You can taste the freshness of the food. The duck was some of the best duck I've ever had. Full of flavor, juiciness, and some pieces were crisped to perfection. The shrimp balls were crispy, fluffy, juicy, DELICIOUS! I would hope they would make them frozen so you can cook at home . I wasn't able to eat everything in one sitting so I had the rest the next day. Everything still tasted as the night before. I would say it's a bit dark inside. Food: Ordered quite a bit, so won't dive into each item, as they were great overall--the quality is on par with some of the dim sum I'd get in California. However, a few nit-picks. First, the wrapper of the Har Gar Shrimp fell apart easily, but that's not to take away from how good it was. The crab rangoons were good, but nothing unique or special. The cucumbers were different than what I expected, but they were seasoned well and delicious. We tried Bushi Bushi after Mr. Sushi was closed down the street and happy we checked it out. The restaurant felt cozy and comfortable. Not a huge vegetarian selection but did have a couple items. I seriously enjoyed the vegetable dumplings and the vegetable stir fry. Although it had meat in it, the sticky lotus root rice looked so yummy (friends had ordered and they loved it). Oh my gosh this was such a delight. The restaurant is super cozy inside and the service was fantastic. I ordered green tea for the table which was amazing and the kind staff kept our water refilled diligently. We shared a bunch of small plates. Everything was amazing - I wasn't expecting the egg rolls to be my favorite since I'm not the biggest fan usually but these were exceptional. Also try the crab Rangoons. We tried a variety of dumplings and soup dumplings. I love shrimp but I found myself enjoying the pork items more than the shrimp. (Both were good though.) This is a great place to go with at least 3-4 people so you can try different items. I also loved how efficient and easy the ordering process was bc you can order from your phone and you scan the QR code for your table and anyone at the table can order! We ordered a variety of dishes to try, and overall everything was really good! The beef noodle dish was excellent -- flavorful and satisfying. The beef shumai, soup dumplings, and vegetable dumplings were all tasty and well-made. Both the plain fried rice and beef fried rice were solid choices, and the crab Rangoon was crispy and delicious. We also tried a few wings -- the mango habanero didn't really taste like mango and wasn't very spicy, but the garlic wings were good. The beef with jalapeño had a nice kick, and the egg roll was fresh and crunchy. To drink, the peach iced tea lemonade was tart and refreshing, not too sweet. The atmosphere is extremely calming and relaxed in here. Not only that, but it's easy to order and get everything you want. I normally have Dim Sum at Kowloon whenever I'm visiting Arlington, but I've been on the hunt for good Dim Sum within Dallas and Bushi Bushi has been on my list for a while now. I finally tried it and found a good dim sum restaurant in Dallas, and I recommend it to anyone craving authentic dim sum. There is a slight wait for food, the quality and flavors make it worth the trip. Food (4.2/5): On my first visit, I tried several dishes: * Pork Soup Dumplings: These were good but mediocre. * Hot Oil Wontons: The wontons themselves were solid, but I wasn't a huge fan of the hot oil sauce. * Shrimp Noodle Rice Roll: I've always enjoyed this dish and it met my expectations. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the sweet sauce that came with it was the perfect complement. * Diced Chicken with Spicy Chilis: I've had this dish at a Chinese restaurant in Carrollton where it was overly floral and soapy from too much peppercorn. Bushi Bushi is unique because you ordered through the QR code on your own. There is also a robot that comes out to delivery your food depending on what dish it is. It's nice when you do not want to be bothered and want to have a quiet transaction. The service is there if you need help by actual workers, they will ensure they you are taken care of. It is not your typical dim sum place where they push the carts but the quality does taste good and fresh. The dishes always comes out HOT! I am so happy they have my favorite dishes - steamed spring rolls and then the pork and shrimp dumplings. All can be pretty pricey but its because it comes out fresh and the quality is top notch! This place was pretty good! I came here with 6 other friends for lunch and they were able to accommodate us quickly at a large table. We ordered a few dishes and my favorites were the shumai and the steam rice cakes! The string beans with pork were slightly salty and the peking duck was okay (it was not as crispy as I would like it to be). Overall, I would go here again but it wouldn't be my first choice! Finally checked out Bushi Bushi while coming across this spot multiple times dining/taking out from nearby restaurants. As you enter, you are greeted by a staff and immediately get seated at the table. Inside has a dark lighting with both regular tables as well as bar tables. You can choose to order through your mobile phone by scanning their QR menu or checking off through their paper menu. I will mention my personal negatives about the place: Maybe because I only eat out 2-3 times a month, but the price was too high for the portion of meals. Their soup dumpling (D2) was not good at all. I did wait for all my dishes to arrive before consuming; so, that has some cause. However, other place still tasted good. Also, lo mein noodle was definitely kept frozen improperly. I also tried their Pan Fried Bun (D8), which I thought was really good - appropriate amount of filling with fluffy buns. Although, their lo mein noodle had a old taste, but other ingredients were fresh and the dish was still flavorful. Lastly, I also tried their Yeung Chow Fried Rice, which was really flavor. Their chili oil made the dish even better for something that loves spicy! Now, their service was really good - multiple check ups by the staff, very friendly, and helpful. Will I be back? I could tell none of these dimsum dish was made fresh and all was frozen previously. The siumai had this bitter taste. I probably am not their target audience. Pan-fried pork radish cake, better than most Chinese places in DFW. Plenty of daikon inside, crispy and tasty. Shrimp dumpling pretty good, wrapping is a bit too sticky but the shrimp is meaty and crunchy. Beef tripe, sauce is a bit too thick and a bit heavy on MSG, but the cut is thin and easy to chew. Xiao Long Bao is not very good, a lot of soup but the wrapping is too thick and the marinate is just not "right." 88 Bao Bao sets a standard too high in DFW to be touched. Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf comes out of the kitchen like it just survived a hurricane in Florida. Taste is okay but a bit MSG-heavy. Service is adequate. Prices are a bit on the high side. This is not the typical hole-in-the-wall Chinese place, with a full bar, you'd expect to pay a little tax. read more

We ordered soup dumplings with pork (XLB), hot & sour soup, scallion pancakes, chili oil wontons, and fried radish cake. The soup dumplings contain tons of soup and the flavor was amazing. Chili oil wontons had a numbing spice to them and were tasty as well. The hot and sour soup was really good, and came with wonton strips (never had them together before but it was cool to try). One thing that was a little odd though, was that the scallion pancakes came with mala (numbing spicy) oil on the side, which wasn't my favorite combo. However, everything was still good! Man, I loved these things packed with shrimp and crispy! The last thing I got was shuimai. I didn't know what they were asking the waitress if they were good, and she said yes. So I ordered them. So this was a last minute stop for dinner. Sitting in the business complex parking lot, Bushi Bushi didn't look all that special. Stepping inside the place not busy at all. We were seated and given a lesson on ordering from a phone app and QR code on the table. At this point I'm on the fence. I prefer ordering off a real menu and talking to a human. After I screwed up the ordering process our very nice server came over and walked me through it. Boy, am I glad she did! Absolutely amazing dumplings! Went here to check out what was posted on Instagram--they looked good so we thought we'd try it. We noticed no Asians eating there but us so that kind of gave it away that it might not be that authentic. Ordered the Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), Yeung Chow fried rice and BBQ pork. They are all surprisingly good but nothing extra ordinary--nothing different from a typical Chinese restaurant. Ambience was cozy--not that big of a dining area but more people are coming in since it's lunch time. Service was prompt. They had one of those tray delivery robots--same stuff we've seen at a Japanese restaurant. Not sure why they need that when there's a server walking with it to serve it so ya.
