Fantastic family style meal where every dish delivered, really enjoyed each dish and service was amazing, can't pick a single favorite dish because everything really was amazing but loved the soup dumplings and duck

The atmosphere is extremely calming and relaxed in here. Not only that, but it's easy to order and get everything you want. They have workers walking around helping you get your order figured out, but you can also order it from your phone-- which is super cool to me. There's even a robot waiter delivering your food! The soup dumplings (all of them) and the hot oil wontons are easily my favorite things to get here!

multiple things. We got sesame chicken, soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings, crab rangoons and crispy squid. And wow the food did not disappoint. I'm still thinking about how amazing that squid was. My friend got a wonton soup and when I told them how much I love the crispy noodles that come with them. They gave me a large container to go home with. I was so surprised. The service is outstanding and I can't wait to go back and try more items.

I normally have Dim Sum at Kowloon whenever I'm visiting Arlington, but I've been on the hunt for good Dim Sum within Dallas and Bushi Bushi has been on my list for a while now. I finally tried it and found a good dim sum restaurant in Dallas, and I recommend it to anyone craving authentic dim sum. There is a slight wait for food, the quality and flavors make it worth the trip. Food (4.2/5): On my first visit, I tried several dishes: * Pork Soup Dumplings: These were good but mediocre. * Hot Oil Wontons: The wontons themselves were solid, but I wasn't a huge fan of the hot oil sauce. * Shrimp Noodle Rice Roll: I've always enjoyed this dish and it met my expectations. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the sweet sauce that came with it was the perfect complement. * Diced Chicken with Spicy Chilis: I've had this dish at a Chinese restaurant in Carrollton where it was overly floral and soapy from too much peppercorn. Here, it was great. The flavors were balanced, spicy, and addictive. On my second visit, I came back with my brother, and we reordered our favorites: * Pork Soup Dumplings, Shrimp Rice Rolls, & Diced Chicken with Spicy Peppers: These dishes still held up as delicious as the first time. * Beef Pan-Fried Udon with Black Pepper: This dish was good but a little too heavy on the seasoning (salt or MSG). It was tasty but excessive in flavor. We also ordered Red Bean Sesame Balls to-go, which my mom loved as a sweet ending to the meal. Service (3.8/5): The service here is standard for a dim sum spot. The staff were friendly, but it wasn't anything exceptiona. Food did take a bit of time to come out, so if you're in a rush, it's something to keep in mind. Ambiance (4/5): The ambiance is casual and laid-back, with plenty of seating and a bar area. It's a comfortable spot for enjoying a relaxed meal with friends or family. The space is spacious, and the vibe is typical of most dim sum places--nothing too fancy but cozy enough to make it a good experience.

Very nice staff. Quick service just order on the QR code. Seems authentic. Buns were really tasty and sweet. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Not too spicy Restaurant isn't too big.

My son moved to Addison and we both had a Chinese craving. I'm very picky about Chinese and do my research before trying a new place. So thank you to my fellow Yelpers for your awesome reviews. It made my decision much easier. This place is tucked into a strip center behind the Improv comedy club. We went for an early dinner at 5 on a Friday night. I wasn't worried when we walked in and it was wide open because it was early and 105 degrees outside. The staff was awesome! They sat us down for our drink order immediately and explained the menu process. The dumplings were fresh and amazing! Loved them. I ordered the sesame chicken and it came out piping hot! Loved the crunch and the flavor was scrumptious. The portion sizes are big enough that we took 1/2 the rice and entree hole for lunch the next day!

My friends and I decided we wanted dim sum and one of my friends had never had soup dumplings and we figured why not here. I've been to the location in Frisco and it was good so I knew this would be just as good. We ordered dim sum and family style. We were so full and had to take some home. It made for a great snack later. Food was fresh, service was great and it was a busy atmosphere. Great for small and large parties. Check it out if you're in the Addison area. Till then, let's eat!!!

This place was pretty good! I came here with 6 other friends for lunch and they were able to accommodate us quickly at a large table. We ordered a few dishes and my favorites were the shumai and the steam rice cakes! The string beans with pork were slightly salty and the peking duck was okay (it was not as crispy as I would like it to be). Overall, I would go here again but it wouldn't be my first choice! The ambiance was pretty nice; it was darker inside but it felt like it would be a good dinner spot!

We tried the flat noodles and the Mapo tofu. The tofu was OK but, the noodles were actually very good. Going back that would be what I would order again. Service was very good.

Help says there are vegan options but the menu only identifies vegetarian items. It looks like some items might be vegan though. Are vegan items available?

    Can we make reservation?

    No.

Do you use hydrogenated oils in any of your foods?

They have dumplings. Try an oil store.

Is there a place to make online reservations?

    No why would there be.

Are the soup dumplings vegetarian/pescatarian friendly, or are they made with pork broth?

They are not vegetarian. Traditional pork.

Do you use msg in your dumplings and other dishes?

We don’t have msg in the kitchen. I don’t like msg myself. But Some of the ingredients might have msg (like oyster sauce…) Cheers

The food came out piping hot and super fast, within 5 minutes our table was full of dishes! We were a small party so we only tried some dishes: Shu Mai, Shrimp Har Gow (eh), Chicken Feet, Steamed BBQ Pork Buns, Baked BBQ Pork Buns, Soup Dumplings, Fried Shrimp Balls, and Tofu Pudding for dessert. The stars of the show were the siu mai, the Baked BBQ Pork Buns and the Steamed BBQ Pork Buns. The siu mai was packed with fillings and it was so good, might be the best one I've ever had. The Baked buns were good but the buns might be a little too heavy. However, the steamed buns were so airy, light, and fluffy. I've never seen a bun that fluffy, it was like touching a cloud. It was still good when we reheated it at home, too! My boyfriend also loved the chicken feet, it was packed with flavor and very juicy. On the other hand, the soup dumplings were okay they didn't have any soup in them. The shrimp har gow wrapper was really thick, making it not as good. The tofu pudding was delicious. It's silken tofu with sweet ginger syrup, usually served with chewy balls but they didn't have that here. It was served hot and it was my childhood so I had to get it :) It looked like a lot of food but the bill came out to be around $50+, which wasn't bad given that we had a lot of leftovers for the day. I would definitely come back here!

This visit, we hosted family from East Texas who'd been here once before. Starting with delicious Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings and Bucks Spare Ribs, we moved on to Ants Climbing Trees (Ma Yi Shang Shu), a classic Sichuan dish of vermicelli cooked with minced pork, in fermented chili sauce, with garlic and green onions, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, crispy bite-size shrimp tossed with green onion, basil, garlic, and jalapeño, and Sichuan Green Beans, stir-fried with garlic, mushrooms, and minced pork. We opted for one order of white rice and one of fried rice with our entrées. The restaurant is almost always packed if you don't have a reservation, but the vibe is relaxed and casual without being loud. In fact, it's so popular, you may have to wait a bit even with a reservation, since they want you to enjoy your meal vs rushing you out to "turn the table."
