First time at this location. My go to is usually Grapevine. This one has a whole different vibe - much more casual, buzzing, and noise level much higher. Service was excellent - we had a reservation though we were a tad late, they worked with us to accommodate. Menus are the same. What I really enjoy about Oishii is that they have a wonderful selection of rice less rolls. We sampled many of them including two special ones. Always love the oysters and soft shell crab appetizers. Super flavorful. Everything was very fresh and beautifully presented. We also weren't rushed even though we chose to linger and catch up. Biggest challenge is the parking. Not a surprise in this part of town.

Definitely a solid choice in the regular lineup. The service is definitely consistent and fish is fresh. Our favorites are the Himalayan roll, the G roll, and the Royce roll. Tried the lychee martini and it was good! Atmosphere is casual, and great place for girls night or date night!

First time at this location. Wycliff and the SMU location are my places. I loved this location. Nice vibe inside and smaller than others. Bar are is nice with full meal service. Food was good. Menu has something for everyone. Flat noodles were great! Loved the salmon tacos.

Came in the week of Christmas and they decorated really well plus had good Christmas playlist. Plenty of options for the picky eater or the sushi connoisseur. Shrimp fried rice was so good and I've never had it presented to me like I did here so will come back to try more dishes. Server was attentive and checked in frequently.

Love coming here with my kids! Such a chill easy-going place that's very welcoming for families. Service was amazing. Great recommendations. I think I got the Royce roll and it was so good. They have everything for everyone, including orange chicken for my kids, and they even had the sweetest little orange made of bears at the end. We all really really enjoyed Sushi here.

Great food and service. The only thing I didn't like was the tables were very close together, however it is a small spot.

When we walked in, the hostess had a poor attitude and was off putting. Unfriendly and borderline rude. We made sure to get there as soon as they opened because we knew it would be dead, and we'd have better luck at quicker service. Unfortunately, they sat us outside because we had our ESA animal in an enclosed carrier after grilling us about what services he performs, and I believe we were forgotten about since we were the only ones on the porch. It was a very warm day with high humidity. I asked the hostess if she could make sure the fans were on since it was so hot, and she asked, "So, you want me to turn them off?" We only ordered two apps of Roti Canai, one order of the twice friend wings, and an order or the donuts (all were ordered at once to help speed things along since it was so hot outside.) It took quite a while, and the wings came out soggy and cold, which is not the norm. A thunderstorm was coming in, and we had been waiting on our donuts for at least 20 minutes at this point. My husband informed the hostess that we would have to either cancel the order or move inside since it was about to start raining. She flippantly said that she would have to ask the manager first if we were allowed inside. We were so turned off that it really ruined the experience, and it was not the way we wanted to celebrate Mother's Day. The donuts finally came out (also cold), and I had my husband just give her the credit card without the check so we could hurry up and get off the porch before it started coming down. We rushed through the dessert and left. Not loving our experience and not sure if we'll be back until the attitude and service changes. We're bummed because we were always a fan of this place until now.

Ambiance- 9.5/10 Dim atmosphere with trendy vibes. Cool decor and Jenga to play while waiting for your food. If you don't like dark areas, you can sit outside with umbrellas providing shade. Service- 10/10 Our server was extremely helpful and nice. She recommended excellent dishes and even gave us a plate of chicken wings on the house! Value- 8/10 Good value, especially considering the quality of the food. Most sides were 5-10$, while the entrees were 12-16$. Portions were medium. Food Malaysian Roti- (2 pc, 9.5$)- 9.5/10 Was perfectly flaky and crispy. Came with a flavorful curry dipping sauce. Chili Garlic Edamame- (8$)- 7/10 Everything you would expect. However, it could have more of the chili garlic sauce. They do give you a complementary tray of spicy sauces (including chili oil), so this was not a big deal. Korean Twice Fried Wings- (5 for 14$)- 10/10 Wings were large, so one was the perfect appetizer for a single person. Coated in a heavenly gochujang garlic glaze. Nice and saucy while still being very crispy and juicy. Was my favorite dish we ordered. Pad Thai- (16.5$)- 8.5/10 Came with a fried egg, shrimp, and chicken. Had a hint of spice that elevated it from good to great. Curry Laksa Ramen- (16$)- 9/10 Very flavorful curry broth. Noodles were excellent and also came with tofu and a boiled egg. Overall, every aspect of the resturant was top tier. Would 100% recommend if you are near.

Enjoyed my meal at Onesan…read more Nice that even Saturday had an abundance of great happy hour options, although the sashimi flight of five small pieces of sashimi at $20, as good as it tasted and looked, seemed more like "normal hour" pricing rather than anything "happy". For reference, the Little Katana happy hour sashimi appetizer is 7+ larger, fresh pieces INCLUDING a beer or wine for $15. When I asked how many pieces it included when I ordered it, the waitress didn't seem to know, mentioning anywhere from 5 to 10 pieces. I'd probably not order this option on return visits. The other items tried were all very good and reasonably priced. Their take on the margarita was also tasty and really didn't stray much in taste from a typical spicy margarita. Aside from not knowing menu details, the service provided was otherwise very good and efficient. Drinks, however, took longer than expected to arrive, showing up after some of the food items had already been served. That may have been more of a bar issue than the servers. Ambiance is great. Very nice and peaceful, especially in the booths at the back. Looked like a nice bar and patio area, too! Will definitely be back!
