    Golden Triangle

I wanted to love this location because I have fond memories of the Forest Lane location. I tried it twice and sadly was a miss for me each time. The appetizer miss was the Golden Triangle Wontons with ground chicken. These were flavorless and tasted like they were previously frozen. The sauce was unmemorable. I did enjoy the chicken satay kabobs and peanut sauce. The chicken was cooked well and tender. I tried two entrees and was not tantalized by either. The Pad See Iew was greasy and very plating was unappetizing. The red curry did not have any depth and no heat, even though we asked for a little spice. I did take the leftover curry home though and added ground ginger, cayenne pepper and a handful of chopped cilantro and it was leveled up! Overall this location is upbeat and inviting, service for me was 50/50, food meh and the prices are high.

Asian Mint is great! I went for a late lunch on Tuesday with a girlfriend. The ambiance is very instagram-able and cute. It was pretty empty when we showed up with just 1-2 other tables seated. Service was good, we were checked up on multiple times, and our meals came out quickly. I ordered the red curry with tofu and vegetable with a spicy level. It wasn't that spicy but still enjoyable, loved the variety of veggies and the tofu strips (as opposed to the typical cubes). My only complaint is it's a bit more expensive than other thai restaurants in the area, and those restaurants will typically do a lunch special or bring out a spring roll with your entree. Asian Mint did not do either. I still enjoyed my time and would recommend coming!

I used to occasionally visit the Asian Mint on Forest Lane and Central, but it's been a long time. So when I visited this location, I was happy to see that the flavors were even better than I remembered. The restaurant has an elevated decor, so it's definitely a step up from a standard small restaurant- not dressy, but definitely sophisticated. I was in the mood for a simple crab fried rice, and Asian Mint delivered. It was a great meal and really hit the spot. The rice was seasoned delicately and the texture was very light and fluffy. There was also fresh sliced cucumbers and tomatoes accompanying the dish, so I got a nice dose of fresh veggies. This helped to balance out the meal and not make it so much of a carb load. Next time I will have to branch out and try some other dishes. Back in the day when I used to visit their Forest location, I only remember getting Pad Thai. My only complaint is lack of beverage options. I don't drink alcohol or soda, and I don't recall seeing much in the way of juice cocktails or smoothies, so water it was. The service was kind and attentive, and when we were leaving, the staff informed us that they were having an anniversary celebration and we would get to draw a number and select a prize. We got a Drama Queen branded packet of chili seasoning. Pretty cool!

Vegan review. I brought my family here for my birthday!! I love this place so much I wanted to spend my birthday here! I love how consistent their recipes are. Each location has the same flavors and tastes! They have plenty of vegan options! I always get the pad see ew with tofu! The noodle texture was so soft and gooey! The sauce was plentiful, and had plenty of vegetables! We also got the brownie with ice cream which in not vegan, but that's fine. It was a classic dish and was very chocolatey. There are two separate rooms, which is confusing, but that's ok. We sat in the first room which I think is supposed to be the patio when the sun is out. We were the only ones in this room while there were 5 other families inside. It was nice to have the privacy. We had a great experience and the staff was lovely! No issues! I love the food here, I will continue to come here in the future!

What a very cute place and the ambience is very nice. They have happy hour Monday to Friday before 6:30. $2 off apps, salads, and soups. The fresh summer rolls were really good with the peanut sauce. My sister and I split the Pad Thai See and it was really tasty. I do love the red curry here. Everything has been so tasty. Def one of my favorite places. I will be coming back

Everything we ordered was a 5/5. The service was also excellent. The ambiance was upbeat and the restaurant was very clean. If you're craving Thai food with a twist, I definitely recommend checking Asian Mint out.

We enjoyed an early lunch. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Ambience was great. We ate outside and we enjoyed the warm breeze. I will definitely be adding this place to my rotation.

Strangely I've never been here before and I'm sorry I haven't. Everything about this place was wonderful if you aren't looking for a hip, chic place. They have an adorable little terrace area, decorated cute, food was amazing, service was very personal. Everything we had tasted amazing and price was remarkably reasonable for all we had. I will definitely be back.

