We showed up around 8:15pm on a Tuesday and were seated immediately. June was our waitress and she was super nice and welcoming. We ordered and the food came out very quickly. We ordered the tuna carpaccio, which we finished before I could even snap a photo. The photos don't do the food justice but everything was so fresh and delicious. My husband ordered the Salmon hibachi and it was all cooked perfectly! While the inside of the restaurant looks small, the seats are far enough apart that you still get to enjoy your company without talking over others. They do also have patio seating if you prefer to sit outside. Overall, the visit was perfect, the food was delicious, and you're right off the Addison Circle Park, so you can take a nice stroll after. Definitely recommend trying it! read more

It started with the location being in a more intimate area outside of Dallas, which was a nice relief. We are avid sushi snobs with a preference for tuna. If you love tuna, this is the place to go. This is a great option for sushi and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at the restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant is great with interiors that remind you of the Orientals. They have indoor and outdoor seating and seating by the open kitchen as well. The edamame for appetizer is a must try along with some sake. The staff offer good recommendations and the sushi, sashimi we tried were really great. Parking around the area can be tricky, but there is plenty of roadside parking available. I came here while attending a convention in Dallas. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodated my large group in the back of the restaurant. There was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. I ordered the DJ Roll, which had delicious spicy salmon and crunchy cucumber. It was beautifully decorated with lemon and masago. My friends also ordered rolls and sashimi, and everything tasted super fresh. I had such a great experience here, and the hostess even slipped our group a note afterward to compliment us. Came here a week ago for the first time cause my brother has been coming here for a while and it was amazing. It's a hidden gem. We got a lot of food so that we could try a lot of the dishes. The shishito peppers were amazing. Lots of garlic and awesomeness. The pork dumplings were super flavorful. We also got the fried rice with chicken and very generous portion and super flavorful. They season everything really well. We got a few sushi rolls and the best one was the yellow tail. All were good but that yellow tail with soy sauce and wasabi was amazing. The guy that took care of us was friendly, attentive, and nice. He was training someone and she was also super friendly and nice. I am coming back to try more stuff. Come check them out. Came in last night for some sushi and when you walk in you can tell this place is a fan favorite for the residents of Addison, the place was pretty full and lively. From the moment we were seated our service was friendly and fast. Can't really go wrong with that! My party of two ordered four sushi rolls- the shrimp tempura, the dragon, the Philly, and the spicy salmon. All four rolls came out to be a whopping total of approximately $43. That's pretty darn affordable! Not to mention the sushi was exceptionally fresh and tasted great. Super happy I stopped by for dinner. read more

We had never been there before so this was a stretch to try someplace new on this special night. However, we were not disappointed in our choice. 1. Food quality was #10 2. Service was a #10 3 Ambiance was a #9 We had the Edamame and calamari ring appetizers and both were excellent. We had the spider roll and the Amazon speciality roll and again both were very good. We also enjoyed the hot tea on the cold night. The only thing that would have made this evening nicer is if the restaurant had more patrons to help with the ambience as we were one of four customers bye the time we left. However, we were part of the earlier seating arriving at 5:30. Highly recommend if you are looking for a high quality sushi at a reasonable price. read more

Fantastic Sushi! I came here for the first time a couple weeks ago. Because the weather was nice I (and everyone else there) sat on the patio. It's nice with shade from the awning. The only downside of that was that during the time that I was there, I got eaten up by mosquitos. I seriously got three, yes THREE, mosquito bites on my face! If it weren't for the mosquitos I would have stayed even longer to try their dessert menu, which looked awesome! My waiter was very friendly and efficient and the food came fast. I was starving and was in Miss Piggy mode, so I ordered three rolls. Everything was so good! I ordered the spicy tuna and rainbow rolls, and a third that I can't remember unfortunately. All three were very fresh and delicious! I also had the Jet Lychee cocktail, with lychee juice and gin, from their cocktail menu at the suggestion of my waiter. It was perfect! I highly recommend it! The prices here are not the cheapest, but average compared to most sushi restaurants. I have been here several times and have never written a review for this place. This hidden gem is tucked away in Addison Circle. Come to think of it, the times I do go, I'm always out on the patio. It's a cover patio but the times I went, it's never too hot or never too cold. Everything here is amazing! Everything is fresh. What I love about this place is the fresh wasabi and it has a really good kick. From what I am told, the fishes are imported from Japan daily or was it 2 times a week. Very tender, melts in your mouth. They do have the more traditional rolls and their speciality rolls. Nice bite size pieces. I highly recommend the Sakura Roll and the Cherry Blossom Roll. Both salmon rolls but the topping is what sets them apart. Both are a beautiful piece of art as well. Their cocktails. Wow. They are great! Not watered down and great flavors.
