Food: Ordered quite a bit, so won't dive into each item, as they were great overall--the quality is on par with some of the dim sum I'd get in California. However, a few nit-picks. First, the wrapper of the Har Gar Shrimp fell apart easily, but that's not to take away from how good it was. And second, the Hot Oil Wonton with Duroc Pork was mostly wrapper, above anything else--could have used a bit more meat. But again, worth a try! Service: Splendid! Our server was very attentive. Ordering was a breeze, done by QR code. Food came out relatively quickly, Ambiance: Casual, modern, industrial. Parking: Ample parking. Located in a plaza.

The crab rangoons were good, but nothing unique or special. The cucumbers were different than what I expected, but they were seasoned well and delicious. The truffle pork soup buns were delicious and I loved the soup inside of them. The shrimp dumplings had a bit of an odd texture that I wasn't expecting. The egg rolls were nice and crunchy. I hadn't tried an egg tart dessert before and they were just OK. Great service and ambience though!

Walked in on a Monday night, not crowded at all. We were greeted and sat at our table. Casual place, nice decor! Waiter was very helpful and the food was brought out to us quickly! Everything we had was good. Must try is the wagyu beef chow ho fen and bbq pork! Yumm! We definitely will be back!!

Service was so fast and the restaurant was nice inside. We got a little bit of everything but must have was shrimp and pork shumai and the sesame chicken! The soup dumplings were so good I just wished they had a shrimp and pork option

Oh my gosh this was such a delight. The restaurant is super cozy inside and the service was fantastic. I ordered green tea for the table which was amazing and the kind staff kept our water refilled diligently. We shared a bunch of small plates. Everything was amazing - I wasn't expecting the egg rolls to be my favorite since I'm not the biggest fan usually but these were exceptional. Also try the crab Rangoons. We tried a variety of dumplings and soup dumplings. I love shrimp but I found myself enjoying the pork items more than the shrimp. (Both were good though.) This is a great place to go with at least 3-4 people so you can try different items. I also loved how efficient and easy the ordering process was bc you can order from your phone and you scan the QR code for your table and anyone at the table can order! Loved it and recommend if you're in the mood for something different. I wished I remembered to take more pictures!

The atmosphere is extremely calming and relaxed in here. Not only that, but it's easy to order and get everything you want. They have workers walking around helping you get your order figured out, but you can also order it from your phone-- which is super cool to me. There's even a robot waiter delivering your food! The soup dumplings (all of them) and the hot oil wontons are easily my favorite things to get here!

multiple things. We got sesame chicken, soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings, crab rangoons and crispy squid. And wow the food did not disappoint. I'm still thinking about how amazing that squid was. My friend got a wonton soup and when I told them how much I love the crispy noodles that come with them. They gave me a large container to go home with. I was so surprised. The service is outstanding and I can't wait to go back and try more items.

I normally have Dim Sum at Kowloon whenever I'm visiting Arlington, but I've been on the hunt for good Dim Sum within Dallas and Bushi Bushi has been on my list for a while now. I finally tried it and found a good dim sum restaurant in Dallas, and I recommend it to anyone craving authentic dim sum. There is a slight wait for food, the quality and flavors make it worth the trip. Food (4.2/5): On my first visit, I tried several dishes: * Pork Soup Dumplings: These were good but mediocre. * Hot Oil Wontons: The wontons themselves were solid, but I wasn't a huge fan of the hot oil sauce. * Shrimp Noodle Rice Roll: I've always enjoyed this dish and it met my expectations. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the sweet sauce that came with it was the perfect complement. * Diced Chicken with Spicy Chilis: I've had this dish at a Chinese restaurant in Carrollton where it was overly floral and soapy from too much peppercorn. Here, it was great. The flavors were balanced, spicy, and addictive. On my second visit, I came back with my brother, and we reordered our favorites: * Pork Soup Dumplings, Shrimp Rice Rolls, & Diced Chicken with Spicy Peppers: These dishes still held up as delicious as the first time. * Beef Pan-Fried Udon with Black Pepper: This dish was good but a little too heavy on the seasoning (salt or MSG). It was tasty but excessive in flavor. We also ordered Red Bean Sesame Balls to-go, which my mom loved as a sweet ending to the meal. Service (3.8/5): The service here is standard for a dim sum spot. The staff were friendly, but it wasn't anything exceptiona. Food did take a bit of time to come out, so if you're in a rush, it's something to keep in mind. Ambiance (4/5): The ambiance is casual and laid-back, with plenty of seating and a bar area. It's a comfortable spot for enjoying a relaxed meal with friends or family. The space is spacious, and the vibe is typical of most dim sum places--nothing too fancy but cozy enough to make it a good experience.