Swung by for dinner to just pick up a quick order of Pad Thai and some Thai Tea. The place is hidden in a shopping center so I didn't even realize it was here. Servers were friendly, food came out quick and the place is clean and has seemingly big portions for the food based on the dishes I saw around me. I liked the Thai Tea, it hit the spot, just. The perfect blend of sweet and creamy. The Pad Thai on the other hand although it was nice and hot and flavorful it was too sweet for my liking, I ended up adding Sriracha chili to it when eating it at home. All in all I think is definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a milder Thai food. Not as authentic as some of the family owned restaurants that aren't chains. It would be good if they asked and could make levels of spiciness, that would definitely be a good add-on for them to consider.

Asian Mint has shown me that they can do something that is one of the hardest things to do in the restaurant industry, and that is to carry consistency across multiple locations. I recently tried this Addison location for the first time and that makes the fourth location I have tries and guess what, all four of their five locations have been great! I only have the Inwood Village location left to try, unless they keep growing faster than I can try them! I love Thai food and in my opinion, Chef Nikky is one of the best in the business. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her skills and restaurants. The number one thing that comes through in everything she creates is her love for what she does. In addition to being a great restaurantuer, she is also a great person. I had the pleasure of meeting her almost 20 years ago when she was just a few years in. It was hard not to get right on board with her enthusiasm. It has been delightful to watch her success over the years! The ambiance in this Addison store is similar in feel to the other stores as well. It is tasteful (no pun intended) and not overly done. There is beauty in simplicity. The food was great! The Egg Rools are always a wonderful start to any meal here. And for a low carb option for my main course, I enjoy the Pad Woon Sen, which I consider the best in the Dallas area!

The restaurant has vibrant decor and murals that transport you to a diverse neighborhood. Every employee who helped us was approachable and kind, checking on us after we were seated and served, going as far as taking photos for us when we asked because we were celebrating our anniversary, and bringing out things we asked for once we were seated. It seems basic to say that, but the warmth and kindness was felt from each employee we interacted with, and I don't want to gloss over their good service. Our order: - Angry Pho Birria Platter - Elote + Chips - Strawberry Lemonade - Ube Horchata The pho (a little spicy) and bao (a little sweet with super tender meat) will make you want to do a happy dance. The wings could have been a little crunchier but they were sauced so it's understandable. The Bang Bang and Spicy Chili flavors were delicious. The Birria tacos were good, but we loved everything else on the platter more. The Elote + chips starter was authentic and yummy. The chips felt like an odd pairing, but it tasted good together! The Strawberry Lemonade was sweet but refreshing. The Ube Horchata was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and the ice didn't ruin it. Know before you go: - Arrive early! We got there when they opened at 11 AM on a Friday. Two other parties were already there and waiting to dine, as well. By 11:30 AM, a nice-sized crowd had rolled in. They had no problem getting everyone served quickly, though. - You order and pay first, grab a seat, and then they bring your food out to you. - Yes, the platter sizes are sufficient for two hungry adults to fill up on! You might even have trouble finishing it all. - Their online menu has awesome pictures of each platter option. The platters look smaller in person than in those photos, but as I said, you will definitely get full. - My husband, who is not a pho lover, loved the Angry Pho. - They are closed on Saturdays and Mondays. - They have gluten-free and halal options.

It was so bomb! The fries were somehow still crispy even though it's tossed in this delicious sauce! Meat was tender and melt in your mouth good! I also loved the burger! We cut pieces so we can all try the different dishes, and I kept cutting pieces of the burger! I've also been on a burger kick lately to try to find the best burger and this one is high up the list! It was surprisingly hot for a good 15 mins. The meat was well seasoned and the onion, cheese meat and sauce all blended so well. Little bit salty and a little bit sweet with the grill onions. The wings were also crispy with this nice sweet chili sauce! Cooked to perfection! I really liked the curry pho! It's a green curry with a little kick to it. They have quite a few different vegan options and this is a dish that can be made vegan. You can dip the Birria tacos in this pho consume which is so fire! It's so good you just want to drink it up lol I added some of their habenero hot sauce and it was just the perfect birria bites. The phorrito is pho filling wrapped in rice and fried! You gotta wash all these delicious meals down with a lychee peach tea! It hit the spot lol it was so refreshing with the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. This is a must try place if you're in the area!
