The staff was friendly enough, but the food was just OK. The noodles were not bad for the price, but the skewer might had lemon or something marinated into it which gave it a somewhat sour taste, which was really off. The chicken bites had more breading than meat, but seasoned pretty good. The parking was a mess because the burger place next door was way more popular and their customers took up all the spots so we could only park at a shop across the street.
This a great place for dumplings and other items. This is a quiet location, but gets busy quickly! The staff are very friendly and helped me to figure out what I should try. First off, if you've ever eaten a rib, you HAVE GOT to try their Hunan Ribs! OMG! The rich and in-depth flavor of this rib is out of sight, next level. I highly reccomend them. We also got the Fried chicken dumplings, pork rice dumplings, soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, crispy basil chicken bites, and the Shanghai Noodles. This place is not going to hit your wallet hard at all! Very reasonably priced...

Olivia Martinez welcomed me and walked me through the menu. I ordered the Shanghai Noodles and Eight Steamed pork dumplings. Handmade noodles and dumplings are a work of love and art. Designed and seasoned to perfection. Every selection is an Epicurean delight. The restaurant is super clean and inviting. The order station and menu are easy to navigate. You can peer into the kitchen open window off the dining room. It's easy to see why Guy Fieri recently featured Hello Dumpling on Diners,Drive-ins and Dives 2025 If you love this cuisine. You won't find a better restaurant for twice the price. She has opened another location at Central Expressway at Walnut Hill Lane Put this one on your Must try list. See you there!
Went here for an early dinner after a beautiful day at the Arboretum. Minimal line. Super casual atmosphere - you order at the counter and they bring it to you. We had several specials and usual menu items. Pickled cucumbers (so yummy and crunchy), Crushed veggies with sesame/peanut (flavor was good, it was crushed kale so interesting), scallion pancakes (crisp, delicious, my husband said flavor wise they were the best ones he's ever had), pork XLB (loved them, skin was thinner which was nice and the broth/meat were very good), pan fried pork dumplings (absolutely fantastic and savory), Peking style handmade noodles with pork (loved the fresh veggies, ground pork, seasoning, and texture of the noodles), chicken bao buns (while the outer bun was soft and tasty the meat was unremarkable - this was the lowlight of our meal and only thing we wouldn't order again). For dessert they had Taiwanese shaved ice as a special - we got the classic and shared - red bean, mochi, boba, etc. it was a perfect end to an excellent meal! Service was excellent - people were attentive and helpful. We also saw the owner. The parking is a disaster and very limited so we parked around the way.
A friend suggested this spot after seeing it on Diners, Drive ins & dives. Man it didn't disappoint at all. I went with pork boiled dumplings and the Peking noodles. Great spice flavor in the noodles and the home made noodles tasted great. Dumplings were so good dipped in their sauce or the chili oil. Friendly service and plenty of tables. Good stuff
Can't wait to go back! Service is excellent & the lady at the counter was so helpful explaining the dishes for our first time. Food was so fresh, flavorful, & just what we needed on a cold night.
My daughter and I decided to check out Hello, Dumpling after attending a nearby event. We were greeted warmly the minute we walked in the door. Service is counter service with table delivery. Everyone was super attentive and kind. Our food was delivered as quickly as, or maybe even quicker than, one can expect from a fresh, scratch kitchen. We were the only two customers at the off hour we went (2:45pm on a Monday), but I suspect this level of service would be consistent during a rush. The food was out of this world. Instant comfort the moment you bite into one of their house made bao. We tried the vegetarian and the chicken bao. We also shared a Chicken Chuanr skewer and Shanghai noodles. The noodles were house made, not just in claim but in taste, and their accompanying sauce had so many savory layers. The chicken skewer was expertly spiced with just a little edge of heat. If we hadn't been so full, we would have ordered more of everything. The space is modern and bright, with greenery complementing this naturally lighted space's vibe. Outside there is a greenhouse with additional seating near their ample parking. Highly recommend!

Service was good as well, the workers were really nice I was so smol and worried cuz I didn't know what to get, so I asked the worker and she chose the best stuff. SHOUTOUT ALERT the owner seemed really nice, he was going around talking to other tables but he didn't come to ours sadly. I wanted to meet the maker. WHO MADE THIS DUMPLING! Ambiance is so CUTEE there's a huge dumpling in the front.

