Only food with flavor was the spring rolls and the hot & sour soup. If I return, that will be my order.

This location is located off of 75 and there is plenty of parking and the center is nicely maintained. The restaurant is clean and modern and the waitress was very friendly. The Thai tea with boba was very watered down and the boba was okay. The pan fried dumplings had an okay filling, but not super flavorful. The braised beef noodle soup was hearty, but also lacking umami and the noodles were a little too soft. The rice dumplings were actually quite good, and they were nicely steamed and seasoned well. The Peking noodle with pork was also lacking flavor and it was just okay. My diagnosis: come here for the rice dumplings.

The restaurant itself is large and well laid out. We started with the Scallion Pancake Beef Role which was the best version of this dish I have had in a long time. Tender beef and fresh pancakes! It's one of those places that's easy to return to because the experience is consistently solid, not just the food. The cucumber and spinach salads are almost automatic orders for us at this point. They're reliably bright and well balanced, and come out quick. We also make a point to check out the specials whenever they're available. They tend to reward repeat visits and usually give us something new to talk about on the way home. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the staff. They're consistently well trained, kind, and attentive without being overbearing. Even on busy nights, things move smoothly and calmly, which matters a lot when you're fitting dinner into a full family schedule. At this point, Hello Dumpling feels dependable in the best way. It's a place we trust for a good meal, thoughtful execution, and a welcoming experience every time.

There was plenty of flavor in the meat juice imbueing the dish, fresh vegetables tasted like spring breeze and sweetened fish sauce tied everything together like ka-pow. Shaking tenderloin - the butterfly pea flour rice was purple (a fun gimmick) and woof, the marinated beef tenderloin was a huge success. I really enjoyed how tender and juicy the meat was - I kept chewing to savor the flavor for some time. Cha gio chat - these were served fresh out of the fryer and came in piping hot. Not a problem since we enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying our drinks. The bartenders were great, fast and very friendly. I appreciate that before pouring my wine, the one bartender put in a lot of effort to buffing my glass. I ordered a plum wine to start, which is always delicious and sweet. We were seated a little earlier than 20 minutes, but unfortunately weren't greeted for a bit following that. They were super busy though. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable, and we stuck with splitting apps versus getting ramen. We ordered the shishito peppers, karaage, takoyaki, and edamame. To drink, we ordered and split the hot sake. The first plates came out pretty quickly, and were hot and delicious. Our hot sake took a while to be delivered, and we had to ask our waiter to double check it was still on the way. Then when it arrived, we had to fight off a bunch of gnats that kept landing on the bottle. I guess they wanted to party, too! The shishito peppers were definitely my favorite. They were perfectly coated in sauce and flavoring. The karaage was tender and tastes especially good when paired with the watermelon. takoyaki was served hot and it's a blast watching the Bonita flakes dance on the balls. The edamame, while good, needed to be stirred up because the salt distribution was heavy on certain pieces. We wished we could order dessert, but felt a bit rushed by the server. It was a little before 10pm, so we understand they're off at 11pm, but as a former server there's definitely better ways to keep up with the closing process that feels less intrusive to the patrons. Overall, we had a blast at Wabi house and the food was great. Maybe we went on an off night for service, but overall will definitely be back again!!

I am surprised despite the popularity, the wait was not long at all and we were able to get seat almost immediately. For the first time, we ordered 2 appetizers - shrimp tempura and gyoza, not particularly outstanding, but they came out fast! As we were diving into our appetizers, the ramen was ready for us. I had the Spicy Miso Special (with mild spice) and my boyfriend had the Hinodeya special with medium spice. I personally like mine better because it was creamy and super flavorful compared to the Hinodeya special. My boyfriend tends to get stomach ache and fee bloated if he eats too much MSG. But he didn't feel any of those symptoms. To him, it was one of the biggest indicators if that is a good ramen or not. For the second time, we ordered takoyaki and karaage. Again, nothing too outstanding. This time, my boyfriend had what I had last time and I ordered the Tonkatsu special (no pic, sorry!). Maybe because of the lack of spice, I still prefer the Spicy Miso Special over Tonkatsu (Tonkatsu ramen is always my go-to in ramen spots). Regardless, we enjoyed our meals very much in both times. I think we have found our go-to ramen spot in DFW area!

The appetizer also came with a decent amount of pieces (I think 5?). After this I ordered the spicy miso special ramen which was superb. They give you the option to change the spiciness which I appreciated because sometimes you want something very spicy and sometimes you don't. Everything in the ramen was fantastic: the egg was gooey, the pork melted in my mouth, and the noodles were firm without being overcooked. The broth was seasoned so well and super yummy to where I didn't feel the need to add anything to my bowl. My total for my food plus a soda came to about $30 which is typical for the amount I got. I'd say it was definitely worth it! I will say, if you're a bit messy like I am, to wear a dark colored shirt since you may leave with a few broth stains. (Still worth it).
