    Peking Noodle with Pork

This location is beautifully decorated and has the same great quality of food as the other location. The surrounding shopping center is also a great place to walk around or have a date. The staff is friendly and the noodles and soup were excellent. I ordered the Peking noodles and my wife loved the Beef Noodle Soup. Will come again!

Pork Dumplings with Napa Cabage, Shanghai Noodle Not bad! The dumplings were decent. The noodles super bland, but a good texture.

This place is such a hidden gem! It's tucked away in an adorable but low-key little shopping center. The food is consistently on point- I always order the Shanghai noodles & pork rice dumplings, but the basil chicken bites are *chef's kiss*! Their patio area is my favorite in the city. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you're anywhere close to Walnut Hill!

I stopped by Hello Dumpling while visiting Dallas. When you walk up they have a humongous dumpling with huge chopsticks and as you come around the corner they have a really cute outdoor dining area. When you walk into the restaurant, you are welcomed with really cute decor, soft inviting colors, and really fun hanging lamps. They have a pretty good variety of options on their menu, my husband went with the chicken dumplings and he said they were no better or worse than any other chicken dumplings. He ordered me the chicken basil bites because it is one of the gluten-free items that he was able to get for me and they were absolutely amazing, very hot and fresh with a nice crisp and perfect amount of seasoning. And I absolutely loves the crispy basil that was hidden between the chicken! We also got the chicken dumplings steamed in rice and I wish they had a crispy option because the soft mushy rice was really weird. The flavor was good but the texture for me personally was just very offputting. My kids got the pork dumplings which they absolutely loved, they said it had way more flavor than the chicken and they wish they would have ordered more. All in all it's a cute place with good options, just make sure you ask all necessary questions before you order something you may be I'm sure about.

Delicious hidden gem and a must go (again and again!) First you need to take photo with the giant dumpling and chopsticks outside! Check out the specials (near the cashier), we got a pork over noodles special that was amazing. I definitely wanted to try the shanghai noodles too. Then we had to order dumplings, absolutely loved the fish dumplings! It's rare to see dumplings with fish in the filling, big chunks of fish! We've had the rice dumplings which are to die for so if you've never had dumplings wrapped with rice, you gotta get those. For starters we got the cucumber salad and it's so refreshing and a little tangy!

Came here after finding out that there is a second Hello Dumping location in Dallas. The other one was closed on a Sunday. The ambiance was welcoming. The service was quick. I had the beef noodle soup which was delicious. We also had vegetable dumplings which were great. This has become my favorite spot to eat Chinese noodles in Dallas.

A LITERAL hidden gem, homemade noddles and dumplings. We tried a variety of things and were not disappointed. If we were disappointed it was the fact that we had never been before now. Service was amazing, I should of gotten the cashiers name but she was amazing and even ended up selling me on a yummy Green Tea with Passion Fruit and Lychee popping boba after my meal was over. ( I will be back for the mentioned ice cream sandwiches) We sat in the cute booth and knocked out work during our lunch date, free wifi and good food? My new favorite hidden spot for lunch or even a spontaneous dinner.

Delicious dumplings that you can enjoy while the little ones play in the massive play area! What's not to love. We make this our appetizer / course 1 stop whenever we are in the Hill area. The food is super tasty and the service is prompt. We've had the chicken and mushroom dumplings along with the basil chicken bites. All super tasty and fresh! Pro tip: they serve joy macaroon ice cream sandwiches!

This is quite the hidden gem. Not visible from the street, but worth the short walk to get here. It's bright and clean inside making it very inviting. The braised beef soup noodles are perfectly seasoned and the beef is very tender. I was worried that the large chunks would be difficult to eat, but that wasn't the case. The dumplings are always fresh and flavorful. The staff is super friendly and helpful with any questions you may have.

DON'T COME HERE FOR BOBA!!! IT WAS TRASH I was craving fresh dumplings and I decided to stop by and try this place out. This place had a pretty decent line for it being a Saturday. The cashier was really sweet and answered the questions I had on the menu items. The dumplings came out pretty fast. Thankfully they tasted super fresh and the veggies were crunchy. The only issue I had with them is that they were lukewarm. As for the boba...I drink a lot of boba so I am aware of how fresh boba tastes-this boba was smiley and hard. It tasted like the frozen boba you get at the grocery store and make in the microwave. Also they barely served any boba in the drink. Overall this spot was pretty underwhelming and I don't think I'll be giving it another chance.

Shrimp dumplings. I had reheat when i got home. Long drive. Worth the trip. Reheated they were great. 2 minutes in boiling water.

    Are there vegan options?

About half the menu is Vegan. No dairy or eggs are used so all the vegetarian options are vegan. Unfortunately the milk teas, while they use a non-dairy creamer, contain casein derived from milk so they are not Vegan.

