But instead of ordering at the counter, you can order online and have it ready when you arrive. They have a nice seating area, around the side and to the back of the restaurant, and additional seating in the food court area if you want to people watch. I had the green curry. You can choose your favorite protein (chicken, beef, shrimp, tofu or just veg), or you can double the protein (beef + shrimp or whatever) for about $2 more. You can also choose from four levels of spiciness. They don't wok-fry it until you order (unlike some places), so it comes out hot and fresh. A bit pricy but food was good and generous portion. Would come back again. Customer service is lacking but anyway they didn't screw up my order so I'll take it as a win. But TODAY...I stumbled upon Thai Express. Plenty of options for Vegetable dishes and not only did they have shrimp but they also had tofu. They had a variety of sauces for your food to be cooked in. The shrimp and chicken tasted old. Not all of the shrimp was deveined. The rice and veggies were ok, but something was a foul in the mix.

There's not a lot of quick-go-to Asian restaurants in town yet so I was eager to try this establishment as soon as it opened. Typically there's a few kinks as the staff are still needing some training. Sure enough I got there and the cashier was still learning how to use the POS, the cooks were taking there time to make the food on the woks and the service was just a little slow. In the end , I didn't get the correct plate. But the food was super tasty. I reached out to management and they gave me another opportunity to try their food on their dime. I really really wanted to love this place because I love Thai food. But, I've tried authentic Thai food and this fell way short. I ordered the pad Thai with tofu for $9. And what I received wasn't even close to Pad Thai. It was rice noodles with some thick greasy sauce. I will say the tofu was DELICIOUS. I went back to the cashier (maybe the owner?) and apologized but asked if they could remake it because it was way too greasy. The man apologized, was super sweet and said of course. They remade it but by then I had kind of lost my appetite and realized it was the sauce that gave it weird taste. I gave it to my cousin who said it was okay but then gobbled it all up. This restaurant is still fairly new so maybe they're still tweaking the measurements of the sauces and perfect this dish. I can only hope so! This is a new store in Galleria mall 3rd floor next to McDonald's. Since it is in mall, I didn't have high hope initially as I find it hard to get good food in a mall. However it is surprisingly good. They have daily special for $6.68 and today is pad thai, which is what I ordered. The staffs are new, but didn't show sign of new, in fact very organized from ordering to preparation, cook and delivery. I am sure I will be back to taste all its daily special. read more

For mall food, this is what I think of. It's fast food, Asian style, and exactly what you'd expect. I got the pad see ew, general tsao's chicken, and drunken noodles (their new dish!). They have different specials for every day, and it covers various different dishes. I'd be interested to try the curry here next time! The noodles are a good choice, although their rice is pretty meh. For what it is, it's pretty good. If you're trying to get a fancy night out or an authentic Thai meal, this isn't the place. It just tasted like coconut milk. The chicken tasted like thin frozen strips that came from a bag. Everything was just a white milky color. I was wondering where the YELLOW curry part was at. We were at Galleria for Weekend Shopping. Found Gem of the Chain Restaurant called Thai Express. It's a Pretty much like Crazy Noodles in Midwest. Food Much better than the Crazy Noodles. The food was so delicious made to perfect . Perfect combination of spices and well done. We really liked their Ambience, Service , and the taste of the food.
