This place was pretty good! I came with a girlfriend just for drinks, so take my review with a grain of salt if you plan to dine-in for a meal. The ambiance isn't really cute or charming, which is surprising given the area. I think they could make a lot of improvements in terms of the way the restaurant is decorated. I got a cocktail with cucumber and lime flavors, and I enjoyed it, though the huge 4 chucks of cucumber around the rim was a little odd and made it difficult to drink. My friend got their twist on a cosmo, and it was really great. It had a lychee-like flavor that really complemented the cocktail. The service was just standard. They seemed disappointed when we said we were only getting drinks even though it was past 9pm. Overall, I would be open to returning for dinner, but it wasn't a stand-out experience!

Went on a Sunday evening around 7:30 and it was a bit slow. The staff told us we had just missed the rush. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, helping to narrow down the wide sushi selection. It's a small restaurant, but we were able to be sat by the window, and it was a lovely way to close out the weekend!

There are much better ones to be had. Strong flavor and not the good way.

I really wanted to love this place. It's within walking distance from my place and I do love some sushi. The rolls here are not bad but everything else is. The sodium content is quite high on a lot of things too. Service here needs to be chased down at times. What saved them somewhat is the rainbow roll was tasty and the unagi (my favorite sushi) was soft and delicate.

Great spot on Knox for affordable sushi, great sized portion, a full bar, and delicious sake. The sushi roll specials are always my go to with an appetizer of edamame and house salad:) great service, get a reservation, also has a nice little patio on the street! Recommend: Fire roll for spicy tuna lovers, white dragon roll for yellowtail lovers, & katana 101 roll for salmon lovers

Dropped in for lunch yesterday. Was on my own so I opted to sit at the bar. Staff was very attentive. My water and iced tea glass was always full without me having to ask. I ordered the bento box with an added California roll. Everything was delicious.

really good lunch today. No-chee took great care of us. BTW, I don't think that's how she spells her name, but that is the way it's pronounced. Anyway, she's a great server, even though we haven't been in in a couple of months she remembers who I am and she knows what wine I like. Husband had BilGogi Bento box and I had a sunny roll. Both were excellent.

This was delicious! I got one roll and it was plenty of food for me. The ambiance was perfect for a chilly day and I would definitely go again.

Stopped by here to grab a quick snack. We got the avocado egg rolls which were very tasty with the sauce it came with. Also tried the yakisoba noodles which were also flavorful. Overall kind of pricey and decent food. It's a good lunch spot for sure.

I was very excited going into my experience at Little Katana and I am sad to say it was a bit of a let down. Overall our server was great, he gave great recommendations and we were there for a birthday so he made sure it was a special occasion for the group. Our choice of Little Katana was a pretty spontaneous decision and they were able to seat us fairly quickly which was greatly appreciated. The ambiance is as you would expect as you walk past Little Katana on Knox. Nothing too special but nothing bad either. My main issue was with the food and drinks. The food itself was delish but the portion sizes were quite disappointing. My group of three ordered an appetizer to share and 3 separate entrees and we still walked out pretty hungry. In addition, we also ordered drinks and for the price they did not taste well made at all. Our group is usually really not picky with drinks but no one who ordered even got halfway through.

We had an enjoyable dinner. I went to pay the tab and told our server, Stephen, to add 20% to the tab. Before ever seeing the tab. This was a $126 tip for a meal for 9. $800 bill. As I was paying the tab, Stephen said If I wanted to tip more, he would appreciate it. Stephen turned a great evening and meal into a 2 star review. We will not be back. Thanks Stephen, I would love to hear what you manager things of this BS, but I will not be back to find out.

Came here for the first time during lunch and was recommended the seafood stone bowl, because it was the best thing. I didn't think twice I ordered it and never looked back since. The seafood stone bowl is so good, the best part is the crispy rice at the bottom of the bowl. They mix it right in front of you, which is a nice touch, it's so good. The little katana roll is also my favorite, I actually order both when I go. It's a lot of food but I can handle it. Ha. I highly recommend this place and tell them I sent you because they know me . The ambience and service is always great. I've never had a problem.

Little Katana was great!! Their food was amazing. The sushi tasted so fresh. The food was a little pricey, but great service and environment.

For the nigiri I had the fatty tuna, a5 wagyu, and king salmon. They were all absolutely delicious and warped me to Japan. I appreciate that their reservation site provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision (pricing, how it works, etc.). When I checked in I was offered sake but since i'm not drinking they accommodated me with sparkling green tea (which was soooo good). The wait was a bit longer than I expected. I checked in at 7:35 for my 7:45 reservation, we weren't seated until 8:10. The hostess was apologetic about the wait. The restaurant itself is in a basement and it's a typical quaint chef's experience with about 10 seats in an intimate space. I loved the decor and vibe. The staff was very friendly, they all introduced themselves and walked us through how the omakase experience worked. We had a 17 course tasting menu and I enjoyed every bite. Loved that the chefs explained every dish and gave us the origin of the fish. My favorite was the Kanpachi, but everything was delicious and tasted fresh. I had a yummy mocktail and our "spirit guide" let me try a non alcoholic champagne which I loved. After dinner we were led into Ginger's which is a speakeasy next door that I've been to a few times. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The only thing I would change is the number of seats. I felt cramped.