I ordered the Pork Ba, Pickled Smashed Cucumbers, Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings, Pork Bao Zi, and Peach Dessert Dumplings. The Pickled Smashed Cucumbers with the sweet and spicy chili dressing were a nice start, but the Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings were fairly unremarkable. They weren't bad, but they reminded me of gyoza I've had at many other restaurants and didn't particularly stand out. The Pork Bao Zi had one of the better fillings of the meal. The pork itself was flavorful and delicious, but the bao bun was very plain and lacked enough flavor to complement the filling. I was especially interested in trying the Peach Dessert Dumplings because they sounded so unique. They were definitely an interesting treat, but ultimately fell a little short for me. The peach filling tasted more like preserves or jam than a fresh fruit-based filling, which made them sweeter and less balanced than I expected. The restaurant itself has a modern, clean, open interior and a casual atmosphere. One thing worth mentioning is that it was fairly warm inside, probably around 78°F. It wasn't unbearable for me, but with North Texas temperatures easily reaching 100°F+, some diners may find the dining room warmer than comfortable. Parking is also somewhat limited, so keep that in mind during busier times. Overall, I'm glad I tried Hello Dumpling, especially after seeing it on *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives*. There were some enjoyable flavors and creative ideas, but based on this visit, the food didn't quite live up to the expectations I had from the TV feature. I'd give it a solid 3 stars and will go back to try some fresh noodle entrees.

Between the four of us we ordered the roti canai -- with an extra piece of roti, since the base only comes with two, roti murtabak, two orders of the pork belly baos, chili crisp cucumbers, nasi lemak, beef haw fun, and bò tái chanh -- Vietnamese rare beef salad. Overall, the food was outstanding. I feel like the restaurant took all the greatest hits from every Asian culture and put them together on the menu. My favorite dish of the night was a toss up between the rare beef salad, the roti, and the pork belly baos. I loved how crispy and flaky the roti was and the curry dipping sauce that it was paired with was super aromatic, nutty, and rich. The pork belly in the baos was incredibly tender, well-marinated, and had a nice balance between lean and fatty parts. If you enjoy sour dishes, you will love the rare beef salad: there is enough lime in the dish to make you pucker. Every bite is a concentrated punch of flavors, and there is a nice variety of texture between the chopped peanuts, thinly sliced onions, rare beef, and crispy rice cracker. If you're in this part of town looking for a dinner spot, I would not hesitate to recommend Hawkers Asian Street Food. In addition to the solid food menu, the service and drinks were equally spectacular.

I accidentally mixed up the broth and curry so we essentially ended up with curry ramen, but honestly it was delicious so it worked out. I did not realize the ramen broth is a dashi broth, which is clear instead of cloudy, so I mistook the curry for the ramen broth. Clearly my brain was not working that night but it ended up being a happy accident. One thing to note is that they charge extra for spice levels above level 2 and the price increases with each level. We got level 3 for both items and it was genuinely spicy. You will feel it while eating and definitely after as well. Hinodeya Special ($20.70) + Oni-kara Level 3 ($1) + Naruto ($1.50) + Inari Fried Sweet Tofu ($3) = $26.20: We swapped to spinach noodles which worked really well. The naruto came in 4 big thick slices but did not have much flavor to me. The tofu came in 3 small thin strips that were sweet but I did not think they were worth the add on price. Sukiyaki Curry ($22.42) + Oni-kara Level 3 ($1) + Spicy Pork ($4.50) = $27.92: You can tell this is homemade curry because the color and taste were completely different from the store bought curry roux you typically find elsewhere. It was creamy and made from a pork stock soup which is apparently also used in their ramen. The beef was a bit too fatty for me but I absolutely loved the spicy pork. I loved both items and will 100% be reordering from here. Can not wait to try their other items too.

Our server was attentive, provided us menus and the restaurant's decor created a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that transported me back to Okinawa Japan. After traveling abroad, it is especially refreshing to find authentic Japanese cuisine in the United States, and Hinodeya Ramen truly stands out in that regard. We ordered several katsu curry plates, bento boxes for the children, and started with an order of gyoza as an appetizer. The gyoza arrived crisp on the outside with a juicy filling that we demolished within minutes of being placed on the table. The katsu curry arrived as crispy cutlets paired with a thick, curry sauce that was rich and delicious. The chicken bento boxes contained a variety of vegetables, rice and their selection of proteins. Our meal was flavorful, and absolutely delicious. This establishment also brought back memories for my sister and me of our time serving abroad in Okinawa. The rich flavors, the spicy curry, and the authenticity of the cooking made it feel like a small return to Japan. Finding Japanese food that encompasses those flavors is not easy to find, but this restaurant truly delivered. I highly recommend Hinodeya Ramen for anyone looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience in Dallas. It will absolutely be my go-to spot whenever I'm back in the area!