My friends had ordered from them before a few times and liked it, and they had a good veg selection, so we stopped in for lunch on a weekday. The restaurant is roomy, modern and clean, with a friendly staff. It's a fast-casual setup: you order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. We were hungry and were counting on leftovers, so we ordered a lot: - Sesame noodles (nutty and satisfying) - Peking noodles (lots of veggies with a spicy sauce--yum!) - Veg ribs (amazing! Made with lentils, the texture was akin to deep fried bricks of mashed potatoes--creamy on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside, enrobed in a delicious Chinese-style bbq sauce) - Pan fried veg dumplings (very good) - Veg Rice dumplings (steamed rice balls dotted throughout with savory vegetables, tasty and different) - Scallion pancakes (perfectly crispy with that elastic chew of rice flour) Everything was so delicious! The chef came out to chat with us and we got to tell her how much we appreciated all their vegetarian options. Would definitely visit again when next in the area!
Great accessible dumpling place. The place has a very chic design, and really tasty food. The place is clean and friendly. The service was fast and efficient. I like the design of the exterior, including the giant chopstick with the dumpling.
Excellent overall experience! The food presentation was excellent and tasted delicious. All of the servers were extremely nice and friendly with a knowledge and passion for the food they serve. The restaurant was clean, well-lit and spacious. The only downside can be parking but don't let that deter you; try to find a place... once you get your food you'll be glad you stayed. We'll be back again!
Unfortunately I am giving Hello Dumpling a 1 star due to my grilled chicken skewers were under cooked. They were very pink visibly and the inside even more, they tasted bad (raw). Had to throw them away. ):

Delicious local spot with a variety of options. Didn't get to try the boba tea but they also looked delicious. Definitely recommend the Peking noodle with pork. Staff was very kind and helpful when explaining the menu. Would come back! read more
The food and service was fantastic!! We went here for lunch and we're pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The owner was super nice and helpful with order suggestions. The rice dumplings are typically only served at banquets and/or special occasions but they were amazing. We had never had them before. All the food was great. We will definitely go back! read more
We came here on a whim after searching for gluten free dumplings in our area. It did not disappoint. Although, I do wish there were a bit more gluten free dumpling options, but the rice dumplings with chicken were still extremely tasty! My spouse got soup dumpling and wished there were more soup dumpling options than the pork. The pork ones were a tad over greasy, but not terrible. The highlight of the meal was for sure the cucumbers. Absolutely delicious. And the Thai tea was the top 3 I have ever had! The workers were extremely friendly and patient while we made our choices. With speedy service we weren't waiting terribly long. It's a calm vibe with music playing- loved the Christmas music going on! read more

We were out celebrating our daughter. She loves a cozy spot with Asian food and this one fit the bill. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely inside and out. It will definitely be added to a place to stop on our trips in and around the area. read more

Finally got around to checking out this place a while back and overall, it was decent. Ordered the Braised Beef Soup Noodle and the pan fried Beef with Carrots and Onions Dumplings. The braised beef soup noodle could have been more flavorful and spicy in my opinion. The beef tasted great though (tender and cooked perfectly), and it was definitely a filling meal. The dumplings tasted good, but I've definitely had better. read more
Hello Dumpling has a cute, quiet vibe inside. You order at a counter and the food came out quick. I got a matcha with boba and it was pretty standard, nothing crazy. The pickled smashed cucumbers were great and very light/refreshing. I order the pork soup dumplings which were a special. I don't think I would get them again as most of the soup leaked out and they didn't give a sauce to go with it. I would probably try a steamed dumpling or a noodle dish next time based on other reviews. I would give the food alone a 3/5 but I think I just had the wrong order. The friendly staff make it 4 stars overall. read more

A quaint little place. Parking in the complex is kinda difficult, we went on a weekend had parked on the other side and crossed over because the lot was full. We got the soup dumplings, beef noodle soup, peking pork noodles, and thai tea with boba. Soup dumplings: 3.5/5 they are just okay. Not the best but not the worst. I would not order again because they are two dollars per dumpling. Beef noodle soup: my favorite dish of the meal; beef is tender and the soup has a good spice that is enhanced by the bean sprout and bok choy. However there's a place in plano that has a chokehold on me for their beef noodle soup and this does not beat that. The noodles are a bit too thick for my liking. 4.3/5 Peking pork noodles: 3/5 not horrible but no where near my favorite and I would not order again. Spicy level was good but the minced meat in the noodles had an interesting flavor that wasn't my favorite. Thai tea: 3/5 the drink itself is solid BUT the boba is horrible, would not order again. Nothing special, so I would probably go elsewhere for my asian craving but it's nice if you are in the area! read more

We tried this place after it was recommended on my gluten free app since I cannot eat gluten at the moment but love dumplings. This place was great I got the pork rice dumplings and my husband got the fried pork and Napa cabbage dumplings. Both were delicious , but I would recommend getting another side to really fill you up or another order of the dumplings to complete the meal. The service and ambience were great and baby friendly! We will definitely be back! read more
Cute little noodle shop. My nephew loves this place and we love the dumplings. We tried several dishes and had plenty to bring home. The soup dumplings are fresh, juicy, full of flavor, and piping hot! They offer a variety of side dishes. We didnt try anything we didn't like. The service was the best. They were all attentive and made sure we know what sauces paired well with each dish. The open outdoor seating is nice. If you want to get out the weather outside, they have a converted green house. I would not suggest to sit there on a hot day. read more

