While in Dallas stopped for lunch at @thainoodlewave, this is a spot that I am a fan of. The Dallas location (forest & preston) is a to-go location with a few seats inside and a few tables outside. We ordered Tom Yum Soup, Satay, Wings, Steamed Dumplings, Tung Tac, and Kaow Soy. first off, the food was on point, and I enjoyed the Satay, Thai Style Wings, and Dumplings. I was really excited about the Kaow Soy since I do like the Memoni and the Burmese styles (both are quite different), so I really wanted to try it. and honestly, it is now my favorite item here. the beef was perfectly tender, and the curry was full of flavor. it all just went well together. overall, this is a great spot. I definitely will be back.

I think this place may have been over hyped for me before I came. I didn't find it very exciting, feels more fast food format with a lot of plastic containers and utensils (we were dining in). The green curry with crispy chicken was okay, I didn't expect the frozen peas and carrots as I was thinking more fresh veggies in this one. The pad thai was good though!

Delicious food and great portions! This location focuses on to-go orders, so I would recommend going to a different one if you want a sit down experience. There are still tables inside if you would like. I really enjoyed the Thai noodle soup.

I got the crab fried rice and egg rolls my sister got the roti curry. Amazing flavor! I love fresh taste and flavor and this spot has it. Small location with only bar seating but great customer service as well! Will definitely go back especially for their lunch prices!

$14.95 Chicken Pad Thai is missing flavor. I've had $11 ones that were more flavorful. They added more sauce when I complained but it still was missing a key seasoning (I don't know what). I could taste the peanut seasoning but that's all. It was made fresh but again doesn't taste like a normal pad Thai. I've never cooked it at home so I couldn't tell you what it is I can only describe what was missing. It needed more salt, heat (spice) and a little bit of sweetness. I just ate the chicken and egg. They don't have the central heat on, they have a small space heater instead. So it's pretty chilly and uncomfortable inside. The man in charge was defensive said he was from Thailand and that's how they make their Pad Thai.

Worst experience ever. The food literally tasted rotten. It tasted like it was from weeks ago and thrown in the microwave the chicken was so chewy and sauce was gelatin after an hour . I'll take all the cons but I couldn't stomach the taste of rancid food. I have always had a good experience at noodle wave and this was my first time trying this location and I will never go back to this location. Noodle wave franchise please look into this location and fix all the problems that they have because everything from A-to-Z had problems going on. Not to mention we found blood splattered in our car when we left . Never again . Noodle wave has always been my favorite and I never had a bad experience till now .

Pad Thai is overly sweet. Place is geared for take out, transactional service. Nothing to write home about here.

The food is always quite good, usually done sooner than predicted as well. A big fan of their Singapore noodles.

I ordered the Pork Ba, Pickled Smashed Cucumbers, Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings, Pork Bao Zi, and Peach Dessert Dumplings. The Pickled Smashed Cucumbers with the sweet and spicy chili dressing were a nice start, but the Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings were fairly unremarkable. They weren't bad, but they reminded me of gyoza I've had at many other restaurants and didn't particularly stand out. The Pork Bao Zi had one of the better fillings of the meal. The pork itself was flavorful and delicious, but the bao bun was very plain and lacked enough flavor to complement the filling. I was especially interested in trying the Peach Dessert Dumplings because they sounded so unique. They were definitely an interesting treat, but ultimately fell a little short for me. The peach filling tasted more like preserves or jam than a fresh fruit-based filling, which made them sweeter and less balanced than I expected. The restaurant itself has a modern, clean, open interior and a casual atmosphere. One thing worth mentioning is that it was fairly warm inside, probably around 78°F. It wasn't unbearable for me, but with North Texas temperatures easily reaching 100°F+, some diners may find the dining room warmer than comfortable. Parking is also somewhat limited, so keep that in mind during busier times. Overall, I'm glad I tried Hello Dumpling, especially after seeing it on *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives*. There were some enjoyable flavors and creative ideas, but based on this visit, the food didn't quite live up to the expectations I had from the TV feature. I'd give it a solid 3 stars and will go back to try some fresh noodle entrees.

I had two seasonal signatures that were perfect summer refreshers. My first was a pineapple rum cocktail called Lewis Street Daiquiri. The second was a very creative spin on a Negroni made with tequila instead of gin. Lewis Street Daiquiri uses a pineapple rum combined with Yuzu Kosho cordial. A yuzu kosho cordial is a sweet, syrup flavored with yuzu citrus and a spicy Japanese chili paste. It's a creative way bartenders add sweetness, acidity, and a spicy kick to recipes. It definitely had all of that along with a bit of a sour feel to it with some light froth from some vigorous shaking. It's really tasty. The second cocktail is JuJu's Negroni. I've never seen a tequila Negroni variation. They use a Blanco tequila, JuJu's coffee, Pamplemousse (grapefruit), and coconut. JuJu is a local East Dallas coffee shop around the corner from MHB. I love the local touch to use a neighbor's ingredient. I cant remember why is has a red tint given the ingredients, but it must be the combination of the coffee and grapefruit liqueur. I think i remember them saying they clarified some combination of the ingredients, but i cant remember. Regardless, it was delicious ams you should definitely try it. You don't need an excuse to go to MHB because it's one of the best restaurants in Dallas and is Michelin recommended. I would go@back for both of these cocktails like we do for the world famous garlic noodles. Go try these beauties and visit our hood because it's one of the best joints we have to offer in Dallas. Our server was attentive, provided us menus and the restaurant's decor created a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that transported me back to Okinawa Japan. After traveling abroad, it is especially refreshing to find authentic Japanese cuisine in the United States, and Hinodeya Ramen truly stands out in that regard. We ordered several katsu curry plates, bento boxes for the children, and started with an order of gyoza as an appetizer. The gyoza arrived crisp on the outside with a juicy filling that we demolished within minutes of being placed on the table. The katsu curry arrived as crispy cutlets paired with a thick, curry sauce that was rich and delicious. The chicken bento boxes contained a variety of vegetables, rice and their selection of proteins. Our meal was flavorful, and absolutely delicious. This establishment also brought back memories for my sister and me of our time serving abroad in Okinawa. The rich flavors, the spicy curry, and the authenticity of the cooking made it feel like a small return to Japan. Finding Japanese food that encompasses those flavors is not easy to find, but this restaurant truly delivered. I highly recommend Hinodeya Ramen for anyone looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience in Dallas. It will absolutely be my go-to spot whenever I'm back in the area!