Help says there are vegan options but the menu only identifies vegetarian items. It looks like some items might be vegan though. Are vegan items available?

    Can we make reservation?

    No.

Do you use hydrogenated oils in any of your foods?

They have dumplings. Try an oil store.

Is there a place to make online reservations?

    No why would there be.

Are the soup dumplings vegetarian/pescatarian friendly, or are they made with pork broth?

They are not vegetarian. Traditional pork.

Do you use msg in your dumplings and other dishes?

We don’t have msg in the kitchen. I don’t like msg myself. But Some of the ingredients might have msg (like oyster sauce…) Cheers

We arrived on a Wednesday evening around 7 p.m., and surprisingly, we were the only customers there, considering it was peak dinner time. We also discovered that we needed to pre-order the duck in advance. Luckily, the lady informed us that there was one available for us, but it would take about 30 minutes. We ordered the crispy cucumber salad, xiao long bao, and the dry-fried string beans. The dry-fried string beans were my favorite. The string beans had a delightful crisp texture and a flavorful taste. The cucumber salad was also good, but some parts were a bit soggy. The XLB skin was too thick and chewy, and it didn't taste like the usual soup dumplings, which was disappointing. I was excited for the duck, but I was honestly disappointed when it arrived. The portions were quite small, considering it was a whole duck. It wasn't carved tableside, which was a letdown. Some parts of the duck were dry, and the skin wasn't crispy enough. To add to the disappointment, they charge extra for almost everything. If you want more pancakes or their homemade duck sauce (which tasted like black bean sauce), you'll have to pay an additional $5. Another thing to note is that they are BYOB, so you can bring your own alcohol. However, the menu pictures on Yelp are outdated, and they only offer whole Peking duck, not half orders. Overall, the food was just okay, and I'll probably try a different spot when I'm in the mood for duck again.

I ordered the Pork Ba, Pickled Smashed Cucumbers, Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings, Pork Bao Zi, and Peach Dessert Dumplings. The Pickled Smashed Cucumbers with the sweet and spicy chili dressing were a nice start, but the Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings were fairly unremarkable. They weren't bad, but they reminded me of gyoza I've had at many other restaurants and didn't particularly stand out. The Pork Bao Zi had one of the better fillings of the meal. The pork itself was flavorful and delicious, but the bao bun was very plain and lacked enough flavor to complement the filling. I was especially interested in trying the Peach Dessert Dumplings because they sounded so unique. They were definitely an interesting treat, but ultimately fell a little short for me. The peach filling tasted more like preserves or jam than a fresh fruit-based filling, which made them sweeter and less balanced than I expected. The restaurant itself has a modern, clean, open interior and a casual atmosphere. One thing worth mentioning is that it was fairly warm inside, probably around 78°F. It wasn't unbearable for me, but with North Texas temperatures easily reaching 100°F+, some diners may find the dining room warmer than comfortable. Parking is also somewhat limited, so keep that in mind during busier times. Overall, I'm glad I tried Hello Dumpling, especially after seeing it on *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives*. There were some enjoyable flavors and creative ideas, but based on this visit, the food didn't quite live up to the expectations I had from the TV feature. I'd give it a solid 3 stars and will go back to try some fresh noodle entrees.

Dim sum has become an expensive endeavor at a lot of places these days, so glad to see an affordable spot. All were honestly average - nothing that will blow your socks off, but texture is good, seasoning maybe a bit on the lighter side, but you can fix that yourself with the chili sauce and soy sauce at the table.
