrived. The employee was moving so slow. I waited patiently got him to finish making the sandwich then he proceeded to start another sandwich slowly, finally I said excuse me that's my pickup order on the counter he stopped and looked at me then handed me the bag slowly. Service has gone down hill. I've been coming here for 15 years. It's always the same crap attitude from the same tall dark skinned guy who obviously hates his job and people. I could be having a great day, see him and my mood is ruined. He is unpleasant and unprofessional. I've heard him talking about inappropriate things, got my order wrong seemingly on purpose and again today looked at me with the face of disgust and hate.. as soon as I got to the counter there to get my sand which made, he ran to the bathroom and honestly I'm happy because I would've been upset if he made mine as it's been wrong and made without any care! Wow really surprised about todays encounter.... I was waiting behind a couple and the potbelly employee (who was wearing all blue, tall and dark skinned) was telling their friends that it was OK to take their time with their order. At first I didn't mind it but then he didn't seem to care to take my order so another employee came in to help out...when my sandwich was ready the tall lanky kid in blue just ignored me, just took off his gloves and sat down to eat with his friends...he left his other employees to finish my order AGAIN so he could go sit down and hang out with his friends during work... what kind of customer service is this... this kid is beyond lazy and rude. My company has ordered many times over the last 3 years from the same location for either pick-up or delivery. Not once have we been disappointed in our order. I placed a catering order yesterday (6/28) and since it was late in the afternoon, I chose to pickup the order so as not to overwhelm their lunch time process. This morning (6/29) I get a call from Garth McCreath (mgr) informing me that said they would be glad to deliver the order so I would not have to get out in the heat! Sounds good to me!!!! wow!! I loved this place! It is a refreshing break from the idiotic 5 for 1 commercials and the q's attempts to match them. I got a tuna salad sandwich that was toasted with all the fixin's. Not enormous and dripping with condiments, but made just right. And I love the fact that their large is a small in comparison to the fast food joints. read more

I placed an order on the Potbelly app at 11:45 today and for an hour and a half the tracker has only showed that the order is received. There is not an option on line to cancel the order and I called the store several times over the course of an hour until they finally answered. Daisey said she is the manager but will have to get with her District Manager Kamra to actually be able to refund my money for an order I never received. She could not give me any contact information for the DM and could not tell me when I should receive the refund. Potbelly is one of my favorite restaurants but it seems like every time I order from this location there is an issue with either never receiving the order, the order being severely delayed, or with the items in the order being incorrect. I will no longer be ordering from this location. I called the corporate headquarters as well but had to leave a message. I have seen Potbelly around a few locations in Dallas but have never been into one, and I actually didn't know what kind of food they had! I stopped in to this location in Addison on Belt Line on the way home. The restaurant was clean and had some good 80s music playing. In case you don't know, they serve sandwiches, salads, soups and some baked goods, as well as shakes and smoothies. I ended up getting a large chicken sandwich on toasted whole wheat. I'm not a big fan of toasted bread, but it didn't taste too bad. The chicken salad had flavor and filled me up. They had a few other flavors on their menu that look like they would taste pretty good. They weren't busy, so it didn't take long to have my sandwich ready. And, the best thing, I got a free cookie for being such a handsome guy! No, really, I did get a free cookie but they told me because it was my first time in there and they wanted to give me one! It was a large oatmeal chocolate chip cookie it was pretty tasty! I was happy about that. My first time there, and my first sandwich there wasn't bad. I'll check it out again. read more

I have consistently come to Potbelly throughout my life and never have I had such shitty made sandwiches then this location. This Potbelly was busy during the lunch rush, but that doesn't mean you have to rush so much that the quality of the sandwich goes down. My sandwich today had the smallest amount of meat I have ever seen. How is sandwich shop going to rip someone off that bad? I am consistently just tasting the bread and hot peppers. Today I couldn't even eat my sandwich because there was cheese put on it and I am not able to eat cheese. Potbelly, please note that rushing through a "lunch rush" is not going to get you good results. Went into today and ordered 2 different sandwiches one for me and one for a co-worker (The Clubby and Italian) like they come but light lettuce. Get them back to my office for us to eat. The Clubby was missing both the ham and bacon that is supposed to come on it and had jalapeños, bell pepper, onion and pickles (that is not supposed to come on it). The Italian also had jalapeños, bell peppers and pickles on it which was not how it is shown to come. I visited this location today to run in and get a quick bite for the drive home from work after shopping at Snap Kitchen. I was treated incredibly well by staff especially ( apologies ) I believe her name was Lisa. I went to use my phone to pay and the kind lady shared " we don't take Apple Pay." I was like what??? Your kidding right? She shared they only take cash and card at this time. I had not brought my wallet in so I shared I would go get it and be right back. Lisa stopped me and said " sir it's pouring down raining and I am not going to ask you to run to your car and run back in here again just t to pay. I was confused. She shared she would cover my sandwich today and apologized for the inconvenience of not having Apple Pay. So I must say I was in shock at what just happened and was so thankful that she truly cared not just about me as a customer but as a person. I love the "skinny" - 1/3 less bread!! Who needs more bread, anyway?? Potbelly is definitely a step up from Subway, Quiznos, and Togos. Cheaper too! I've had the Italian sandwich and roasted turkey sandwich both on whole wheat "skinny." Toppings include peppers (watch out! these are spicy!), mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Italian seasoning and oil. Next time I think I'll get a milkshake. read more

Addison has more sandwich shops on Belt Line than Romo has notches on his bedpost. Sadly, Potbelly isn't really a winner here and I think there are better options on the block (*cough* Which Wich *cough*) One thing that I do like is that you can order your sandwich as "Thin-Cut" (1/3 less bread) or "Skinny" (1/3 less bread and less meat/cheese) to cut calories. However, their sloppy technique really makes for a messy lunch. Take last Friday for example. I stopped in right at noon, and as expected, the line was at least 20 deep. It went rather quickly and I was out of there in 15 minutes, but it's pretty obvious how they can go through so many people so quickly. I ordered a thin-cut turkey on white. The process was going smoothly until I got to the toppings dude. I asked for everything but oil be added; but because he was so concerned about talking to his co-workers and what sandwich was in line next, he poured enough oil on to fry a batch french fries. Of course, you can't see them add the toppings because of the height of the counter, so I didn't discover this until I left. Poot. Unfortunately, I spent my lunch going through ten napkins and making sure I didn't get the messy sandwich all over my new jeans. It tasted alright, but I felt really icky after eating all of that oil, mayo and mustard. Oh, and get some better chip options. Blech. read more