Having an activation at the bar next door; I knew I was in dire need to eat something (since I don't take care of myself, especially when the husband is away.) as I had not eaten in 72 hours. But Lo and behold was I in for a solid treat. Here's how it went. Me not being to the bar next door, I didn't know if they were open but I'm always at something earlier than right on time. I paced back and forth and saw the dumpling signs; similar to a tardis, this place is a lot bigger than it looks on the outside. Immediately walking in, I was greeted with such enthusiasm. Being helpful the lady was giving me recommendations and I settled down with braised beef noods and some soup dumpling specials. As I got the dumplings she asked if I wanted the traditional dipping sauce and the other; I opted for both because why not? She then told me the noodles were going to be spicy if I kept the chili oil and that this would be a huge portion for food. I really appreciate that because some people are all about the money and not the experience. After ordering, they give you a little number that you prompt up on a stand at a table and the food is delivered to you. Upon getting the food here are my thoughts on it. Braised beef noods; broth is just about there. Needs a dash more salt or a bit more soy to be reduced. Quite tasty but just needed a tad more. The bok Choi was cooked a little too much for my liking so I didn't get to enjoy the crunch of a semi-cooked veggie. The beef melted into my mouth and fell apart every time I grabbed it with my chopsticks. Solid 8/10 Soup dumplings; it needed a bit more soup but it was truly delicious. Maybe a small spoon or pipette to squeeze into the dumpling itself. It was tasty and enjoyable and sort of messy. But I loved it. Would I come back? Yes. I'll bring the husband next time. read more

We got a to go order. The rice dumplings were interesting and unique to have and the chicken was the better tasting one of the beef and chicken we ordered. The crispy basil chicken was delicious and a great portion size! The crispy Apple dumplings with the caramel dipping sauce was delicious and we wished we ordered more. Unfortunately the vegetarian soup was lacking in salt and flavor. We had to add spices and salt at home to make it edible. read more

It was a great place with great service. the dumplings and broth was equally as good and when I went to the restroom there was a sign that said "don't care just wash your hand"with a mermaid and a horse man it was funny. read more

We visited on a wet and chilly Saturday afternoon and found the place surprisingly quiet. We were greeted immediately and quickly figured out the ordering process--you place your order first, receive a number, and then choose your seat. We ordered the braised beef noodle soup, beef and chicken skewers, rice dumplings, pork dumplings, and Hunan ribs. The beef noodle soup was outstanding! The noodles were perfectly cooked, the bone broth was the richest and most flavorful I've ever had, and the bok choy, scallions, and sprouts added the perfect touch. Try it with the chili oil for a nice kick! The rice dumplings were excellent, while the pork dumplings were on par with other good Chinese spots. The skewers and Hunan ribs were decent but not particularly memorable. Service was great--friendly and attentive staff. Be sure to try the jasmine tea, straight and sweetened! read more

This place took me by surprise! Good food speaks for itself. *mic drop* *Braised beef noodle soup: You must get this game-changing dish! There's a big chunk of beef that is super tender and perfectly seasoned. The meat just falls off easily and melts into your mouth. Broth was not too salty, well-balanced, and nothing was overpowering. I'm used to the traditional spicy dish, but it was very mild if you're wary of the heat. * Handmade dumplings: We got the pork with napa cabbage and chicken with mushrooms. These handmade dumplings come in 8 pieces with either the option of pan-fried or boiled. I would say probably get a mix of pan-fried and boiled. We got all the dumplings pan-fried and it had a great crunchy texture, but would prefer to have some boiled dumplings to change it up. Location wise, they have a private parking lot, making it very easy to find parking. You order at the counter, then find your own seating. They have high stool or standard seating. Service was fast. Food was affordable and delicious. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. read more
Hello Dumpling is DELICIOUS! I was not expecting everything to be homemade... the pillow-y softness of noodles and spicy, yet juicy dumplings. I love asian food so I was in heaven! Here is what I ordered and how I would rate: - Bao buns (8/10) - Spicy noodles (9/10) - Dumplings (9/10) - Pork noodles (10/10) - Lemonade w/ lychee boba (10/10) The food is order at counter then seat yourself. The workers were amazing at recommending different options - that's how I found lychee boba in my lemonade and that was AMAZING! The restaurant is casual which is the perfect spot for dinner with friends. Highly recommend! read more
